This is just a short video showing how to convert from decimal to hexadecimal. While it was made for my Jedi Master, anyone may feel free to gain from its knowledge!
I've just did your research. I've wrote it in points so you can study each one. (T) - I've just spent an hour and summed up like 18 different large channels and their channel views and it came to about 7.7 million views. (R) - Millions upon millions = 2,000,000 x 2,000,000 (at lowest case scenario). 2,000,000 = 4,000,000,000,000 views. That's 4 trillion views. (O) - 7.7 million views of probably the top 18 most popular conversion type channels is no where near 4 fucking trillion views. fortunelords.com/youtube-statistics/ (L) - UA-cam gets about a billion views daily from mobile phones. Which accounts for more than half. So let's say it is half (giving you leverage) That's about 2,000,000,000 views a day. Even if these white out of shape men got all the views for a day. 2,000,000,000 views is nowhere near what they actually have in their entirety. 7,700,000 (Real) 2,000,000,000 (Hypothetical daily max) 4,000,000,000,000 (Your estimation) (L) - Your math is so freaken off. I think you better be ready to delete your account. Because i'd be embarrassed if someone discovered i was this bad at math. I hope your kids don't see this...
PLEASE READ!!! I am glad that almost everyone who has commented loves the video. Unfortunately, there are some who did not understand the last part about zero and a remainder. I must emphasize that you MUST understand 4th grade (USA standards) elementary school math. For example, 7 divided by 16 is ZERO with a remainder of 9 parts left over. If you cannot understand this concept, you really have to go back to Mrs. Whooziwhattsits 3rd quarter 4th grade math class and relearn division with remainders. Hope this helps!
It's easier to first convert decimal to binary and then convert the resulting binary to hexidecimal. 4512 in binary is 0001 0001 1010 0000. Then that converts to 11A0. Remember that binary slots are powers of 2 from right to left. Just simple adding, no division required.
thanks u just saved my tomorrow's test; i really want to just learn from the internet i kinda feel studying in school is useless when u have internet connection, u can study what you want how you want again thanks!
Well this was easy. You explained it very well. I just wish my Computer Science Principles teacher taught the same way you did. No offense to her though. I hope she doesn't see this.
Sorry, I'm at a Toyota dealership now. I have learned a few things about a couple countries through my automotive ventures. Starting with German automotive engineering, I now fully understand why Germany lost ww1 AND ww2. I also fully understand why Detroit is completely bankrupt!!
They teach us here in basic school why Germans lost WW1 and WW2. Two separate reasons not exacly same at each case. Common reason for both were resources shortage. Partially you are right with reason why WW2 was lost becasue of too complicated engineering but thats goes back to main reason which was shortage of resources.
After passing the numbers I confirm they are done right at www.charactercount.net/number-to-binary.php Here you can go to hexdecimal, decimal, binary, octal ... all in one
I have a different approach. It's easer for me to quickly convert it to binary and then just deal with quartets of digits. Like in this case 4512 in binary is 1000110100000. Make dividers every 4 digits starting from the back: 1| 0001| 1010| 0000. Assign values to the divided digits: first is 1=1, second is 0001=1, third: 1010=10(A), fourth: 0000=0. We get 11A0. No head calculations of dividing numbers needed. It all depends what is more comfortable for you to do. Dividing or converting in to binary.
oooooh!!!!!! may goodness this is very explained, very concise and very arranged. i wish i knew this since....but i will teach my kids this and my nephews and nieces will learn more from this formula. Am subscribing immediately to you channels. it worth it!!!!!!!!
Great video, so easy, the people that doesn't understand it it is because they don't know how to do a normal division, english it is not my first language and I couldnt understand it any better
No need for long division . just do like me i divide the number by 16 like 282/16 if it give me decimal number like 17.658 i take integer part then do -->>> 17 *16 = 272 this mean the reminder is 282-272 =10. Hope this help the internet this help from EGYPT.
OMFG I THOUGHT ALL UA-cam TEACHERS WHO TEACH THIS TOPIC WERE YAPPIN BULLSHIT AFTER I WATCHED Two-Point-Four BUT I WAS WRONGGGG. U DESERVE MORE SUBS THAN HIM TBH 😁
Thank YOU! Progamming Professor just kind of threw these problems at us with no explanation. That made it very easy!
middle-aged, slightly out of shape white men with small youtube accounts have saved millions upon millions of students.
A very true statement indeed.
Millions? There’s only 87k views...
Yes there are only 87k views on this particular channel, I'm talking about as a whole, not just this one guy...

"Upon" in this case would be defined as addition, not multiplication. I hope your kids don't see this.
quick, simple, and clear. couldn't have found a better vid. thanks so much!
2 Month's of pain of trying to understand how these thing works from school and here it is 5mins then now I understand. Thank you!!

LOL
Explained everything exceptionally well, very clear and friendly. Keep going! :)
Youre so talented not in terms of this hexadecimal stuff and all, you teach so well
I was left in shocked with how simple it was tysm
Better than anything my teacher could explain. Thanks
You are way smarter than those frauds with a Degree! Thank you for explaining this! Bravo !

Yeah Bro 🤘
No jeff covert dec to hex is easier by this way
Helped in my C++ class. Thanks for explaining the concept to easily.
learning c++??
nickle
someone give this guy a medal; some heroes casually share their super powers
Thanks man I finally get it LOL after watching like 4 vids this one explained best I think.
thanks u just saved my tomorrow's test; i really want to just learn from the internet i kinda feel studying in school is useless when u have internet connection, u can study what you want how you want
again thanks!
Thank you sooo much!!! I WILL RULE THE WORLD WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE!
too late is already being ruled!!!:D
Thank you divdad. I used this to ace a computer maths test.
Just a quick tip to make the video even easier: Start of by doing the exact same thing, but with the decimal system.
Convert Decimal to Decimal:
23450/10 = 2345 (Rem = 0)
2345/10 = 234 (Rem = 5)
234/10 = 23 (Rem = 4)
23/10 = 2 (Rem = 3)
2/10 = 0 (Rem = 2)
Now write it from bottom to top: 23450 :)
Same goes for binary, which has base 2:
32134/2 = 16076 (Rem = 0)
16076/2 = 8033 (Rem = 1)
8033/2 = 4016 (Rem = 1)
4016/2 = 2008 (Rem = 0)
2008/2 = 1004 (Rem = 0)
1004/2 = 502 (Rem = 0)
502/2 = 251 (Rem = 0)
251/2 = 125 (Rem = 1)
125/2 = 62 (Rem = 1)
62/2 = 31 (Rem = 0)
31/2 = 15 (Rem = 1)
15/2 = 7 (Rem = 1)
7/2 = 3 (Rem = 1)
3/2 = 1 (Rem = 1)
1/2 = 0 (Rem = 1)
Again, read from bottom to top ans you will get this: BIN: (0)111 1101 1000 0110
I think 16076/2 actually equals to 8038
thank you so much! my teacher just skipped explanation over this part and i was so confused, but now i've completely understood! 😊💜
Me too. Noting at all in the book either lol
this man is a different breed
Very straight forward and simple to follow video. Made something I really struggled with, much easier. Thank you!
For real , same here
Well this was easy. You explained it very well. I just wish my Computer Science Principles teacher taught the same way you did. No offense to her though.
I hope she doesn't see this.
Edward Cortez you and I both, this dude should teach!
What if I told you that my actual occupation is an automotive mechanic working at a Ford dealership, lolz!
Sorry, I'm at a Toyota dealership now. I have learned a few things about a couple countries through my automotive ventures. Starting with German automotive engineering, I now fully understand why Germany lost ww1 AND ww2. I also fully understand why Detroit is completely bankrupt!!

Michael Schwartz I’m wondering why?
After passing the numbers I confirm they are done right at www.charactercount.net/number-to-binary.php
Here you can go to hexdecimal, decimal, binary, octal ... all in one
Wow, thanks...
The single most simple Perfect explanation of Anything ever
why aren't all teachers like this guy?
Dude, thank you so much! This is really going to help me in my CompTIA A+ course.
or just split it into 2 nibbles and change each hex value into a nibble and concatonate them to get the end num
I'm from Asia, and this is really goodddd. Thanks man!
Wow you are a life saver. You rock
Cheers to you, man! You truly made it easy.
best video i've seen on this subject so far. Thanks so much for making it simple
Thank youuuuu!!! We learnt this in the university today, and i didnt understand!!! but the way you teach is different!!! thank youuuu again!!!
Thank you very much Sir! You've saved my life. Becuz I have a computer examination today
I hope u did well bro
The best explanation on the web. Thanks a lot!

thank you for this video. It really helps me a lot. In my Computer subject.
nice edge up bro
Thanks for the video man, such a good explanation!
No need for long division . just do like me i divide the number by 16 like
282/16 if it give me decimal number like 17.658 i take integer part then do -->>> 17 *16 = 272 this mean the reminder is 282-272 =10.
Hope this help the internet this help from EGYPT.
Excellent explanation
Tommorow is my exam and I thank you sooo much for helping me out
the BEST TUTORIAL EVEEEEERRR!
11A0 (base 16) should be the correct answer
THANK YOU FOR NEW KNOWLEDGE CAUZ I'LL BE REPORTING TOMMOROW FOR OUR COMPUTER PROGRAMMING SUBJECT THANKA A BUNCH!

Thank you man so easy!
Greatest explanation .
thanks a lot i will keep on practicing sir
you have became my teacher now by choice
THAT'S WHY HE IS THE GOAT 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you ❤️🙏
Thank you 💖
OMFG I THOUGHT ALL UA-cam TEACHERS WHO TEACH THIS TOPIC WERE YAPPIN BULLSHIT AFTER I WATCHED Two-Point-Four BUT I WAS WRONGGGG. U DESERVE MORE SUBS THAN HIM TBH 😁
the colour of the cloth is initially white
thank you so much! :)
It was awesome 😊
Thanks. This might help me with the Network + exam.
Great lesson ! Really did help a lot !
Why not divide by 256 to start with?
You blew my brain
Awesome video well explained
i liked the way you clean the board , ....
what if reminder go beyond number 15 then
Why didn't he put the reminder 32
thank you for your video!
1000th Like, CSEC Exam tomorrow.
Awesome, you made it, thank you.
nowifonlyIknewhowtodivide
I have no idea where "remainder 10" comes from in 282/16. There's nothing easy about this.
mindblown
what if my remainder comes something like 17?
Thank you. Nice and easy.
Thank you very much🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️
Simple and easy method
thanks, only one that made sense
