DNA is stable than RNA because one molecule of oxygen in DNA is absent and as you know that oxygen is very reactive thus , RNA mutate very fast and DNA does not so it become stable and that's why its DE-oxyribose !!!

DNA is double stranded while RNA is stranded. Don't forget this difference.
