Okay Mello, this one got my sub! I love all of Home Free. But Austin's solo work is just top notch! He's brought me to tears more times than I care to admit. But he's worth it! You should check out some of Tim's solo work, too. Both stole my heart years ago! Check out more of Austin's work from Bring Him Home (Les Mis cover) to Unchained Melody. I never thought I'd hear anyone cover either to the degree that Austin has!
You hit the nail on the head....Austin connects to everything he sings.....which is why I get full body chills every time he opens his mouth. All the guys in Home Free are great singers, but I think Austin just has that something special!! You should also check out his version of "Danny Boy"!
I lost my beautiful wife 10 days ago...We were married for 70 years. This song and singer will help me live out the rest of the life I have left. I will be with her then for eternity.
He did a beautiful job on this. I cry every time I hear this. Austin has a beautiful singing voice but he also has a great speaking voice lol I love a southern accent 😍
This song and HF's cover of Go Rest High (the Church Sessions) get me every time. My daughter died in 2013 and they really hit home. You do, indeed, have a lot of music to discover. HF, Austin, Tim, Chance, they all collaborate with Peter Hollens, with The Hound and The Fox; Chris Rupp has his own music and collaborations, too. Then there is Sweet & Low - Tim, Austin, Jeffrey East, Chris Chatham, Ernie Halter, And Luisa Marion - so much talent and so much laughter. Go and enjoy!! You will laugh, you will cry, you will shake your head in amazement and wonder. But you will rarely be bored.
This is one of those songs, one that will make me cry every time I hear it. Whether it's Eric Clapton or Austin Brown singing it. Austin does an awesome job with it, but of course ....
When we all heard the about his son. All I could think what was that baby thinking 🥺 Austin is from Georgia and you can tell. Music can bring us all together.I believe that even more since I started watching reaction videos. 🌹
He does such a beautiful job on this. I knew the story before and it took me quite awhile after he posted this before I had the nerve to watch it. Of course he made me cry, too.
Austin sings with his heart on his sleeve. He is could sing the dictionary and still give it meaning. Check out his other channel it's really interesting. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Austin sings with so much emotion and has such an amazing voice!🔥🔥❤️👏 And this is such a sad story behind the song us, such a tragedy!! 😢 Thanks for the reaction!!❤❤👏👏
I have not heard a single song from him that didn't make me feel something, but this one hit extra hard because I knew the story behind this song before I heard him sing it. I heard the original when it came out by Eric Clapton. Austin makes you believe that he knows the feelings behind this from a personal sense that brings a new closeness to it. He also has other songs that I love to listen to. "Bring him home" and" I'm not supposed to love you anymore" are two of my favorites.
I think you'd love to hear Adam Chance singing "Wayfaring Stranger" with The Hound + The Fox. Chance has such a beautiful voice, and unfortunately not one you hear the most of, in the Home Free songs, although when he does sing, oh, you'll hear it alright. Tim also has a very active channel, where he does a few fantastic songs, all from his latest doo wop album, but also songs on request for fans. They are all very sweet guys, and I just love how they can make you laugh, cry, smile, and run you through every emotion - they are just that good. I love how you could really feel this song with Austin.
I just have to ask this....do you realize he's doing this sitting down? You should watch the video where he takes you around his home, introduces his family, etc. They've been on that land for a long time and he loves it. Georgia to the bone.
This is a very emotional song and reaches into your soul. Next Austin Brown song should be "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserable. It will knock your socks off! 😊
You might like Austin Brown's Hometown Homecoming, where we meet some of Austin's family and learn a bit more about his background. It's charming, especially the part where he and Amberly spend some time with his grandfather.
It hits so differently when you know that it's a daddy, talking to his wee little boy😔 A daddy who said goodbye way too soon.... "Will you help me stand?"is a game all parents play with their children😊 when they are small and you're sitting on the couch, floor wherever and they'll pull on your hands helping you up, feeling so big as you stand up and pretend they did it!!! Those moments are so sweet and small but they always have a spot in your heart! SoOoOoOoO many people miss that part, but once explained and you listen to it again, you understand the words so much more than you ever could before.... So please appreciate today and know time is the most precious gift we all have and remember to use it wisely, because we don't get do overs here on earth. XOXOXO from Florida CUTIEPATOOTIE 🤗🙏 4 ✌️ AlWaYs Of course watching you isn't wasting time ❤️ because you actually do make my heart smile 😁
Austin has a spectacular voice.. and often makes me cry, too! There are so many songs that I know you would enjoy... if you get a chance, check out Tim Foust and Austin Brown singing a Brooks and Dunn hit.. My Maria.. yep.. thats our super bass singing soooooo high! He is accompanied by Chris Chatham.. and the guy playing the bass is Tim Fousts Brother in law.. in real life! Tim is married to Jennika Marion a member of a super talented musical family.. and dont miss Austins cover of Stevie Wonders Signed Sealed Delivered.. the blonde lady is Jennika... and yeah.. Austin is just like a Disney princess.. those are deer in the yard while he is singing..lol.. Thanks for all you do.. Love you! Stay safe!
Great reaction. You should react to his cover of Bring Hime Home and also his newest Never Had a Dream Come True. Home free has new original songs written by the from theinew album So Long Dixie.
Top notch reaction. I'm glad you took the time to get the context. I remember when this happened as well as the later release of this song. 👏 Great job
Mello yeah I'm just going to go ahead and say it honey Austin is a badass I absolutely love his voice and he couldn't picked a better song and did the tribute like that with this song
Austin seems to have a singular way of projecting emotions through his voice.
Have you watched "I'm Not Supposed to Love you Anymore"? Talk about projecting emotions.
I love listening to Austin, I'm Not Supposed To Love You Anymore and Bring Him Home are two of my favourites x

I with Ya. I Cried So Such, That I almost used up a 1/2 Box of Kleenex!!😢
This was filmed in his backyard in Nashville. Probably by Amberly his girlfriend.
You hit the nail on the head....Austin connects to everything he sings.....which is why I get full body chills every time he opens his mouth. All the guys in Home Free are great singers, but I think Austin just has that something special!! You should also check out his version of "Danny Boy"!
This one shows the genuis that is Austin Brown!! The passion this man shows when he sings
I don’t know how anyone can hear this and not cry, especially reading the story behind it!
Music is what connects us without the negativity when it is songs like this. Austin gives the credit where credit is due and he, Austin is a wonder.
It was a horrible tragedy and I think Austin really brought out the feelings in this cover. It was done beautifully.
Another couple you might like are Etta James' At Last and Georgia on My Mind, both phenomenal
Great cover to this song, if you've never seen the MTV Unplugged Eric Clapton version, I HIGHLY recommend it. Tissue warning ahead of time. Big ❤️
I lost my beautiful wife 10 days ago...We were married for 70 years. This song and singer will help me live out the rest of the life I have left. I will be with her then for eternity.
Austin has a beautiful voice and soul.
When a Man Loves Woman needs to be your next one. Austin will blow your mind on that one too!
He did a beautiful job on this. I cry every time I hear this.
Austin has a beautiful singing voice but he also has a great speaking voice lol I love a southern accent 😍
Deep into my soul🥺💞Between both of my parents & especially my precious 14 month old grandson lost in a tragic auto accident I can’t help but cry
This was a stellar performance by Austin - I don't think he could've done it better. Thanks Mello.

And just to top off the tears, their cover of "Movin' On" just popped up in my playlist. It is an original by Chris Rupp.
Baby girl, the backstory makes the song!!! And, like you said..."Austin is delivering". ❤️🤗

We love you Mello! You get it!!
All of Home Free has been on a tear with emotional songs lately.
Every time I hear this song it makes me cry. Austin did an excellent job! I am sure Eric Clapton should be very proud. Love your reaction!
He does such a beautiful job on this. I knew the story before and it took me quite awhile after he posted this before I had the nerve to watch it. Of course he made me cry, too.

this is so beautiful ❤
This is a very emotional song and reaches into your soul.
Next Austin Brown song should be "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserable. It will knock your socks off! 😊
Check out his Unchained Melody and Bring Him Home from Les Miz.
And.....Austin is handsome, sexy......a heartthrob!

Listening to this is difficult because my wife passed away in 2021.

Beautiful reaction to a song telling a very sad story about a tragic event. Thank you,
Top notch reaction. I'm glad you took the time to get the context. I remember when this happened as well as the later release of this song. 👏 Great job
Lovely reaction, Austin's training was in theater, he really does know how to convey emotion. Please react to Austin's cover of Etta James' At Last.
Mello yeah I'm just going to go ahead and say it honey Austin is a badass I absolutely love his voice and he couldn't picked a better song and did the tribute like that with this song
This is an Eric Clapton song he wrote for his son when he fell out a 10 story window. Very sad 😢
This version is far and away better than the original.
That song so much is Austin Powers
Thanks!
