- USC MFA is LA’s Best Drama School | Learn exactly how Casey got accepted
--------------
Our coaching client, Casey Landman is going to LA! She was accepted to the USC MFA Acting program this year and will be starting classes this fall.
In some ways, Casey’s story is unique and totally personal. But in other ways, it’s like many of us who just want great actor training for ourselves and our future.
In this video, you’ll learn:
-how she found her monologues (even though it was tough)
-exercises and strategies that helped her connect more to Shakespeare
-how she put her MFA school list together
-what happened in the auditions (including her impression of the USC MFA faculty)
-how she prepared herself emotionally for the auditions
-tips to give yourself permission, take the space, and deliver your best work!
The Acting MFA at USC (University of Southern California) is a 3-year program in Los Angeles that blends modern and classical actor-training. They only accept 10 students per year.
One of the biggest advantages of going to USC for Acting is that it’s on the same campus as the top Film Directing program in the world.
So the USC actors and filmmakers can network with each other and do projects that can eventually lead to fruitful professional relationships after graduation.
We are excited for Casey and wish her the best!
