My son just started playing Skyrim. I'm so glad you put together these guides all those years ago. I'm able to help him out quite a bit. They are still helping tons! I'm now binge watching all your Skyrim guides.
Dardan Berisha What did you do to get to 76? I am 72 and there is nothing, absolutely nothing for me to do anymore in the game. I did every quest and found all location long ago and there is just nothing in the game anymore. Do you have any tips? I want to reach level 80 so i can fight the ebony warrior
He listed both of those recipes. Also, the giant's toe one isn't even the fastest. Fastest (without Hearthfire installed) is giant's toe, bear claws, hanging moss.
I like how you say it's a Level 1 guide, but you had a 0% chance to pickpocket your gold back at Level 1, so you leveled your character to level 6 and got your pickpocket up to 42 and then went back and tried again when it was a 55% chance.
I have to agree, but I also feel the need to point out he also showed to pickpocket while they were asleep if you couldn't while awake. I believe he did that simply to be able to show the other method on camera.
well he just did that to show you a faster method you can do it on level 1 by training alchemy 1 level at a time so the amount of gold isnt too high to pickpocket
A couple of things should be noted: 1-stealing your gold back from trainers can be extremely difficult unless your pickpocket skill is godly and you have some perks invested. 2-some of these ingredients can be purchased without needing to farm stupid amounts of them, which can save you some effort. 3-leveling a non-combat skill too early will leave your character very weak in the face of leveled enemies, meaning it's best to wait until you've got some combat skill under your belt (which will also give you a chance to earn some gold to fund your training anyway)
You're pickpocket skill doesn't need to be that high, I started a new character on legendary and am now able to picket 100s of gold from the trainer in whiterun easily, it levels up pretty quickly too, just steal as much stuff as you can that has upwards of 50% chance to steal, and also make sure you're crouched behind the trainer undetected which js easy to do, and you could always quicksand before pickpocketing so you have a backup save in case you fail
Also, they less gold you spend training before pick pocketing, the better. I find it's easiest to train 1 level, pick pocket the few hundred gold, and repeat, just make sure you quicksand to make your life easier incase you fail a pick pocket
You could always do the Crimson Nirnroot quest as well. When you finish it, not only do you get an ability that sometimes produces two potions instead of one, but the Sarethi Farm in The Rift will constantly grow both Nirnroot and Crimson Nirnroot. You can make some pretty expensive potions combining these ingredients as they have the exact same 4 properties. Neither is particularly hard to find, and both respawn over time (yes, even the Crimson Nirnroot in Blackreach respawns). When it comes to leveling Alchemy, I always favor making potions I'm going to use over power leveling. A really good potion that is both useful tot he player and good for leveling is simply combining Wheat with Blue Mountain Flower. This creates a restore+fortify health potion that is extremely useful on higher difficulties, and both ingredients are very common in and around cities.
Wheat and blue mountain flower is my preferred health potion as well. It's simple, and the ingredients can be grown in abundance. But, IMO, it's better to spend time power leveling with farmed creep cluster, mora tampinella, and scaly pholiota first because when you do start making those potions that are actually useful to you, they will be much more effective at max level. Not to mention, you will be rich from selling all those potions.
My personal favorite recipe for skilling up Alchemy is Scaly Pholiata, Mora Tapinella, with optional Creep Cluster. All of these can be farmed using the Hearthfire planters (though the creep cluster is tough to pick). With a little time invested into planting and harvesting you have an unlimited supply of ingredients that make reasonably valuable potions. Not the most valuable potions available but very easy to farm up a ton of materials.
448 giant toes to go from level 26 to 100. That's with thief stone and well rested bonus activated. I'd thoroughly reccomend doing the duplication method to get all the ingredients you need rather than just farming. Took me about an hour to go from 1 - 500 of each of the 3 needed for this training session. Much quicker than farming 1400 items naturally lol
A way to make the pickpocketing easier is to pickpocket after every single training level up, instead of all 5 at once. Your likelihood of successfully stealing an item is based off its weight and value, so pickpocketing 200g five separate times is way more successful than 1000g all at once. And you still get the same levels, the process just takes an extra 30 seconds.
As far as giants toe goes, it's actually better mixing it with hanging moss and bears claws or blue butterfly wings and blue mountain flowers (845 base value vs 827 base value, but still...) also, my favorite potion has got to be mora tapinella, scaly pholiota, and creep cluster. That's the most expensive potion you can make using only ingredients you can grow in a garden with the Hearthfire DLC.
Watched as I was curious if you covered my favorite alchemy leveling potion. Salmon roe, garlic, and nordic barnacle cluster makes a water breathing potion that regenerates both health and magika. Each single potion will level alchemy for quite a while and 2 potions do it right through midway to 100. Just sic.
If you have the enchantment skillls to make a full set of alchemy boosting gear, you can literally make potions so expensive that you will level up 3-4 levels up to level 50 PER POTION, and 2-3 levels up to level 75 or so. I only needed 30 of each ingredient to go from level 15-100, so it makes it easy to use the legendary system to just farm perks.
I recently restarted skyrim and was using your guides and they are fantastic, just a tip for anyone using the chaurus egg method, go to frostflow lighthouse in-between dawnstar and winterhold. It doesn't have Namira's Rot but even after skipping over a bunch I left the area with over 400 chaurus eggs
Another alchemy tip if you are interested... Need to purchase a home with the Heartfire DLC... Build a garden and/or greenhouse.... Plant creep cluster, mora tapinella, and scaly pholiata... Fill the appropriate Alchemy perks and level up at your leisure... P.S. Acquiring the merchant perk from the Speech skill tree allows you to offload all those potions quickly.
At the beginning of the game, instead of doing the main quest, become the Thane of Falkreath. That's the easy one. This opens up Hearthfire (house with two growing areas). Grow stuff to make potions that you actually use and sell. It's plenty fast enough.
There's a third potion wich levels alchemie very quickly You neet 1. Mora Tapinella 2. Scaly Pholiota and 3. Creep Cluster and the best You can grow ALL of them at your house
Fly Aminita, Dragon's Tongue, Mora Tapinella. Easy to find/grow very expensive. Any combo of salt/deathbell poison = expensive poison. Swap in River Betty for the fishermen. Lastly Garlic, salt and Namira's Rot/Nordic Barnacle
Was just about to say the same thing. You can get some mora along the road from Riverwood to Whiterun, and scaly pholita on fallen logs in the Rift. The easiest home to get is Lakeview, since you only need to do a bandit camp raid. I don't really think it's reasonable to expect players to kill a whole lot of giants at low levels, plus you only get 1 toe per giant.
alternatively you can just get salmonroe, garlic, and nordic barnacles. its the most expensive potion in the game, worth over 200 gold more than the ones he is using.
Might be a good idea to start off with the second potion first. Giant Toes are pretty expensive in stores, and they're not an enemy you can kill early on.
Creep cluster + scaly pholiota + mora tappinela = more efficient and you can grow all of it in your home all you gotta do is just wait 2 days (in game time) for garden to grow and pick them then wait again
Well you have to figure that it's going to take several hours before you're able to effectively fight Giants unless you cheat. Then you're going to have to raid multiple Giant camps to get toes. After that, you have to wait multiple days for them to respawn.
download this mod-(order my items), i am not sure its available for console . using this mod you can activate a chat option with alchemist or the blacksmith to order particular set of ingredients and ingots respectively.you can also set the quantity plus you need to pay 10% fee to the vendor
At the beginning of the game, become the Thane of Falkreath. That's the easy one. This opens up Hearthfire (house with two growing areas). Grow stuff to make potions that you actually use and sell. It's plenty fast enough.
There's actually a much faster and far easier way to level up alchemy. The three ingredients you need are garlic, Nordic barnacle, and salmon roe. The garlic you can get in abundance from homes, either by becoming friends with the owners which allows you to take them freely (and they do respawn after a time) or stealing them. The Nordic barnacles, there are well over 50 available just north of the Dawnstar Sanctuary (dark brotherhood) attached to rocks under the water near a trio of horkers and on the sunken ship Hela's Folly. The salmon roe you get from catching jumping salmon in the rivers. There's around 30 alone in the river starting near the mine near the beginning standing stones (thief, warrior, mage) and following (swimming) the river down to the meadery outside of Whiterun. Grab the thief stone, rent a room in Whiterun to get the well rested bonus, and between making the potions and using Arcadia to train (up to level 75), it's super fast. After Arcadia can no longer train you, next best place to go is a side trip to Windhelm to initiate the quest to join the dark brotherhood. Once a member, can continue on with the potion making and training with Babette, who is a Master Alchemy trainer and can get you to 90. The last ten levels you're on your own, but just put points in alchemy as you go. This will increase the amount potions are worth and help with the higher training costs.
im moving house tomorrow so i have no internet for 16 days.. I'm pretty sure its only been two months since i last moved. As you can imagine i've been busy sorting things out for the move. Sadly though I will not have internet for potentially two weeks and a few more days. So what this means is I have stacked up a bunch of Skyrim videos to come out during this time. I do not think i have enough to cover the whole 16 days though. So if you notice that i upload less than once a day (as i have been these last couple of weeks) that is the reason. Also im not sure what speed the internet will be when it is setup, i pray its fast enough to stream still! I cannot see why it would not be as everybody in the area has fast internet. Its just our apartment has just been renovated so we don't know for sure until somebody comes and looks at it. Everything is a bit crazy right now, so i'm sorry if appear non existent over the next couple of weeks. Ill do what i can from my phone and internet cafes.
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides hey, you should remaster the necromancer build, and maybe add new army ideas! good job brah, keep up the awsomenes!
Took me for ever to get 50 wheat, creep cluster, and giant toe. I did the their stone and well rested bonus. Guess how much it took me up. To level 50. Thanks a lot for your 100 alchemy guide. And this includes the training from the alchemist
Isaac4Ownage he never said 50 would get you there. I’d say about 200. Good things come to those who wait. I made 1500 iron daggers after 10+ hours of grinding to get my smithing to 100.
hey guys. if you have the dlc that allows you to build houses, you can grow the creep cluster and weet in your own yard and it wil give you 4 per harvest. takes usually 2 days away from your home to respawn. I always use eso's guides. just thought I would add that
If you have the Hearthfire expansion things get super easy as you can have a garden and a greenhouse. Creep Cluster, Mora Tapinella and Scaly Pholiota can all be grown there and they make a super expensive potion. They reset in 2-3 in game days. Bonus tip: as these potions sell for tons of money you can use the coins for training. Sometimes shopkeepers has not enough money to buy the potions but if you find someone who is a trainer AND a merchant like Grelka in Riften you can give them money with buying training then sell the potions.
There are also other power potions: -Blue Mountain Flower, Hanging Moss, Lavender -Fly amanita, mora tapinella, dragon's tongue Ofc, there's like 50 more but those two are very easy to make. Also, potion featured in the video isn't the most expensive you can create. I don't remember the recipe, but it was something with salmon roe.
thanks for the information on the second potion. I was way easier than the first with the whole giant's toe. That whole thing was taking forever. I have to remember all these ingredients for the next play through so as to be able to collect from the ground running so when I get to this point with my build again I can be ready to go.
I got to level 100 alchemy with the second method using wheat, giants toe and creep cluster and it’s gonna take you about 700 of each of those to get to level 100 alchemy of course With the well rested perk and thief Stone
Get alteration to level 70 and get the paralysis spell when they try to stand back up you can pickpocket then even with a 0 percent chance for about 2 seconds. I leveled up alt very fast with detect life spell the more people the better I stood in the blue palace during the day bc there is at least 7 people in a small area and spam the spell in both hands as long as the people are blue it will keep leveling up you don't even have to use the magica if you spam fast enough. I went from 20 to 50 in less than 5 minutes. Once you're level 70 alteration buy the spell from tolfdir in winter hold.
Salmon roe mixed with either nordic barnacles or chicken's eggs are amazing . I believe mine are selling for 4000 each now. Raises your alchemy ridiculously fast.
@@stosh64 get the investor perk on speech tree... Or benefactor. Forget what it's called.... If you invest in a shops business like Riverwood trader they have a shit ton more gold.
ESO you have helped me so much with becoming an amazing Skyrim player. From the Daedric Armour at level one to the free house in Solitude and now this? Your doing an amazing job man, keep up the good work (It would really be great if you could find a way to make a Speech Skill tutorial)
An amazing Skyrim player doesn't need daedric armor at level one or free housing. An amazing player excels at the game without exploits, glitches, commands and mods that make the game easier. You're just a cheater.
Bernardo Calado first of all its a single player game. it's not cheating. There's no leader boards and you're not ruining other people's fun. Second what are you doing on the video if it's exploiting and cheating. Dork lol
I'm pretty sure that Archery leveling depends on damage dealt, so if you poison your arrow with something really potent (needing high Alchemy skill for that) you will level your Archery really quickly aswell.
I remember I used this technique at around level 50 alchemy with a duping glitch to get more giant toes and then I went up 22 levels from make them, selling them for Arcadia’s gold stock, buying all her ingredients, selling even more potions, buying training, immediately levelling up, selling more potions, getting even more training and selling more potions. Btw I still had 3 potions left. All in all, great method, especially combined with dupes to get even more ingredients for even more potions.
I use the ingredients Creep Cluster, Mora Tapinella, Scaly Pholiota. These can be grown at your own house (if you have the Hearthfire supplement), producing 5,3,5 respectively, which can be planted to produce more. The original ones can also be harvested again. You have 11 planting spots in the garden (a lot more if you have a greenhouse), so you can soon get a lot, from just one of each ingredient.
Just a friendly reminder. Turning your difficulty up to level up damaging skills is a bad idea. Your level rises by damage dealt. Not amount of spells cast. So Turning your difficulty up makes you level up slower. The reason anyone ever said to turn up your difficulty was to not accidentally kill your horse
He did some trickery and good editing. If you look at the first time he tried to steal the gold back it showed at the bottom he had a 0% chance to steal. Then he "reloads" and has a 55% chance. Yeah he's on some bullshit for that one.
I was just casually listening and when you started talking about collecting wheat, I thought you kept saying weed. As you can see, that would be hilarious to hear while watching a video about alchemy
I like this video as you state what you need to do bit by bit, whereas other "guides" to leveling automatically assume you have done lots of other hacks/glitches/other skill leveling techniques already. So thank you very much for this Vid and its structure
To beginners: If you're going on an expedition to hunt Creep Cluster, take the opportunity to grab Jazbay Grapes too. You'll need them for one of the fetch quests, and you might as well be prepared.
Skip chillwind, go to Frostflow Lighthouse. There's a side quest there that takes place under the lighthouse and I walked out with 340 eggs and I know I missed some. Be careful though, the end boss fight is pretty difficult.
You're the best man! Thank you so much for all of the work you do. Big fan of your Fallout 4 stuff too. Id like to follow you when new games come out. I find you learn the lore and explain it for me. Such a great help.
there is a easier way to do this just get all the the ingredients, make sure you have more than 2,make sure you have a companion then you drop them one by one make sure you only do one,say if you have giant's toe you will only drop that thing if ypu try to drop more than the ingredient you will get less. Then tell you companion to pick it up make sure that after she/he picks it up to move them away from were thay had just picked it up. Adter that u go outside of whiterun and then come back in.you should see a pile from where you droped the ingredients.go into your companions inventory and take the items u told her/him to pick up.then drop those items into the pile of the other ingredients.Repeat
most of us "whining" would rather download mods to cheat or just us console commands to get instant max alchemy. Might as well give yourself 1 shot sword, cause the fun's already gone cause you cheated, better yet give yourself 100k carryweight and fill up over 99k with pots
Best easy valuable potions 1 Deathbell and salt - slow 2 blue butterfly wing and blue mountain flower - damage magicka regen, and some that are handy A )butterfly wing and tundra cotton - fortify barter for early in the game when you have no money B) tundra cotton and red mountain flower- restore magicka C) blue mountain flower and wheat - restore health, fortify health
Just go to the Dawnstar hidden chest, take all of the enchanted items, disenchant them, then make a fuck load of iron daggers and enchant them. You can get filled soul gems in the same Dawnstar chest as well and you can glitch through a wall in the mages guild and steal all of the shit that they sell out of 4 hidden chests that are through that wall, so you can get heaps of soul gems that way as well, just look up how. It's easier if you use a "do not Delete chest" to stand on when you glitch through the wall. Just look up how to get one those as well. Also keep going back to that chest in Dawnstar for more enchanted items to disenchant, to get the chest to reload, find the travelling Kajit vendor just near the entrance to dawnstar, save, kill then reload then check out what he's got for sale, then go back to the hidden chest. To get iron ingots and leather straps for the daggers, just buy them from the Whiterun vendor, then use the save, kill then load method.
If you combine the Giant Toe Farming with a Bound Bow and a bunch of Greater Soul Gems and Grand Soul Gems (if you then also kill the Mammoths) you can easily combine your alchemy levelling with conjuration levelling and farming for enchanting leveling
Only a little bit. It really depends on how you play and what items you use. Thing is, if you're leveling pickpocket then odds are you're also leveling and using sneak - which is arguably the most OP way to play the game. And if you're leveling alchemy then you're going to have ready access to poisons including paralysis... Either way, even if you've only leveled non-combat skills - unless you're completely incompetent at the game you'll catch up with your chosen weapon soon enough as you'll be fighting creatures that can take a beating. On top of that, if you're going to use tricks like this I'm going to guess you'll also use the one for your chosen weapon.
pickpocket or other useless skills will fck u up,but Alchemy has OP potions and poisons so even someone with horrible fighting skills can still overcome his enemies...rly you only need Paralysis potions and you can destroy most enemies..Slow is also amazing.
Im not a fan of using potions themselves but they really can be op. I dont like them because they are temporary. However, you can create fortify smithing and fortify enchanting potions with alchemy. Utilizing all the crafting skills, you can create the most powerful legit gear in the game. You can blast way past the armor limit and if you have armor cap increase mod this is a bonus, your weapons will do hundreds of physical damage, the enchants on them will be op, if they add damage they will add like 40 damage or something, you can become completely immune to all magic and spells as well as dragon breath, you can have a lot of health/magicka/stamina, you can have a damn sniper dragonbone bow which does hundreds of damage and paralyzes meaning you can knock your enemies down from stealth and continue to blast them with your op sniper shots until they die, and i could keep rambling but i think the point has been made. Crafting is extremely overpowered and alchemy is a huge portion of the puzzle.
Paralysis is incredibly op, use the potions up until you find a weapon with the enchantment, put said enchantment on a dagger with only a 1 sec paralyse effect , the attack speed of the dagger means you essentially stagger most opponents every few strikes, now max enchanting to mix that with any effect of preference.. it’s silly to be honest 😂
I know I'm late but thanks, in the recent slump of game releases I've rediscovered skyrim and this is going to save me hundreds of hours, I always hated alchemy, now the only thing missing is Enchanting
you forgot to tell them that they need to eat any new ingredient they find. it reveals the first of 4 potions it can make, and it also levels your alchemy.
To take the merchant reset trick a step further, if you don't mind using an exploit, there's the Khajit merchant in dawn star. She's the only merchant I know that has this issue and it's still in the 360 legendary edition post final patch. Her merchant container isn't buried in an inaccessible cell like most merchant's. It's hidden in the ground by the entrance to the mine. You can abuse the reset glitch just the same on her, but don't need to purchase the giant's toe etc, as a bonus, you get to take the gold from the container.
something else you can do if you don't mind exploits is the fortify restoration-fortify alchemy loop (formerly fortify enchanting-fortify alchemy, but that was nerfed soon after release), since the amount of experience you get per potion is based on the value of that potion which is based on the number of effects, the occasional multiplier from ingredients, and the intensity of the effects, once you're crafting potions with intensities that aren't really functional you'll be raking in more than enough to just max alchemy out after making it legendary by making one potion.
also, if you paralyze someone then when they're getting up you can pick their pockets with guaranteed success. (edit: this is relevant because the first bit of advice in this video involves pickpocketing)
he needed to get the gold back each time he leveled up, more gold equals lower chance, if he did that the chance would be probably 30% or smthn like that, not impossible at least
The problem is the merchants in skyrim are poor as fuck so making 100 potions worth 1000 gold each is fucking pointless cause you'll spend forever resetting shops and traveling everywhere to sell them
yes this is one of the biggest problems with skyrim. merchants don't have enough money, and this totally sucks, just a huge unnecessary hastle. i have probably spent 30 hours of in game time selling my stuff. and no, i don't want to do the thieves guild quest.
You don't need to sell the potions. You can always throw them inside a barrel and leave them there to get dumped by the game. You came here looking for an exploit to leveling alchemy and you're problem is that you can't sell all the stock?
When you sell potions that cost more than 100,000 gold it makes your speech increase really fast. Thanks for the awesome videos ESO. And, thank you for speaking slowly and clearly. Everyone else sounds like they drank 10 cups of coffee.
One of my faves is Swamp Fungal Pod + Canis Root = Poison of Paralysis. Plant them at you house, where you build a green house in it. Collect every three days and store in your house. Worth a good amount of money and they regrow so you never have to worry about finding them afterwards.
Any alchemy upgrading combinations thats good using growable ingredients only? Growing things is really fast and gives a lot of the item and extremely easy with the hearthfire dlc
Year late but fuck it. Combo of Mora tapinella, scaly pholiota and creep cluster is the best I've been able to find. It's about 2/3 of the value of the giant toe, wheat and creep cluster one.
Hopefully people will read this - Alchemy is probably the profession out of the three that takes the longest time to level, Enchanting is debatable as you just need a way to trap souls as early on as possible. However, to help with buffing up Enchanting, you can get an enchantment called FORTIFY ALCHEMY, which helps boost the power of your potions and gives you more skill points. I am not 100% sure on the Special Edition, but in normal Skyrim there are Hide Bracers of Alchemy at the Halted Stream Camp which is quite close to Whiterun, the bracers give +15% to alchemy and are very light to you can keep them on your person until you get a home to store them in, it's basically a 15% boost to improving up alchemy, if you are a higher level and have decent enchanting, you can disenchant these bracers for the buff, and apply it to more than one piece of armor to give you more then 15%. Just equip the bracers/items you need whenever you do a large patch of alchemy. I'd recommend you actually do LARGE batches of alchemy, not small ones as that way you can easily figure out what ingredients are what.
You can even make even simpler! Just enchain Fortify Alchemy enchaiting on items (level of enchainting dosent matter), and simply create potion of Fortify Restoration. Items: Abecean Longfin, Cyrodilic Spadetail, Salt Pile 1. Put on enchained items on your self. 2. Create a potion. 3. Take off items, drink potion and put it back. 4. Repeat (around 10 times, or more), until prosentege of your potion will be someting like above 300%. You will leveling your alchemy skill from 20 to 100 in no time!)
President of Mars 1st of all its barley an upgraded version, It's updated, Yes but not greatly upgraded. 2nd, The game came out in 2011, Over 5ish years ago and it's priced at $60. It's still very glitchy for a "remastered game".
ThePudgyBudgie If you're still wondering, dwarven arrows are the easiest. You can get a bunch of ingots from any ruin by collecting scrap and melting it. The blacksmith in Riften has a wood chopping block by it.
Side Note: You can level alchemy a bit faster if you do the ‘Lost of The Ages’ Quest and craft the Aetherium Crown. This is where you can have both the Thieves Stone (20% for Thief Skill Line.) and the Lady Stone (15% to ALL skill trees.) together. And along with Well-Rested bonus for a total of gaining 45% skill leveling. Or even better marry a NPC, you particularly like or a random person, and sleep with them in your own house (Hearthfire DLC.) to gain ‘Lovers Comfort’ for 15% additional leveling for a total of 50% skill leveling. Also Don’t equip the Aetherium Crown while resting a owned bed, for Well-Rested and Lovers Comfort, take it off then sleep and re-equip it. The game for some reason won’t give you the Well-Rested bonus when you do this.
Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure the lady stone overrides any of the rested bonus’. Therefor it’s only a 15% + a 20% for the Thief stone. Totalling to 35%.
I like the blisterwort+giant's toe+wheat potion. It also benefits from more perks from the alchemy tree, which makes it stronger. At level 75 alchemy, the potion costs around 2200 gold
My son just started playing Skyrim. I'm so glad you put together these guides all those years ago. I'm able to help him out quite a bit. They are still helping tons! I'm now binge watching all your Skyrim guides.

So cool. I've played through skyrim many times and have to say, it's always fun to find new ways to play it. With mods, even more ways 😁
You’re a cool dad
I can't wait to teach my son about skyrim
and here i am, a level 76 trying to figure out how alchemy works
Dardan Berisha What did you do to get to 76? I am 72 and there is nothing, absolutely nothing for me to do anymore in the game. I did every quest and found all location long ago and there is just nothing in the game anymore. Do you have any tips? I want to reach level 80 so i can fight the ebony warrior
Ronald Rockmann i made the alteration skill legendary 2 times
Make skills legendary and start training skill from beginning
I'm level 179 and still learning new things...
LubieżnyPurcel Ok, lets say i reset one-handed to 15. And then? What can I do? There is just nothing. Any tips?
1st Potion - Wheat, Giants toe, Creep Cluster.
2nd Potion - Luna Moth wing, Namiras Rot, Chaurus eggs .
@Ryan Trott That last tip doesn't apply to players who don't play on Anniversary Edition or use Creation Club, which is actually a ton of people.
@Ryan Trott if you have hearthfire dlc you can build a house by helping falkreath jarl and you can also make a garden for you house
wheat, creepcluster, giants toe
Chaurus egg, namiras rot, luna moth wing
He listed both of those recipes. Also, the giant's toe one isn't even the fastest. Fastest (without Hearthfire installed) is giant's toe, bear claws, hanging moss.
RedLine weed
Bear claws are very random and slow you can find creep cluster and wheat much more easily without growing them
salmon roe, garlic, nordic barnacle
Im playing this again in 2019. Told the wife i'll see her in a few weeks.
Just started my own playthrough again not long ago as well. I'll see your wife in a bit too. (Jk enjoy your adventures!)
I am doing the same and i told her the same lmfaooo
Must be nice to have a wife...
I remember when this SSE was announced, I told my family I loved them.
Same, my wife hates it when I play, I literally play all day when I get back into it.
I like how you say it's a Level 1 guide, but you had a 0% chance to pickpocket your gold back at Level 1, so you leveled your character to level 6 and got your pickpocket up to 42 and then went back and tried again when it was a 55% chance.
JimmyKhanway GOTTA GET THEM VIEWS WOOO WOOO WOOOO
I have to agree, but I also feel the need to point out he also showed to pickpocket while they were asleep if you couldn't while awake. I believe he did that simply to be able to show the other method on camera.
i spent about 45 minutes trying to pick pocket her while she was sleeping and failed everytime lol
yea, first method didn't work for me, but second one (after 5 hrs collecting) lvl 17 to 100 in like 2 minutes.... Insane!
well he just did that to show you a faster method you can do it on level 1 by training alchemy 1 level at a time so the amount of gold isnt too high to pickpocket

A couple of things should be noted:
1-stealing your gold back from trainers can be extremely difficult unless your pickpocket skill is godly and you have some perks invested.
W but pickpocketing level is super ez
4:26 "Collect as much weed as you can."
😂
6 seconds too late, damn!
-JAMES IS THAT A WEED??-
LMFAO
Just stockpile it all
There's an even more expensive potion you can create Salmon Roe with either Histcarp and Jazbay Grapes, or Garlic and Nordic Barnicle
Don't forget to also enchant _Fortify Alchemy_ on your clothes as well. Another nice buff.
Yep. He failed to mention that…with his weird English speech impediment, I’m sorry but my god is his voice terrible

U helped me zo much Ty got to leven 100 in no time with this
At the beginning of the game, instead of doing the main quest, become the Thane of Falkreath. That's the easy one. This opens up Hearthfire (house with two growing areas). Grow stuff to make potions that you actually use and sell. It's plenty fast enough.

You neet
1. Mora Tapinella
2. Scaly Pholiota
and 3. Creep Cluster
and the best
You can grow ALL of them at your house
Maurice Ide, how do you plant stuffs? i have a whiterun house but I dont know how to plant stuffs
Salmon roe, garlic, and Nordic barnacle
6:00 Giant's Toes and 1 daedra heart can be found in jorrvaskr in the basement area
Might be a good idea to start off with the second potion first. Giant Toes are pretty expensive in stores, and they're not an enemy you can kill early on.
Much faster and easier recipe for leveling Alchemy: blue mountainflowers + blue butterflywings
I always remember "blue blue bone." Blue butterfly, Blue Mountain Flower, and Bone Meal. Easy to find ingredients, and not a bad money maker.
Creep cluster + scaly pholiota + mora tappinela = more efficient and you can grow all of it in your home all you gotta do is just wait 2 days (in game time) for garden to grow and pick them then wait again

Robin van de Belt
Not if u know where to get it
Much faster than making random potions/poisons from ingredients you found randomly while exploring, which is what most people do when they start off.
Namira's rot, chaurus eggs, luna moth................ Wheat, creep cluster, giant's toe
im moving house tomorrow so i have no internet for 16 days..

I return to this video once again after four years. I just bought anniversary edition, spent four hours modding it and now I’m playing Skyrim again.
There are also other power potions:
-Blue Mountain Flower, Hanging Moss, Lavender
-Fly amanita, mora tapinella, dragon's tongue
Ofc, there's like 50 more but those two are very easy to make.

It's funny how i always come back to this video whenever I start a new run
You cheeky ESO! I saw your cut from Lvl 1 to Lvl 6 from training Pickpocket to steal gold...
how are you even able to steal your gold back? I don't even know how you even got 50% steal rate when im constantly at 0.
Skyrim is patched so you will always fail to steal the gold back. My op character can't even steal gold back.
He did some trickery and good editing. If you look at the first time he tried to steal the gold back it showed at the bottom he had a 0% chance to steal. Then he "reloads" and has a 55% chance. Yeah he's on some bullshit for that one.

To beginners: If you're going on an expedition to hunt Creep Cluster, take the opportunity to grab Jazbay Grapes too. You'll need them for one of the fetch quests, and you might as well be prepared.

For anyone whining about collecting the ingredients, just search up how to duplicate items and that will help you.

Enchanting next, please.

Doesn't powerleveling skills like alchemy and pickpocket skew the difficulty of the game? I mean, you're like level 15 but have not combat skills...
On top of that, if you're going to use tricks like this I'm going to guess you'll also use the one for your chosen weapon.
pickpocket or other useless skills will fck u up,but Alchemy has OP potions and poisons so even someone with horrible fighting skills can still overcome his enemies...rly you only need Paralysis potions and you can destroy most enemies..Slow is also amazing.
just use mods that delevel the world and enemy or something
I love your guides and the way you talk slow, as a non native speaker it helps me a lot
I killed arcadia.
I love your videos, you have a nice voice :)
you forgot to tell them that they need to eat any new ingredient they find. it reveals the first of 4 potions it can make, and it also levels your alchemy.
Don’t forget the dupe glitch to get as many ingredients as you need!
Anyone notice he has a 0% chance of getting his gold back
he needed to get the gold back each time he leveled up, more gold equals lower chance, if he did that the chance would be probably 30% or smthn like that, not impossible at least
The problem is the merchants in skyrim are poor as fuck so making 100 potions worth 1000 gold each is fucking pointless cause you'll spend forever resetting shops and traveling everywhere to sell them
You got the thieves guild fences. You have 4 to choose from, each with 4000 gold.
yes this is one of the biggest problems with skyrim. merchants don't have enough money, and this totally sucks, just a huge unnecessary hastle. i have probably spent 30 hours of in game time selling my stuff. and no, i don't want to do the thieves guild quest.
You don't need to sell the potions. You can always throw them inside a barrel and leave them there to get dumped by the game. You came here looking for an exploit to leveling alchemy and you're problem is that you can't sell all the stock?
Rich merchants mod. Lol

🤦♀️
Items: Abecean Longfin, Cyrodilic Spadetail, Salt Pile
1. Put on enchained items on your self.
2. Create a potion.
3. Take off items, drink potion and put it back.
4. Repeat (around 10 times, or more), until prosentege of your potion will be someting like above 300%.
You will leveling your alchemy skill from 20 to 100 in no time!)
Downloading skyrim right now lol
Ole Brumm I don't think it's worth the money, But I still got it
Vladimir Putin same not worth the money but i still bought that shit
Obama Shall Rise Again x why?
President of Mars
1st of all its barley an upgraded version, It's updated, Yes but not greatly upgraded.
2nd, The game came out in 2011, Over 5ish years ago and it's priced at $60. It's still very glitchy for a "remastered game".
Hey ESO is there a way to get enchanting to 100 fast? And if yes will you make a video about it?
Thiseas Velissaridis not that im aware of, as far as i know it takes about 440 enchantings (i.e enchanting a ring or what ever) to go from 15 to max
Thiseas Velissaridis make a bunch of golden rings and small soul gems and enchant them all
Just create a ton of iron daggers and enchant them with banish daedra (any soul gems will do)
Thanks :)
Thiseas Velissaridis make glass twohanded axes & enchant them withbanish instead ;-)
Can you do a video about 100 smithing?
ThePudgyBudgie he has
Where? O-o
ThePudgyBudgie If you're still wondering, dwarven arrows are the easiest. You can get a bunch of ingots from any ruin by collecting scrap and melting it. The blacksmith in Riften has a wood chopping block by it.
hey eso. do you have a method for enchanting?
the way I do smithing is just making iron daggers. lol
Side Note:
You can level alchemy a bit faster if you do the ‘Lost of The Ages’ Quest and craft the Aetherium Crown.
At level 75 alchemy, the potion costs around 2200 gold
another is bear claw , hanging moss and giants toe
