Nearly 14 years later, Claire Curzan is representing the USA - and the Triangle - in the Tokyo Olympics, which starts this week.

My boys went to Dr Curzan when they played football at Cardinal Gibbons. What a wonderful person. And now it’s beyond exciting to see his daughter in the Olympics. As a swimmer myself I hold athletes like her in deep admiration. I will be cheering her on from Raleigh tonight #TeamUSA
