Scottish TeeVee when I was 13 years old I packed my knapsack pulled on my button fly Levi's my cult t-shirt my jean jacket and hiking boots grabbed some bills off of my parents dresser and was out the door ready to go find Ian. I had absolutely no idea how I was going to do it but my plan got blown out of the water when I realized I couldn't leave without my dog and went back to get him and I walked in the door to to Furious parents who wanted to find out where the hell I was going and why I had stolen their money. LOL curses my plan was spoiled all because of a young girls love for her dog. There is nothing on this planet more powerful then a teenagers love for a gorgeous frontman or her dog. When he cut his hair I cried for days. LOL thanks for the Memories.
Small world he mentioned visiting family in Vancouver and that's where I'm from. I got it confused it sounds like he has family in Halifax and they recorded in Vancouver. We ever really popular recording studio and I believe it's called Blue Mountain I wonder if that's where they recorded. I know Aerosmith has done a lot of their albums out that way I believe I could be way off. So many years ago LOL
Ian was one of the most Bohemian stage acts there was, great raw very controlled vocals and backed by a great band, they were a tremendous force. I know this old American loved them!!!
SAW the CULT in 1989, I was stationed in Germany. Saw them open for Aerosmith in Boblingen. Great live band. Few months later i went back stateside, and saw them as openers in IOWA 1990.
