    Works with cases! Just remove the rubber grips on the edges. I use it with the S23 Ultra in the case

    Haptics won't work with Pixel 8 pro - Razer won't support newer handsets just ones listed on site.
    Just had a crazy conversation via email with the Razer CS team.
    After speaking with customer service, the VIP team confirmed to me they won't support the Pixel 8 Pro and V2 PRO will NOT work with future handsets, only ones released before the product. Never heard anything like it from a hardware company and new product.
    It DOES work to control games just not the haptics, but since haptics are arguably the big selling point with V2 pro something to consider when looking at models.

      This device is ok; but the gamesir x2 pro (the PRO, not the base one) is honestly superior. The joysticks on this are basically joycons and thats not a good thing. It works; but we have to do the "for how long" dance. The x2 pro is the same cost and is genuinely a more superior product. The base x2 is kind of janky in comparison

      @@FFE0 what about? been rockin my x2 pro for a month; play it 4-5 times a week, its been flawless for me. Though I will say I *ONLY* use it as a controller; I know some people use the software stuff that comes with these things as a DRM (ala steam or uplay) , and I cant/wont speak for that aspect of the user experience. As a controller though, its been flawless for myself.

      @JgHaverty the triggers were acting weird, especially the right trigger. Yeah, that was the issue with mine. Everything else was fine. I'm glad yours is working great. (Also, it didn't help that the seller acknowledged the issue and said, "It's a factory issue," but decided to ghost me after that lol)

      @@FFE0 Not sure if it'll help you now, I DID see someone having issues with the hall sensors on the L2 R2 and they fixed it with the firmware update. I wish I remember where I saw it; but Im like 95% sure that was what fixed it for him. Seller is a scumbag for sure though

    I know I'm 4 mths late but let me say that it's not like they don't want make a kishi with better grip but because they have a product for it. Razer's Universal grip tape for mouse and even kishi can use it, why make a proper grip when they can earn more for an extra on the side.

    There needs to be a Bluetooth version of this. Too bad I can't use it with my fold 4

    • @just4justincase
      @just4justincase 11 місяців тому +7

      Why? That’s more hassles needing to separately charge the controller, plus you’re giving up zero latency from the buttons and sticks. It would also add extra weight due to needing a battery. And it should work with foldables just fine.

    • @Tiralful
      @Tiralful 11 місяців тому +2

      @@just4justincaseHe's talking about how when you insert the fold (any version) the phone hangs out the bottom rather than the top so it can be annoying and weird. The Game Sir x2 is the only USB c controller that doesn't look stupid with the Fold because the USB c is on the left side. He wants a BT version so he can mount it "correctly" in the controller not because he likes charging it.

    • @gcforreal
      @gcforreal 11 місяців тому +5

      If you are doing any streaming I dno you really don't want to only be able to only depend on Bluetooth. Just my experience.

    • @leonwallace8646
      @leonwallace8646 10 місяців тому +1

      @@jjayala I've been using the Nacon MGX pro for about a year now in Bluetooth mode and to be honest the latency is imperceptible. Though it's the best option for the fold IMO, it can be bulky when traveling.
      I use it for Emulation and game streaming using moonlight. My network is robust enough that wired or wireless doesn't matter to me, so long as it fits my phone.

    Kishi v1 has horrible lack of back support for the phone, mushy buttons and is kind of ugly. Kishi v2 is amazing... until you touch the joysticks. Aka, the primary mode of engagement. The buttons are unbelievably small; but feel great. The joycon sticks feel so so so so so so so bad. Gamesir x2 pro completely destroys this device for the exact same cost lol. Im honestly so irritated they used such small buttons and the crappy joycons; this could have been such a huge win otherwise.

      @@theLuwieCat2.0 I am in possession of all 3 at the moment; its not even close. The fact the kishi v2 and x2 pro cost the same kind of make it a no brainer. The small buttons on the kishi v2 are pretty uncomfortable after 30 minutes as well; they almost like "stab" into your finger. You got the "good" one, its not even really that subjective beyond aesthetics. The analog controls and superior joysticks make it a nolo contendere winner in comparison. Its like razer doesnt even use their own products sometimes. Thank god for amazon's lovely return policy; as I am returning the kishis today lol

Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to add rumble to these things as its just a point of added expense for not a lot of value. As of this time, there are precisely 0 of these cell phone controllers that even have haptics installed anyway. The kishi's certainly do not.
