We were given the amazing opportunity to take aerial footage at this year's Burning Man. While it was a windy year, we still got the chance to capture some amazing art pieces in open playa. We hope you enjoy and please share!

It really amazes me how they can transport and construct such large structures. The cost must be just as amazing. I figure they make around 10 million off the event. They must spend close to that to import everything there. A real feat of logistics.
Great video ! I see you used a 4K drone to capture ... but the video here is only HD. Do you have a UHD version available somewhere?
+DronesOnVideo Thanks! We rendered this video out in 1080p, so we don't have a UHD version. We have a newer aircraft that shoots an even better 4K image, and we hope to be allowed to fly again at next year burning man.

Great video! Congrats on getting the chance to fly out there. Did you happen to get any footage of Dreamland (the spinnable, white carousel-style thing surrounded by 3 white lamp posts, all of which poofed flames and were covered in LED's?), which was located at approximately 11:10 and 2200 ft?

+gronker2 That was the original plan, but actually were standing far away from the art, and just flying via the screen. Keeping the art pieces in the middle of the frame. Our pilot has been flying RC aircraft for a very long time now.

why is it called LA PLAYA? is there some sort of body of water to justify this? DESIERTO would seem actually correct. or does it FEEL like a playa?

Also I would add most of their labor force works for free just to be there. I mean where do you get so many to come to you and not have fights and theft issues. Just mind blowing. I would one day like to go but am crippled and poor. I doubt I would last one day out there in that without emergency 911 call. I went to OZzyfest and almost died and had to go home I was so sick. Life or death basically called there because I wanted to see Ozzy really bad so yeah never go to a day event'

I just wonder...where's the dust?? Beautiful vid but also higly 'unreal': 60% of the day time hours were 'inpenetrable'...:-)
+Edward Calais We are unable to fly when the conditions are "impenetrable". We were however able to fly in the early mornings, and late in the nights when the wind would die down for a few hours.
I just thought to myself, 'where do they get the electricity from... and then the penny dropped...' Doh!
Matt Male we don't have a generator at my camp, so we use positive energy to cook the food!
