I’m definitely trying this out. Im a guitarist, but as a songwriter, it’s all about the song. To decrease the workload in certain areas like the acoustic guitars by using the keyboard sitting right in front of me or use the automated features for a basic strum can be a godsend.
Bro when I turn on the metronome in my daw, the melody that I clicked in with my mouse, they kinda have a natural delay to them…but I’m trying to get each note to play on beat..anyone know what that’s about?
The positions you played on Martin and Taylor are different, higher positions warmmer sounding, the lite version doesn't have samples on high positions.
9:40 this comparison shows there’s a good reason for both. The effects and stuff that comes with premium can’t be beat but something about the Martin sounds a lot more realistic. Not sure if there’s a release setting or something that I’m missing but that was very realistic and real sounding. While the tone was a lot better with the Taylor. I own a Taylor myself and they’re lovely haha Was that in something you were playing that it sounded that way or a difference of release or that’s the way the plugins just are? Great video man thanks I’ll probably pick these up soon
For sure, there are reasons to own both. Two different sounds. It's interesting you say the Martin sounds more "realistic." I take your word for it considering you own a Taylor, so you're used to what sounds real and what doesn't. For someone like me, I typically ignore whether or not an emulation plugin sounds like the real thing. 10 times out of 10, imho, they don't. So I simply ask myself does it sound good for my style of production vs. does it sound real. I think that's mainly because I see myself more as a sound designer than a musician. In terms of the comparison, these were compared with both of their default settings with the fx turned off. You totally can get more fret noise, release, fret attack etc from both of these guitars. However, the difference you're probably hearing is the stroke noise. Stroke noise isn't on default for the Taylor, but it's enabled on the Martin! (didn't notice until your comment)
I got the Lite installed yesterday and it seems to me that in the Lite version it samples only the first 4 frets for all strings except for the high E string.
Hi I downloaded AG Taylor but its saying "Loading samples failed. Plug-in will not make sound." Can you please tell me what to do? I would like but I wanna know try it first with 7 days trials.
Follow the library install instructions. Sounds like you only installed the plugin. I don't have those instructions. Email support if you're missing those instructions. That should be exactly why it says loading samples failed.
Great tutorial again. I like this method of comparing two guitars. I have the free vst but I'm looking to buy an acoustic vst, just taking my time to decide which one I like the best. 👍👍
I personally prefer the Taylor. Just a more neutral sound to me. The Martin is overly bright default, but can work well with eq for trap. Sometimes bright acoustic guitar can work too though! But it's the Taylor for me.
Just got the Taylor!.. But the timing of my melody in the piano roll doesn't quite match the metronome.. The melody sounds a little faster.. Do you know why?
whenever i save a pattern and i start dragging and drop it keeps the last ..and its been pretty confusing so how do you copy a full pattern into the daw
I'm not sure what your definition of study is. I think when I listen to music, I'm always studying. But if you're asking if I take or took piano lessons, then no. I did learn traditional music theory in college though. But that was years after I already taught myself with piano.
Not gonna lie, premium one sounds more professional and studio like whereas free version sounds more on the live side and TBH... i liked the free sound when you changed reverb settings 😂😂
I tried the free LITE version and like he says, the Strum mode is missing. The free version does not have a strum select menu, only finger mode; hence you need to pay for the comprehensive version.
To be honest... I don't need any effects, I already got plenty of EQ, Reverb, Compressors, etc. I don't really understand why they put so much of that into a VST instrument.

Does this work on Apple M1 laptops?
Bro nah he a Richard for not replying to the goat

Kang Kane ah makes sense!
Who else closed their eyes and started floating when he first played the Tailor 3
great video.. would love it if you put out more content on this plugin for non guitar players

I'd like to ask if it is possible to drag our piano roll to the riffer
Save your piano roll as a midi file and import the midi file into riffer with the file options in riffer.

@@Inflightmuzik I downloaded AGMII free 7 days trial and no more error pop up but still doesnt make any sounds. Any work arounds? Thank BTW.
Which one of Ample guitars is the best one for Juice/Iann dior type beats/melodies?
Hi, great video! Do you know if the free version of Ample Sound Guitar can be used for commercial projects? Thank you
Yep
Great tutorial again. I like this method of comparing two guitars. I have the free vst but I'm looking to buy an acoustic vst, just taking my time to decide which one I like the best. 👍👍
Phil Witteman Happy to hear that! Let me know which you decide to go with!
For trap beats, would you recommend the AG Taylor or AG Martin?
I personally prefer the Taylor. Just a more neutral sound to me. The Martin is overly bright default, but can work well with eq for trap. Sometimes bright acoustic guitar can work too though! But it's the Taylor for me.
What do you think of the Gibson in comparison?
I don't have a way to compare and electric to an acoustic because those are two completely different sounds. I wouldn't compare them.
Thx..I'll get the light for now and use proq3 and and delay pluggin and see what happens. Great video, right to the point and honest..👍🏾..subed.

I remember it being finicky with this as well. Unfortunately you may have to adjust notes when doing this.
@@Inflightmuzik so back to drawing the notes :(
SOrry i dont know english which best?
Taylor 😊
I prefer the Taylor!
Premium sounds tighter
Can i ask u
Do u study music ( piano 🎹 ) ?

InflightMuzik oh okeey thank u 💜🙏
InflightMuzik cuz i like the way how u play the keyboard 🎹
sangat bagus very nice

How much is the premium version?
Somewhere around 150 depending if there is a sale going on or not
it´s all good
gotta agree with this comment here!
The free version has strumming mode. I know as I am using it.
