You'll understand the hype the pgr community has for this game if you try pgr itself. There is a reason for their excitement for wuwa. They know full well what kuro is capable of based on the great things they did in pgr.
Yeah, but at the same time the beginning of PGR is kinda rough. I'm not a new player anymore (I'm Lvl. 102), but I still remember how rough the beginning of the game was. Especially for other players, since unlike me other players DID NOT stay in the game long enough to experience all the greatness that it has.

same for me but I think they did learn from it, hence they decide to rewritten the 90% of the story just for CBT2 is a sign that they did care. They probably change a bit more for release but hey let hope this game succed.

I am so happy for Kurogames. They deserve the success and recognition, PGR is already good but WuWa? Has the potential to be my new favourite game. They are definitely going the right way with this. Already applied for CBT2!

@@blueberry7478 yeah watch out when you buy new phones, they lie, my phone is 6 years old now, when I bought it, it said 6gbs ram, but what they don't mention is 2 of that is for the phone itself, and some of it is taken up with services like Google, chrome, play service's and stuff, so that's another gb, in reality it's more like 3-3.5 gbs ram, it's fxcked up and false advertisement

The game looks amazing. Just the combat alone is enough to get me involved, but the world and characters look awesome too. It's gonna be hard playing both Genshin and Wuthering, but I am definitely gonna try. I can't wait for WW though. The echo system makes it a cut above for me. People will say it's "like Pokemon" (understandable, there are even "shinies"), but it's closer to a mechanic from Bloodstained, or GBA/DS Castlevanias: Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia, where you can collect enemy abilities and use them as your own. This is a rare mechanic in games that I absolutely adore.

Genshin and HI3 are my first gachas. And I thought they're the best in the industry on literally all aspects from the combat, to writing, monetization and player communication.
Until I played other gachas such as Punishing Gray Raven or Arknights. Hell even Reverse 1999 and Nikke. Wuthering Waves may be a competition, but when people realize how Kuro Games treat their players and their game. They might see WW more than just a competition.
Kuro deserves my money and support as long as they keep their feet on the ground. The only gacha game company I'm willing to spend. We shall see. And I hope Kuro will only change for the better.

man, i hope it really competes well with genshin. lack of competition is what stagnates a lot of things, and with competition both WuWa and genshin will be motivated to improve their own games to draw and retain as many players as possible.
I really hope it does. I haven't really played any of their games but it does look good and seem to have a solid fan base.

I hope they bring the F2P friendly gatcha from PGR to WW. I only spent money in PGR on coats or a weapon that I wanted for my fav characters. I got all characters I wanted from F2P black cards. ❤

PGR memory system is better. Guaranteed upgrades and the RNG from memory resonance is totally not needed for clearing content. It's a min/max personal optional goal.

This game is my most anticipated game ever since I saw the technical test.

If you want to know more about PGR and Kuro look for Rexlent a CC that is extremely well respected in the PGR playebase in both global and CN. He is even extremely respected by Kuro.

If it has endgame and load outs, I’m already switching games. If it has pgr monetization, then it’s a no brainer. Pgr is by far the most generous gacha and if it was open world like Genshin, I would have already been playing that game. So WW is already in the right direction to get a large amount of Genshin’s playerbase if done right. At the very least, hopefully, it will give Genshin that competition it needs for improving it.
As someone who just plays video games and just chill and relax I don't care about this competition, comparing, who this, who that, who better money wise, comparing

likely wont be a 3rd beta since its releasing before october this year. also all characters revealed in the trailer are in cbt2 and probably in the game at launch

Hyped af for this. Moved away from Genshin recently even though they've taken £2k from me haha. But im just a lil bored as its quite monotonous. Excited for this to bring some new gameplay to an open world anime game, and being Kuro games the combat will be ridiculously good, which is kinda mid in the previously mentioned game.

I have literally no idea what I got banned for on twitch... You didn't like me talking about Honkai Impact 3rd and wanted me to talk about other things too so I asked about politics because it is a really nice topic to talk about and I got banned because of it? What is wrong with that? I vote for TOP09 and even when other people vote for some extremist parties like SPD I like to talk about why they vote them and share some of the opinions. I have asked this same thing on discord and got banned there too. Could anybody answer me instead of banning me? What is wrong with that? I guess it is just that some mod that is a genshin impact player hates Honkai Impact 3rd players so much. What a pity that such a nice and kind streamer has such unresponsive mods.

It's healthy to have some proper competition for once, but the only thing I don't like about WW is how "taped on" the open world is. But that's a given and not inherently bad because the game is too combat focused.

Looking solid, but I highly doubt it will get even close to competing with Genshin. The world seems a lot darker, interface is a bit bland, the monsters have no personality. Overall, the world and characters just give off a less unique vibe than what Genshin has. It doesn't have that unique something that will appeal to the masses in the same way.
And genshin doesn't have content, gameplay, QoL and purpose. Your choice.

Wuthering Waves will be a good game from what I can see, but it's target audience will probably be smaller. The focus seems to be on more challenging gamplay and a less colorful world compared to Genshin, so I just don't see it performing similarly in terms of popularity. It's just not made to compete with Genshin.
It seems to be more targeted at the people who don't like what Genshin is doing.
Tbh WuWa imho has more unique enemies in its beta than Genshin had on its release. If and when WuWa makes it to 3 years, they would have improved significantly more that it is now.
Nah, the enemy designs are unique enough to separate itself from genshin. As for characters, they are unique enough to separate itself from genshin's designs and are even more detailed. Id say there's more personality coming from wuwa characters as they are more expressive with more vivid facial expressions.
