SPS that is coming out of Soulkeep isn't new, it WAS given out for holding Nightmare packs, but is now given out through the daily tournaments in Soulkeep.
100% true recollection of what happened in spl.
WOW!!! Excellent Video!! I started off manually playing Splinterlands and looking forward playing RankBattles/brawls/tourneys Then as things started to change, Splinterlands converted me in to being Pro-bot and now that we can't run bots in modern i rarely play now, iam more focused on land & buying certain cards to work land however my max budget is $15 every two weeks so i have been swap'n grain (just standing by😉)i only bought bout 20 rebellion packs & flipped most of the cards but iam boycott'n any upcoming packs/promos/ or anything that doesn't have to do with land-Iam now a renter! wooh! iam just a lil bitter cuz the people exploiting the system is Splinterlands themselves, previous employees or current employees😢
Great video. Nice to hear about your spl story and the games you played before that.
Hope the fan base is big enough to keep the lights on at spl. I still love the game. Also, I'm still buying some cards every other day.
That was a great recap of the whole SPL saga, friend gameboy. I, too, am here cause I enjoy the game first and foremost, card value and token value are not that important to me. Still buying cards daily. Bought about $50 worth of RB cards today for instance... ;-) Just $350 to go till I max the set.
P.S. Also how can you beat me in a brawl if we are in the same guild Psi? :D (facepalm).... :D
P.P.S. I made about EUR 1,500 selling stuff on the D3 AH. That was cool for sure.. even though it totally wrecked the actual game hence why it was removed...
Re your comment 36:00 I was in for the “earn” aspect of the game and I am still here as I refuse to sell at these price levels.
Don’t think that the majority of people left are collectors or because they love the gameplay. My guess is that most want to get out but not at current prices. 😢
Leagues were really important for the game. It gave specialists with smaller pockets a fun place in the ecosystem. This option is dead right now.
Ergo no place for beginners to enjoy the game. Ergo less people will come and stay with the game.

When assets are low nobody buy, everybody Is selling, when assets are very very High, everybody tryies to sell his house for 1 max card ... Cant understand this kind of people. ....
I never played any TCG games in my life before I joined SPL. I'm wondering what makes a card become valuable. I Believe it is in the utility, so my question sis...why is/was the Black Lotus so expensive? How OP is that card? I don't think we have a card that dominant for that long a period.
Idk, the difference in mtg and spl is that if magic goes belly up, you still can play. If spl runs out of runway, you lose everything. Thats what caused me to leave the game.
When did you start playing Splinterlands? nvm. I just heard you mention it. Turns out we joined at the same time.
Well time ago i want to reach 10k SPS. If It was gone to 1$ i would have a lot of Money. With this prices today i am fucking go for 1m sps. It needs to reach only 0,10$ and i am buying 2 tesla. I Will be Happy even with 1 tesla at 0,05$ sps.

Game cant be fun when i lose all the time. And game is and was advertised as p2e. Also , overtime , it should provide with reward cards and be more competitive which is not the case. Still missing majority of gold league lvl reward cards after 18 months of playing and chance of maxing them is non existant.
So it seems SPL failed to provide all 3 aspects of game to majority of people and that is why they left.
Another thing. Noone dispute your love for the game, and we love it too. But to spend 5k$ every year on it seems to be out of reach for majority of ppl. 7 years of best game ever made (Wow) was 750-800$ for one account. Just for reference.
