Mr Beast is growing faster than PewDiePie right now even though they are getting very similar views. PewDiePie has been the most subscribed creator on UA-cam since 2013 (T-Series doesn't count!) but can Jimmy Donaldson, AKA, Mr Beast overtake him in UA-cam subscribers?

How is Mr Beast growing so fast on UA-cam? Is he a genius or just really lucky?
The first thing he is doing is making incredible videos by being a perfectionist. Mr Beast wants every video to outdo his previous ones and this is why he keeps getting more views on youtube. If he uploaded daily he wouldn't have the same impact
The second thing Mr Beast is doing is building a team around his UA-cam Channel. He hires editors, thumbnail artists and script writers to ensure he makes the best videos possible. The likes of Chris and Chandler are also hilarious additions to his videos.
Finally, Mr Beast will overtake PewDiePie in subscribers because his videos have more universal appeal, they are enjoyed by everyone. PewDiePie makes great videos but he can't compete with Mr Beast's appeal.

Mrbeast on the other hand uploads less but gain a lot of views per vid. The reason why mrbeast will surpass pewds is because his vids reach out on people even who are not subscribed. And his content is general meaning anyone would enjoy it even people who dislikes gaming as well as kids and adults. This is an advantage because he can gain alot of subs without that many vids. PewDiePie's content is basically gaming and also for his already fanbase which makes a lot of people uninterested.
Mrbeast can surpass pewds but it if he did it would take a long time considering how long until he uploads new vids.

I been watching mr beast since his Minecraft intro reactions and i also own giant asian sticker i remember back in middle school (junior in highschool now) going home and watching him, if only i knew. Although i do miss his old videos, ever since the counting to 100,000 video i felt like his content changed for the better.
You’re video was so interesting because it states something that with eventually happen and it also makes you think that it really might happen. Thank you for putting out this video it really makes you think about things more logically. Mr beast creates more of a variety of content where as pewdiepie sticks with gaming quite a lot.
For what its worth I'm one of those people who spend a reasonable amount of time online learning and rarely ever subscribe to anyone. So far it's less than 10 I believe. Your one of them. You rock man. I can't say thank you enough for the knowledge. Totally committing to making it happen and grow this year. Now I need to figure out how to approach my niche, improve my editing abilities to use the strategies I've learned here, and get recording.

Idk how many ppl are subed to him on unused or alt accounts, but it's prob a lot. What I'm tryna say is for mrbeast to overtake him, he'd have to get into something big like that as well.

Mr. Beast uploads new content to youtube and gains many new subs every video. I have been following him when he had about 3k subs (not kidding) and now he has over 30 mil which is insane. He believes in quality over quantity. His vids are recommended because of the insane amount of watch time. An youtuber named ZHC is making videos like him with an artistic twist and has gained almost 5-6 mil under a month.

Pewdiepie's audience is much more loyal to him. Even if he tells them to make a second account and sub to him then most of them will do so. He uploads videos everyday. Many channels are copying him.

Well, there is a problem, a limit sort of, where at some point, the hype will top. Pewds top (alone) was during his 15 mil to 25 mil days. Of course not counting pewds vs t series. Same thing will happen with mr beast, but the question is when? I think it will be at 85-95 million. Then, mr beast will have to change his style again, where he can gain the attention of newer audience. Pewds is growing at 11 mil per year at the part of his career where the hype is not at its vertex.
