While everyone is doing a comparison video to promote the new flagship but you are doing it for real stuff! That note 20 ultra image quality is sick!!! And iPhone video quality also! Amazing review! Thanks !
Great vid! A comparison for night time shots was needed! I'm a bit confused when it comes to the iphone though. You say there's a 2x optical zoom, yet on Apple's website they advertise a 4x optical zoom.
Yeah they are looking at Zoom “range” from ultra wide to telephoto. It’s extremely confusing. Just know this. The 12 Pro has 2X optical zoom and the 12 Pro Max has 2.5X optical zoom.
Great comparison! Pixel 5 nailed it if you consider that it costs half of the price of the others competitors. It's a pity that Pixel phones are not available in Brazil. 😔
Not a bad comparison! however when you look carefully into some groups of photos, you will find the focal planes are not identical. Such as the group at 2:20, pixel 5 focused on around the trees, iphone focused on the grass, how can you tell the samsung was the sharpest through the comparison of the building zone?
That's the thing, pixels have always been known to have the most consistent shot. If you need a "point and shoot" that will nearly always give you a desirable shot, many reviewers have said, pixel is that phone (over the years).
Had the 4 XL. Have the Note 20 Ultra. I know what you mean, but I'm super impressed with the Ultra. Light years ahead of my last Note (9) , photography wise. I've taken some pretty epic photos on this.
Hmm... sometimes the nightsky isn't all black and when you think some camera doesn't capture the black sky accuraly, it's possible the sky in fact isn't pitch black, lights of the city can light the sky a bit. So it can actually be more natural when it isn't all black photo of the sky.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I just want to thank you for your honesty. Great video and you were very truthful. One definitely can't make there decision off of the camera alone this year. Iphone video as always excels, and yes they have both caught up to the pixel but for the pixel to be able to hang with them at its price is also incredible. And quite honestly it's a surprise to see that samsung has caught up to the iPhone in stills. But I believe the pro max is going to do better in low light anyway due to the bigger sensor. Great video man, I may have to start looking to you for camera comparisons, I love honesty. Oh and by the way you have a beautiful family.
12 pro 128GB here where I live is about 1300$ and no, the 765G in p5 is still crazy smooth for daily use. don't assume it to be slow if you haven't used it before. Specs are overrated.
Its a tough competition, on occasions I found the Samsung or Pixel better than the iPhone. But unless you're shooting with 3 different mobiles a majority of people won't notice the small differences and should really just pick whichever mobile they prefer to use However the iPhone Max has yet to be released and imo that well set it apart for the standard wide lens especially with bokeh
It's sad that Google hasn't brought back HDR+ enhanced, which is a fast Night Sight mode and much better than Night Sight. Night Sight takes up to 7 seconds in extreme low light conditions with an exposure time per frame between 1/2 - 1s in such light conditions and often leads to slightly blurry photos unless you stop breathing for 7 seconds whereas Pixel 3a's HDR+ enhanced takes up to 2.5s (or 4 if you zoom) with an exposure time per frame of 1/5s in such light conditions and produces sharp photos all the time with a similar noise performance as Night Sight. HDR+ enhanced can give you as bright results as Night Sight in nearly all light conditions, if you use exposure compensation.

Im not an Apple fan but Although the main lens is excellent on the Samsung, I would argue that it’s worse overall colour accuracy and dips in photo quality and consistency when changing between lenses is an issue for me with the Samsung, and also you just can’t beat iPhone video quality, no one comes close right now, and also the iPhone and pixel have just come out and has little to no software updates to improve potential processing quality or issues.
Am I the only one who loves both Apple and Samsung?
I'm the only one who loves all 3
No you are not, I gotta have both.
Nope
Nope
Nope
I preferred N20U overall, although I would want night more to have bit darker sky rather than turing night into day...
You can slide down the bulb, and the night mode will be less seconds
I think its not enough to say that pixel is "cheaper" among the three.
Note 20 - $1400
Iphone12 pro - $1100
Pixel 5 - $699
its literally half the price of note 20. and the differences are hardly noticeable
But price isn't just for camera in note20. While google selling its product only on camera and OS.
U killed it per usual thanks 🙏🏻 for all the efforts man
Majority of the comparison
Apple and Samsung: Head to head battle 🔥
Google: I'm here too 🥺
I feel sorry about Google! They deserve more!
I do not regret subscribing to your channel. Sir, your reviews are on point! Thank you for not being bias. God bless you!
Samsung nailed better dynamic range and noise reduction in night photography. Yet for the video quality, I'm for the Apple. 🙂
Overall: I would choose Samsung as it has the most flexible tool for my daily drive. P
Was waiting for your video....nailed it...thanks!
I cant wait to see the iPhone 12 pro max in action especially when Apple decides to give the new update to the camera software, this was a great camera test video btw keep up the good work bro 👍
HAHAHA and then the S21 appears beating Iphone as always 🤣
There not giving the iPhone any update are they???
@@MD-wz8uz they are silently I think. For example deep fusion was added and updated later and not right after the phone launch
@@Sushi_2297 last year s20 series didn't even beat 11 pro and s20 ultra was a disaster.
Only note20 ultra after a year is good enough.
Last year the best overall camera award went to the 11 pro max.
What the fuck are you talking about?😏

.
In the first night mode shot... Focus point is different for iPhone than others. It's not an equal comparison. IPhone is focused on then grass close to camera, while the other 2 phones are focused to infinity. You can tell by the non cropped and cropped images that focus is different.
Note 20 ultra💙
The dynamic range on Note 20 ultra is the best out of the 3, it's crazy how good it looks!! Google should switch to a newer sensor ASAP!
All phone camera's are really destroying it this year. Amazing job by these companies
Excellent ane extensive work as always Danny! Thanks for the effort
Pixel 🙋🏻♂️
Hi danny, love to see your comparison video. Hope you can do a 11pro vs 12pro comparison. Thanks
Can't wait for the low light comparison when the iPhone Pro Max comes out with its larger sensor. Then we will see who is the true low light king in 2020.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
Once again a huge 50mp RYYB sensor, made for night time photography.
Yeah the ban sucks but we are talking about a low light king in general.
@@CreatorViruZ sooo true, ive allways had Huawei and they smash it every single time. Sadly the whole google thing is really hurting them right now which does make me switch to either the iphone 12 Pro Max or the Samsung Galaxy S21 thats coming in january
@@CreatorViruZ Huawei has good back cameras but I can't say the same for the front. The front camera has some weird processing.
@@fishheist9902 I hate front cameras in general and won't use them since I'm ugly as fuck. I have to say, the iPhone's front camera is wonderful though.
2:55 Competing with the iPhone 12 Pro main camera hardware regarding noise shouldn't be difficult at all. Both capture a similar amount of light per time.
The only youtuber who doesnt tell which one is specifically better so that the decision is still up to us
While everyone is doing a comparison video to promote the new flagship but you are doing it for real stuff! That note 20 ultra image quality is sick!!! And iPhone video quality also! Amazing review! Thanks !
Yup my Note 20U be slapping my friends iPhones they out here waking up and throwng away their overpriced calculators called iPhones lol
@@dannywinget Ah thank you! This cleared things up. Marketing trick by Apple.
I do think Note surpassed Pixel in night photography. Almost every picture is better
Great comparison! Pixel 5 nailed it if you consider that it costs half of the price of the others competitors. It's a pity that Pixel phones are not available in Brazil. 😔
On the Pixel 5 you should use "super res zoom" instead of cropping. Anyway great compare
Didnt he say that the pixel just crops into the main sensor when zooming? That's literally what super res zoom is bro
@@propersod2390 you're wrong man
@@Xrzysioo when you zoom with the pixel it automatically uses an algorithm called "super res zoom" to make the zoomed picture better
@@propersod2390 really? 😆 I know about it. I had Pixel 2, 3 and 4. They cropped image, you can see they even didn't show zooming level on the Pixel
@@Xrzysioo why would he show the zoom level if it's the same as the other phones?
Not a bad comparison! however when you look carefully into some groups of photos, you will find the focal planes are not identical. Such as the group at 2:20, pixel 5 focused on around the trees, iphone focused on the grass, how can you tell the samsung was the sharpest through the comparison of the building zone?
This is very odd, I literally sold my Note 20 Ultra because the photos weren't as good as my Pixel 4 in everyday usage.
@@yourfaceistube I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the N20 Ultra. What made you make the switch from Pixel to Galaxy?
Nicely done Danny! Waiting for more....
I really liked your shoe collection... :)
I need a shoe channel 🤣
@@dannywinget Yes.
Hmm... sometimes the nightsky isn't all black and when you think some camera doesn't capture the black sky accuraly, it's possible the sky in fact isn't pitch black, lights of the city can light the sky a bit. So it can actually be more natural when it isn't all black photo of the sky.
Samsung's video is ok but it falls dowm in one department and that is Live Focus.
Oh and by the way you have a beautiful family.
dont forget that pixel 5 costs half price of iphone and is still amazing ( from an iphone user )
So 700$ is half of a 1000 dollars? where did you learn that math? And pixel 5 has a 765 so its slow af
@@apostle9209 in europe we pay for iPhone 1150 €
12 pro 128GB here where I live is about 1300$ and no, the 765G in p5 is still crazy smooth for daily use. don't assume it to be slow if you haven't used it before. Specs are overrated.
Amazing! Best night comparison so far!
@5:11 You have really good WiFE-Fi
🤣🤣🤣
That's what I waiting for! Thanks man!!!!!!
Pixel 5 too gud for the price asked. Best value overall.
OnePlus 8 pro vs iPhone 12 pro and pixel 5 next time, you always nail these comparisons
The audio recording on 12 pro has been improved.
Its a tough competition, on occasions I found the Samsung or Pixel better than the iPhone. But unless you're shooting with 3 different mobiles a majority of people won't notice the small differences and should really just pick whichever mobile they prefer to use
However the iPhone Max has yet to be released and imo that well set it apart for the standard wide lens especially with bokeh
Note for sure 👍
What do you think about results from note 20 ultra 865+ and exynos. Same photo quality?
For me pixel 5 win 😊
Really enjoyable video. You take great photos man!
I really liked the pixel's photos
