Metro North Increased weekend Hudson Line service to meet the heightened demand for Fall Foliage Day trips. On the timetable the extras would run from Oct 6 - Nov 10.
Funny thing is that 6211's horn sound like that since the beginning of Spring 2024. In my Shoreliner Comp Part 2 vid, 6211's horn was still a poverty horn but it sound better then than now.
Sweet autumn weekend catches of Amtrak & Metro North along side the Autumn Hudson Valley.
Awesome catches man! Keep on posting!!!
0:14 can’t believe they got the e-bell on the 208 I like it with the steel bell better
I figured all the heritage units had the e-bells installed but 217 still has its steel bell.
They’re all getting e bells unfortunately. Cab Cars included as of now eight cab cars have the e bell sadly.
It's a shame really. To this day, I still miss 6215's EMD steel bell.
@@1365Amtrak I agree I don’t know why they wanna add e-bells pretty much NJT got e-bells on most of thier ALP-46
🔥🔥
Thanks
MN trains #4815 & #4819 went all the way to Poughkeepsie and then deadheaded back to Croton Harmon
Yea, there's some errors I forgot to correct. Thx for reminding me.
Metro North trains #4811 & #4823 that short turned at Beacon deadheaded back to the city.
Most likely why I seen the same consist of (6121 & 230) 4 times.
Interesting 205 barely blew its horn lol!
Some operators can be like that.
Since when did they start running beacon trains and extra Poughkeepsie trains in the morning?
Great video though

Ngl but 217’s horn sound just like 230.
I wonder where 228 and 211 were. U basically saw all heritage units 40th and New Haven but no 228 or 211
No 228 was in the vid
Geez cab car 6211 has a terrible horn!
