Here's the weird thing. Both of them are ideal in the low register and need a _lot_ of work to not be terrible doing anything high. But while Iroha producers continually piledrive her into one ear-bleeding high-pitched song after another, I don't recall even _one_ such attempt with Merli. Why is this? Did Iroha and Yukari get all the "good" wildly-off-pitch songs, leaving nothing for Merli? It's a shame. This sounds lovely, but no one wants to do these kind of songs anymore.
(late reply) i think that mostly comes down to merli's unpopularity, so she doesn't get picked up by all the producers who really wanted a moe vocal instead
