Hi Fabric Mouse! I love your videos and I hope you keep going! Underrated as an informative channel so keep building that fan base! Love your sewing machine reviews
Necchi is great, I bought mine in Naples Italy, and for the price it works much better than any others of the same price range. The stitches are beautiful and the machine never gave me any problem. The buttonhole is quite nice too..
Hi fabric mouse I've just ordered mine today off yourselves, I liked your review video as you looked honest and trustworthy. . I've been after a new machine and I think this will be ideal.
I’ve been eyeing the singer heavy duty 4432 but after seeing this, I think I’ll get this one. Singer has mixed reviews while Necchi has positive ones. I’ve been into a sewing store as well and they proposed me This one. I’ll get it today 😻
I have had a number of vintage sewing machines in my life. real work horses..this necchi sounds just like them..it does not sound cheaply made but sound like a work horse. as a fan o Kenmore machines, that's awesome.
I see you have a sewing machine chassis (do you all it that??) featured in different videos, I was wondering if you can do a video that goes through how a basic seeing machine works and talk us through the different parts under the plastic case? Would make great content!
I ordered one of this jut today, I watched a lot of reviews and comparing videos Necchi Q132A vs Singer 4432, I think this has better motor, better pedal control. But I will test it my self when I get it. 😊
After watching this video, I just realise my q132a is reboxed, my sewing machine doesn’t have the original box as shown in this video, I bought it online not from fabric house. It’s a good machine, I mainly use it for light fabric. It gives you an industrial machine feeling.
actually a customer answered this question recently and I was unaware, on the bottom of the foot control three is a tine resister screw to change the foot control sensitivity. not in the manual but it works.
Pressure adjuster & needles are what you need to check and then handling. You need to support the weight of the fabric, the machine can’t pull it for you.
What types of feet and accessories can you get for this machine? I want to make clothes and toys, so I need a machine that copes with fur, and leather - one that takes standard metal bobbins, zip foot, walking foot at minimum and I assume you need a button hole foot for the 1-step button hole function? The more generic accessories the machine takes, the better, because I cannot get anything locally and most online shops do not ship to Cambodia, where I will be living in the future.
Hello, I really want to get myself a Necchi Q132a as a late birthday present; I've had a look at a few places and will probably get it from your online shop. I was wondering if you know when they'll be back in stock? Thanks!
Can you use it as your regular sewing machine or should keep my regular machine. Also will it go through sequin fabric? I;m assuming you need a strong needle of course. Thank you for your video
Yes this is a regular machine, as always you just need to be carful your needle isn’t bending and hitting the needle plate or bobbin case with that type of fabric, but yes controlled properly this will have no problem.
Depends on the work or the look you want but you should be looking for a leather Machine for that sort of thing, in my opinion this is about the best value Domestic Machine on the Market but it has limitations. If you need to cut crop you use a combine it doesn't matter how good of a car you have.
Get a leather specific needles and sew it,also leather can and should be beaten-flattened down when 4 layers and more...slow speed as more layers..longer stitch length as more layers, don’t pull and don’t push leather through ,can get specific walking foot to push down leather more. Then all should be ok really.
Hi, i been looking for a heavy duty sewing machine, at first i was considering on buying the singer one but after watching this video i think i might buy the Necchi one:))) however it's sold out now, are you going to restock again? Thank you
It’s an unfair question, the janome is miles better but it’s also out of the price range of the customers looking at the price of the NECCHI. If you can afford the janome there is no comparison but at the price of the NECCHI there is not another machine as good.
@@fabricmouse What makes the Janome hd2200 better? What makes it worth double the price? Because as far as I can see they are both solid metal machines and the necchi has a more powerful motor than the Janome. I want to by the best possible machine that isnt an industrial so that it is still portable, bitnit needs to be able to cope with heavy textiles. I don't like false economy,, and only want to buy something that will last me a very long time. I will save up for the right one! Please tell me why Janine is better!
@@georgiasimone3165 don’t look at motor power that means nothing. You want to get across a field you use a defender not a Porsche. 100 years of design and improvement in Japan makes a huge difference, a company that make there own machines and parts not use generic parts or white label factory with a brand stuck on it. Iv said it a lot, the NECCHI is good I don’t for the life of me understand how they can make it so cheep it’s a bargain. But the janome I don’t understand for the life of me why they sell it so cheep, people that use it would pay double for it it’s that good.
Both, I don’t know if any machine that is all metal anymore no one would be willing to pay for it. The old singers that were cost nearly 6 months wages new your not going to get that engeneering for a sub £300 machine. But you will get a much more modern one using new tech that is much more versatile than any old straight stitch model. If you need a full metal machine I would you look at a dual feed industrial or something but again it wouldn’t give you all the other features. Well designed Plastic has its place in the world.
@@fabricmouse this necchi has a metal frame in side but the outside panels are plastic. I just got one and it's pretty good. I need a walking foot for it - can you sell me one?
Hello, thank you for the review, i am very interested in purchasing this machine. My local sewing machine shops donot sell this machine, it only seems to be available online. Do you have any in stock at the moment? Also is it worth purchasing this machine if the local sewing machine shops do not service this machine? Can i service it myself or is it best in the hands of someone who has experience at this?
Im no professional mic handler so I wouldn't judge the sound from my video, its no more obtrusive than anything in its class. Nose can be reduced by going digital but any machine that still uses cams will be noisier.
Yes there is a lot of similarities, the Necchi does have more accessories and an extension table which would tip the Necchi in price but price shouldn’t be the reason to buy a machine. If you have a budget in mind we can help on the phone and find you the best machine.
Most things are but we only sell machines that have a metal chassis the same as all sewing machine shops. Only catalogs and Amazon that don’t have an engineer would sell anything less.

Can you review the Necchi Creator series? The C35 and C360?
.hej first I like too say that your videos is nice. I love too see you unboxing the Necchi NC-204D soon. thanks and take care/ Marie from Sweden
All the way from Sweden 🥰 Iv got so many videos planned but it’s always so busy in the shop I just need to stop time. Thanks Marie
Hi, do you know what bobbin size/type does it take?
Can it see through light weight fabrics?

This works well when the fabric is flat. How it works when there are thick seams in places on the jeans?
How does it do on sheer fabrics?
I’m not sure yet, it’s completely sold out even our demo so they must be doing well.

How has the Necchi been working out. I have the singer but lately is been acting up. I had it serviced but sometimes the bobbin side has skips.

@@fabricmouse haha Its a very good machine. Take care!
Hey! Have you tried shirring? What does the tension and stitch length have to be?
is there a way to slow the stitch down for going round curves and rounded corners or is it technic. the pressure foot seams to go real fast real quick
actually a customer answered this question recently and I was unaware, on the bottom of the foot control three is a tine resister screw to change the foot control sensitivity. not in the manual but it works.
@@fabricmouse how slow is stitch speed on the lowest setting, I guess?
Please my necchi sewing machine is not sewing heavy material I don't understand is it by setting

Would you rate this machine or q411a, over a janome 2522/hd2200?
No! 2522/hd2200 All day long.
Totally agree, the Hd2200 is a totally different class. If you can afford it get the janome.

Brother nv15 or A16
Will this machine work with a double twin needle?
I assume Yes,cos one comes with machine
Yes all machines that have a zigzag stitch can use a twin needle.
I've never seen double twin needles. Sounds great.
Hi. Do you think this Necchi model is better than Janome Hd2200? Thanks.
You pay for what you get. Spend £150 more the machine is going to be better.
Janome hd2200
Can this machine sew faux fur and minky fabrics?
Would I be able to sew veg-tan leather with this machine? Up to maybe 1/4” thick at the most?
Depends on the work or the look you want but you should be looking for a leather Machine for that sort of thing, in my opinion this is about the best value Domestic Machine on the Market but it has limitations. If you need to cut crop you use a combine it doesn't matter how good of a car you have.

You could do thin garment leather, but thick veg tan will wreck a domestic sewing machine. Quarter inch is very tough; best to hand stitch.
