I can see the fallout from possible Persistent Hangar bugs where some people might loose 500million credits worth of stockpiled cargo and materials because, hey, we're still in alpha, lol.
That's why they delayed it, because it was game breaking. I'll be surprised if they're even considering releasing it if it's not really ready. It's an instance, so it'll likely be the safest place in the Verse
@@hollywoodguy70 "I'll be surprised if they're even considering releasing it if it's not really ready.".... Have you met CIG? 90% of the stuff they release isn't really ready.
Personal hangars are my most desired new feature. I wish the apartment/living pod was off to the side of the hangar. So you could wake up and go to your hangar without a train ride
Hopefully they will had living quarters to hangers like in GTA online to achieve just that. Would love an apartment downtown in various locations and living quarters in various owned locations as well.
Soon(TM) the constant refrain of faith from backers and Devs alike!! It will come WHEN it comes, and among the ooohing and aaahing there will be moaning and groaning and THEN the response will be heard: "It's Star Citizen, Baby!!"
The personalized hangers are definitely a step in the right direction. Curious to see how the tech evolves once server meshing is properly implemented.
Really looking forward to the ironclad. It looks awesome! The only issue with it though is that it seems you can only fly it from the escape capsule thing, like the caterpillar. It seems fine for the smaller ships but its a shame you cant use the centre bridge on the ironclad
I had an M2 Hercules with LTI. Upgraded it to the Ironclad Assault for $5 prior to the price increase. Got a loaner Caterpillar. Now getting ready for all the cargo/hangar reworks.
I am not looking to start an argument. I prefer the Caterpillar because it is easier to fly and easier to load with cargo. The only downgrade I see is the inability to carry vehicles, unless you use something like a hill so that the vehicles can get in. That said, vehicle gameplay is not huge rn. I appreciate your opinions, and again, am not looking to argue. Have fun in the Verse :)
I honestly can't wait for the sight of seeing capital ships coming up. Just imagine calling a Polaris, Idris, Kraken or BMM and seeing it come up from below you, rising and rising and thinking: 'Howly my god that is enormous!'
Hangers are going to be so nice to have this persistence hangers. Make it feel like a real “base”. Wonder if that means the item banks are gonna be sorted with it as well…
I have been waiting for personal hangars for years. I am excited for them to finally be tested. It will make things so much nicer to have a hangar where I can take my time to figure things out and load up land vehicles
To be fully accurate, no one asked to be required to manually ship dozens of cargo boxes around by hand. Persistent hangars are cool and all...but I'd like a flight model that feels like I'm flying a powerful sci-fi spaceship, not a prop plane.
I just recently did a new PC build and tried Free Fly this time around again and fell in LOVE with this game! I tried it back in 2020 but that PC couldn't handle it unfortunately. I'm so excited to have the capability to play now. Haven't yet decided on which game package to go with as I'm in between on play styles.
I dunno. Others hear "pesistent hangar" and think "YES, what I've been waiting for!". I see it and think "Oh great, more 'All pads are full, please try again' messages."
the idea of personalized hangars are so cool, I can't wait to see my ship coming up the lift!! also on the Luna wolves give away, good choice on including a Connie, Honestly I loved my Connie andromeda, It was such a good ship, and it was my best multicrew mission runner. I had to melt it, for a corsair now Zeus MR, but part of me would love to have it as a permanent part of my fleet again especially while waiting for the Zeus.
I am excited for .3 and I do think it’ll be here early next month. Having my own little space in the hanger to mess around and have stuff persists will be really fun I think. And it’s very grounding and immersive to have those small scale interactions in the context of the immense sandbox of the PU. But that’s if it’s not buggy and the servers are reliable.
This current patch I've been able to recruit a few friends to play this patch and its been a blast so far!! It's fun watching us all fly around in our little ships!
I'm hoping that the work on the Retaliator modules will be the beginning of CIG doing the modules for the other ships that have them - like the Carrack and Caterpillar for example.
honestly the hangar and cargo updates are gonna be DOPE!!!!!the idea of a personal hangar just makes sense and that spirit C1 do look pretty juicey!! i love the ships that change configurations it's why i upgraded to the reliant Tana that and its got a dope shape to it.
This is what some* players wanted. I for one have been asking for stability and graphical quality improvements for years. So 3.23 has been a blessing in that regard. Moving the game forward from the 2012 graphics we used to have.
The Hangers are going to make life in SC 10 times better. Just the time saving, having everything to prep in one place. I just hope we can use it for a home like an apartment instead of using EZhab style accommodations, at least at your home port.
Looking forward to when the cargo system is dialed in. I know it's probably going to be awhile before the system is bug-free, but it's a complex and foundational system, and these things take time.
Persistent hangars are gonna be such an interesting but welcome change, cant wait to get my hands on it. The Q&A for the ironclad will also be an interesting thing to see, many people are holding off on purchases and such because of doubts for the roof.
This is the update I"m waiting for to start playing again. personalized hangars change *everything* especially those of us with large ships to load with snubs and vehicles.
The fleet was about 8k from the station when I found it, showed up as a cluster of white name tags that all looked like gibberish strings of numbers and letters, it didn't show what ships they were to scanning until i was fairly close also.
Please tell me that the changes to cargo also mean that when salvaging it doesn't just produce 1 SCU boxes out of thin air, rather you having to already have empty 1 SCU boxes with you.
Personalized hangars is going to completely change the cargo game, and then we’ll see engineering change multi-crew gameplay in 4.0. I’m excited to see how it all culminates!
The Ironclad seems like it would make a great Fury Pocket Carrier... but then I saw someone call it the Fatterpillar and now I can't help but see it as two Cats put together lol.
So when they drop the personalized hangars, I wonder if other people can enter yours and add to it or take away from it. It would also be cool if you can choose between different size hangars because you wouldn't want to run a marathon to your vulture just because you have a reclaimer? right? The freight elevators are going to be dearly loved and I'm sure hated when the elevator doesn't render in like some of the normal personnel elevators do. I didn't spend too much time on SC during ILW but I'm happy for the released ships/chassis and more so for the update.
Really looking forward to the cargo updates. Hopefully they make enough resources available to fill up larger ships, Hate to put fuel in a caterpillar for run I could have made in a Avenger Titan.
Ship and cargo elevators sure look promising to bring more immersion to the game. But they better be polished to not have any major bugs. And hopefully the tractor beam would be back to usable in landing zones.
There were a few things that caught my interest for fleet week. The only thing missing was a mid sized salvage vehicle. Vulture is just too small and the reclaimer is just too big. Annoyingly so.
I've enjoyed dropping into Invictus and doing a bit of "Will it fit" with the N-Ursa. Looking forward to continuing my adventures with new friend made during the Xeno missions & earning that new set of armour ( & receiving the Medi-Beacon to put in my new hanger). 😉
A nice surprise if they can actually deliver the persistent personal hangars. Looking forward to see if their is any reduction in server load or fps increase around large landing areas, by taking the groundwork out of common view.
Fleet week was fun. I got my self a nursa rover😀. I am waiting for the QA on the Ironclad. If the top door opens on the assault that is the one I am going to jump on. It was the biggest surprise of fleet week for me. I also feel like it might be a mini carrier at least the assault version of it. I also hope they don't rush 3.23.2. Let's hope all the major bugs are out before the release.
I‘m very excited for the personal hangars , but I hope that they adapt to new ships that are bought in-game (haven‘t heard anyone confirming or denying that)
Same here, lucked out on seeing the fleet with Polaris flying. Have done the Idris tour and watched a lot of fireworks at Major Legrange points while waiting for the fleet to show. 😳🤨😟
Can’t wait for personalized hangers , hopefully we get to use our hanger skins and little collectibles that have been collecting dust in my account for 10years
It was a good Fleet Week. Swapped out my hangar a bit. Diversified. Picked up more modular ships. Easier to keep 'em, since modularity is ramping up. And I'll recoup store cred once the modules can be bought in the game. Great stuff, Bored! Be well, Citizens! Thanks to all our service personnel for their sacrifices. Have a good Memorial Day! o7
Just recently came back to check out how the game has been going after my initial pledge in 2015 and it's pretty mind blowing how far it's come. Looking forward to what is next.
This is the patch I've been waiting for. When they scrapped it from the initial 3.23, I decided to just wait until this was out to try 3.23 in general.
For me the biggest thing about the cargo update is being able to reclaim bought items, meaning I don't have to worry about loosing weapons or armour sets to bugs... I can hear my wallet groan already.
I haven't picked up anything this fleet week.. mostly because funds won't allow it anymore... but also, i guess because earning ships ingame is plenty of fun. I'm really looking forward to the persistant personal hangars, so i can see my Reclaimer rise up out of the ground like a kaiju XD
really hoping they improve missile guidance soon to make the firebird more viable… right now, especially with mm, its extremely difficult to get even one kill with all of the firebird’s missiles.
I have to wonder if the need to Manually load Cargo, or at least wait for an automated timer to load ships will help break up the fact that Running Cargo in a C2 is such a large credit making 'meta'. As many doing it just for the cash might be too impatient to wait and want the fastest possible income.
Really looking forward to all the cargo loading/unloading. Especially minig gameplay gonna evolve with the saddlebags. I wan't a cargo ship following around with spare bags doing a big combined mission
Pretty excited for hangers. Wonder how that works at stations then. If you get your biggest ship hanger at your four main spawn points…would be cool if it could transfer to a station or you could have one station one planet (I mean all ships come with hangers and that’s a lot of hangers). Guess I won’t know till it comes out in live. As for ships that Ironclad looks really neat I can’t wait to see one from anyone that has it. Only new thing I picked up this fleet week was the Nursa but I’m excited for it even though I have no ship to fit it in. Haha. And why does the event always have to end like a day (this year) before my bday. LoL. Oh well. Good show this year. Lots of new things. Can’t wait for that patch!
I am looking forward to being able to customize the inside of our hangars with flair. My only fear is what happens if you get a bigger ship and you already have stuff sprawled all around your hangar.

LATEST STAR CITIZEN PATCH ALPHA 3.23.1 LIVE
NICE
I really looking forward to not seeing fleets of abandoned C2s around the spaceports anymore!
SAME
Same!!! I'm so sick of having to ram ships off of the hangar bays so I can fit inside and land. It's so stupid that they aren't auto-removed.
If I didn’t get CS for salvaging them. It would be done
Same here
YESSSS!!!
Man, persistent hangars are already one of my personal playable goals for Star Citizen. They can't come soon enough. Thanks for the video Bored.
I can see the fallout from possible Persistent Hangar bugs where some people might loose 500million credits worth of stockpiled cargo and materials because, hey, we're still in alpha, lol.
Keep alpha in mind when using time doing something - it will all be lost now and then
That's why they delayed it, because it was game breaking. I'll be surprised if they're even considering releasing it if it's not really ready. It's an instance, so it'll likely be the safest place in the Verse

Yeah have fun with escaping atmosphere every single time XD
So much this...I gouge my eyes out sometimes doing the boring transit rides that are virtually the same on every location...
When is soon Bored.....WHENNN
Probably some time end of june
lol
It’s: soon™️
That's always the question, and the answer remains "soon" 😂
PTU Evo this week from what I hear.
Soon(TM) the constant refrain of faith from backers and Devs alike!! It will come WHEN it comes, and among the ooohing and aaahing there will be moaning and groaning and THEN the response will be heard: "It's Star Citizen, Baby!!"
Hopefully they can get this patch through the PTU quite quickly as the hangars feel like they were the big piece missing from this patch.
As for me, better not to hurry, and prepare LIVE version to be playable. At the moment 90% current version is completely bugged and unplayable.
Agreed but we're already looking at .2 in PTU, we moved pretty fast through 23.1
The personalized hangers are definitely a step in the right direction. Curious to see how the tech evolves once server meshing is properly implemented.
The new Drake ship was a way to fund the set that will allow the Kraken to be built, imo
Not an opinion. It was clearly said to be just that.
No this IS an opinion, in my opinion.
yeah real early on they said the fat drake makes making the kraken easier
Your opinion doesn't enter the equation, it was actually a comment made by the devs, you tealeaf
They have 700 MILLION DOLLARS, they should have the game funded 10 times over 😂😅😅
Cool updates for 3.23.2, hopefully we don't get 3.18 again and get locked inside these hangars.
Eh, it's OK. I could probably spend the whole patch moving boxes around my hangar

So you have downgraded from a M2 to a pillar? Im in the same boat but keeping seperate ccus to keep my herc
Caterpillar from an m2 is such a downgrade. I would keep that as a CCU not use it right away.
I am not looking to start an argument. I prefer the Caterpillar because it is easier to fly and easier to load with cargo. Hangers, pyro, and engineering. I can't wait for these features to be implemented!
Can't wait to see what creative things people decide to do with their personal Hangers :D
I honestly can't wait for the sight of seeing capital ships coming up. Just imagine calling a Polaris, Idris, Kraken or BMM and seeing it come up from below you, rising and rising and thinking: 'Howly my god that is enormous!'
Rip BMM, likely will never see that ship in game
Bmm 2030 or later
Or ''how will i fly this solo''?
Star Citizen's community is the most welcoming I've ever been a part of.
Personalized hangars is gonna be glorious! I still remember way back when we had our Hangar module.
Watching this makes me miss the old inner thought menus.
Please let us set personal hangers to space stations CIG.Beltalowda
Yes…pleeeeeeease
They said you could purchase additional hangars in-game in later patches
@@AllTheBeef That's nice, I missed that piece of info.
The firebird has 24 missiles and can fire 6 at a time and the turrets on the retaliator were increased in size by 1. It was mentioned on SCL.

You're basically my primary source of information for SC. Its good to hear these updates.
I spent more than I wanted to, but a bit of it went to a third party to get a LTI MSR with the 2952 BIS red alert paint.
SO EXCITED for 3.23.2! I'm a cargo hauler at heart, so this is welcome news!

Hope they fix the duping problem. Super hyped for persistent hangars gonna make cargo so much more interactive.
Looking forward to the hanger update! Not needing to land and pull out ground vehicles will be amazing
Absolutely looking forward to the persistent hangars and freight elevators, even if the cargo missions are not in yet
Personal Hangers will make using ground vehicles more viable. Excited to actually use something like the Nursa
So excited for hangers! thanks for the info about incoming PTU builds

Looking forward to when the cargo system is dialed in. I know it's probably going to be awhile before the system is bug-free, but it's a complex and foundational system, and these things take time.

Looking forward to the hangars. Being able to unload cargo that can't be sold is going to be great. Will also allow for more strategies for trading.
Definitely looking forward to the personalized hangars and assorted systems that go along with them, should be fun.
9tails lockdown used to be my favorite event, but the Hercs are my favorite.
I'm looking forward to the personalised hangars, freight elevators, cargo missions. Personal hangar will have to do until base building :)

Clean up you slob
