OMG! I am getting one of those drill augers!👍🏻
Link in the video description!! Yay!! You’ll love it.
It’s coming along great!! Glad you all unearthed, quite literally, the hidden issues and were able to address them!
Thank you, we're really happy with how it's turning out so far!
I love these types of videos, not that I don't like your regular content. That drill auger is a must-have, along with the spike border edging. Who needs a membership to a gym? Just do what you guys are doing. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, and no worries, I get what you mean!! RE: gym....correct, don't need it. CG says he will always be grateful for our slope/hill to keep his body moving/active, like you do, too. BTW, you've got a new subscriber...
@@CaliKim29 Thank you, Cali. Gardening is a super great workout. Thank you for subscribing to my astronomy channel too.
MAC supervising is just gold, he is living his best life. I just met our new Shihtzu puppy today, coming home in 3 weeks, he will be our new supervisor along with his sisters 😊
LOL re: Mac. Yah, a new puppy!!!!! Do you have a name selected yet? K
@ I think we are going to call him Tim Tam (a famous chocolate biscuit here in Australia) and Timi for short 😀
Looking awesome Kim and Jerry looking forward to seeing the Finished Project
Stay tuned, Jackie!
That was fun to watch. You two work well together. Nice to see Mac. ❤️
Thanks for watching! Love working with Mac too! It’s a fun team effort-most of the time *wink.
Looking good. It looks way bigger now. I’m looking forward to the next phase. Exciting. 😊 I’m glad you found those roots pressing on your drip.
Thanks so much! Glad you're along for the ride! 😊 CK
Good progress. I like laying out the fabric when working on a new project.
So cool, I can’t wait to see the finish project , wow it would be so nice to see how to build a potting area, thank you CG for sharing Mac ❤ he looks so cute around, but I think he is supervising 😅
You are welcome and thank you, Vee for all the years hanging together. Yes, Mac is defintely supervising. We think he likes the feel of the cool soil.
Looking Good! 😊
Perhaps a couple of tips.
1) If you haven’t already done so, Take a photo of the area before placing in any structures. Print the photo, and use tracing paper to sketch out your vision of the final area. That way, you can visualize how it will look and avoid moving things around multiple times. And your‘final’ sketch will be a great reference during the build process.
2) If you have a flatbed dolly, or better yet a cart, please consider using it. It’ll help to save straining your body when moving ’heavy’ items.
Very good tips! I especially like the printing the printing the photo/tracing paper hack!!! Appreciate you more than you know! CK/CG
It’s going to look great. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing the potting bench area.
Thank you for the support! I am excited, too, it'll be a bit before the bench, but I can't wait either, Marcella!! CK
You've done a fantastic job this far. Very creative with a lot of work. Can't wait to see the potting bench and the finished project.
Thank you for the encouraging words! We'll see how it all comes together. The potting bench may be a little bit still! Thanks again - CK
@CaliKim29 , Looking real good, y'all! You're getting the handyman seal of approval... not that it means anything! 😂😂😂
One thing most people underestimate (even pros) is the importance of tamping those places you filled in. You may find your blocks begin to sink in that center and make a catch for small water puddles. A good polymeric sand between the block will really lock them in and help maintain drainage practically forever!
Thank you, we did not know about polymeric sand. I'll see if we can squeeze that in places - CK
@@CaliKim29 Read the instructions on the bag carefully. I get mine from Lowe's but they all carry it. Those instructions are extremely important to elevate the whole installation for STONEWORK. It may not be necessary for those tiles you are using.
Step by step, your project is coming along. At 8:29 in the video, the space behind you would be an awesome spot for an outdoor worm bin, have a few suggestions if interested.
You need to get Mac a foreman's hard hat, he is doing a great job keeping everything running smoothly.
Looking forward to the next episode.
Stay Well !!!!!
That's a great idea! It's been a while since I've done one! Thank you, I'll keep that in consideration. Yep, Mac's going Union-LOL! Thanks for being so encouraging, Brian.
Hi kim I just got my book from you I can't wait to read it😊
Thanks for your support, that's great to hear! 😊 Kim
I think your four legged helper there needs his own hard hat! 🙂
...and yellow vest with fluorescent tape!
Nice! That service looks flat! I need an auger! Lookin forward to the installation I'll be at WORK during the livestream tomorrow 😳
Thanks - we did some more work down there the other day and we some lumpy spots we'll need to smoothen out! All good. Hope you had a good day at work yesterday-you were missed - CK
