- Here is the tutorial for this 6 1/2 x 8 mini album. This album highlights the chipboard frames from Simple Stories. If you use frames from a different collection be sure to check sizing before making this one 😉. BUT you don’t need to use frames with this style. I used Simple Stories Simple Vintage Winter Woods Collection.

When I saw your videos for the first time, I was thrilled to see that your scrapbooking style was similar to my own. Finally, someone who wasn't perfect and was willing to admit it!! I set stuff down and can't find it, glue things upside down, make a small mess when crafting (and have to clean up frequently during my project), etc. I once had Wink of Stella explode all over an album I made for my sister. I also have OCD and am a rehabilitated perfectionist. Despite everything, you still make gorgeous albums, and I feel after watching your videos that I can do these projects too. Many scrapbookers on UA-cam are intimidating to watch, but you are a hoot and I totally enjoy your videos. Can't wait to see the next one!
Omg so sweet thank you for the kind words. I don’t care what anyone says every crafter makes mistakes. They don’t try to hide it they just try to make the videos the best that they can be for viewers. I just don’t know how to edit and don’t have time even if I did 😂. N I make the BIGGEST messes when crafting. I’m constantly cleaning but just one little project can mess up my entire room in 5 seconds lol 🤦🏻♀️. Yea the perfectionist thing goes out the window when crafting otherwise it’s not fun anymore 😉. Thank you so much for watching my videos 🥰

Love watching your videos! Your designs are basic and basic means timeless. I enjoy seeing all the fancy-smancy stuff that people do, but timeless rules my projects and I feel most comfortable watching your designs because we seem to craft alike! Love your lay-flat method of only leaving a small 1/16 the space… will have to give it a try as I don’t like the larger gap when I’ve tried others’ tutorials. Thanks for all your inspiration!

Darling. Did you need to use/ purchase additional 12x12 paper of and beyond what was in the collection kit?
I didn’t have the full collection but I don’t think you need more than that other than the cardstock I use for matting.
Do you have a cutting guide you could share?

What cardstock did u use for the matting? Also, the tutorial covers the book in kraft but what did u cover the winter woods book in, was it the antique gray cardstock instead of the kraft??
