    Chris, I had headphones on. The playback was done how???? Sounds like 3 mics set up. How so crispy??? What did you use?

      Well, I wish it was three mics. However it is an old Audio-Technica Stereo Mic that is about 13 years old. I do have it up high on a mic stand though, that really helps the audio I think. I have a very low budget low tech rig at this point!

    BD on 1 and 3 same triplet groove. Now and then go to high tom. Like your way as well. When I do this live even musicians and some audience drummers have no clue because so many drum hits are missing. Keep this a secret.

      @@ChrisSmithJazzDrumHang i'm well, thank you my friend! You always offer us interesting studies !.(Today i worked about triplets in five notes groups. RLR LLR LRL L etc etc)
