But it can be a ridiculous statement You can hope for the best
you can't lose it
Hope is not a material
It's a State of Mind
Built from your experiences
And that state of mind is dependent on you being alive and not brain dead
Dead, you can't have anything, not even your own body. Your body becomes dead weight. You as a person, no longer exist.
Therefore you have to hope to always stay alive.
And it is solely for this one reason you have to be grateful for, that you are alive
And hope to carry on being alive
And not worry wether you have anything else or not to be grateful for
