Hell yeah taco Bell is the go-to. Sides of refried beans are 20 cents and sides of guac are 40. You can stack that tostada.

I was on the slow carb diet (majority of carbs come from from beans) awhile back and I could make a pretty filling meal for $2. It's like a fast food cheat code.

That seems like a pretty nice deal. My favorite my favorite healthy and super cheap breakfast is to get 2 fresco mini skillet bowl’s ($1-1.50/e) which is very filling for only being 300 cal total. It is just potatoes, egg, and pico.

Jack in the Box taco 390 calories, 2 for $2.19, 780 calorie / $2.19 = 356 calories per dollar. Yours 300 / $2.16 = 138 calories per dollar. You are getting played. However, those veggies are expensive when half the time you waste half.

This is a health-conscious (even somewhat planet conscious, since it’s vegetarian) option that’s filling while costing very little. People LOVE to tell themselves that they can’t achieve that when eating fast food so they can mentally forgive themselves for ordering the worst junk or paying a lot for the slightly better junk.
Also, you’re completely mistaken to think that I waste the veggies that fall off. I eat every piece I can.
Live Easy Actually you are right. I made a mistake too the tacos are 2 for $1.19. I really like to eat the Carl's/Hardee's side salad but they do put cheese on it. It is the biggest side salad of the fast food. $4.15 for side salad and large drink including tax as I eat 2 meals and get the salad if I feel hungry. I often eat fast food as my only food over a week. I like tacos as corn seems to be more healthy than wheat.
pirucreek also just saying haven't worked at a taco Bell but I have worked at Jack in the box and there's like no beef in the tacos. They looked completely disgusting, it was some sort of weird vegetable protein paste or something

Go vegan. I did it and if i still lived in a car it would be simple. Pb&j for lunch. Noodles or soup for dinner. Perhaps even a premade salad? Or even a make burritos. You got the stove setup so shouldn't be tough. If i can live a vegan life anyone can. I used to be a fat shit eating tb every day. Ngl
Best way to eat on the cheap with quality is rotassarie chicken from Sam's club. $5 you get a bird. Pair of sizzors and a gallon bag is all you need. I you want you can really go after it and use a pair of gloves to debone the bird. If you do this go ahead and use a cutting board to cut up the meat for other use. Once you have the bird bagged you have plenty of options. Add it to salad , make sandwiches, use it in wraps, make chicken salad . You can use a knorrs heat and eat $1 package add chicken in the knorr dish. I have done this on the road and it works food is great price is right.

That is a great question. Tinder was helpful, but also a waste of a lot of time. I stayed connected with friends with my phone/facebook/ig, found events on facebook events in the area I was in, and went to the local bars.

I’m really surprised that you would be shooting for lower calorie foods. I’m cheap-ehr I mean frugal. So any time I pay for food I’ll pretty much get as many calories per dollar as possible. I’m naturally slim and have to consciously eat a lot to keep from getting super scrawny tho. Ima be living out of my truck part time starting next month and am def gonna be hittin up taco bell on a regular basis to stretch dollars!
Personally I have to make lots of little efforts to not become overweight.
As getting too many calories has always been easy, I focus on getting full satisfaction from low calorie meals.

My ex was obsessed with Taco Bell and always made me buy it for him, so that reminds me of him, I haven’t had Taco Bell I’m almost 2 years, right before we broke up. Safe to say I won’t be eating Taco Bell again, also I recently went vegan 🌱

When I’m on long drives, I usually bring my own snack, but I don’t like eating in the car, I get nauseous. But I love smoothies, cuz it’s in between food and a drink.
I had to go vegan for health reasons though, my body couldn’t process animal products very well and it was kinda deteriorating my body.
And I have a Prius too!!! I forgot to mention that!!
