POEs are essentially direct connections to your internet routers rather than depending on WiFi signal or extenders from a WiFi source to a remote place where your CCTV may be. The former provides minimal lag whilst the latter can have lag. NVRs also have large storage and can record 24/7, whereas the Reolink cameras can only accept up to 256GB which isn't 24/7, this can typically result in cloud based subscriptions but again there's lag in that because you'd be uploading to the cloud or pulling from the cloud.
All my Reolink WiFi cameras have been set up on my house for a year, using cloud service and phone app. I bought the nvr and hooked it onto my laptop with hdmi cable.
