Sir aap ne betaya nahi ki appreant power ka conjugate kyu liya previous lecture mein keha tha ki gauss- seidal method mein betayenge... Plz explain..

Apparant power bina conjugate k sirf magnitude correct deta hai .
S* se hm magnitude+ phase angle dono correct deta hai
ExS=VI=P+jQ = VIcos(thetav+thetai)+jVIsin(thetav+thetai)
Here the angle must be the phase difference of v and i... ie thetav -thetai
If S =VI* =VIcos(theta v-theta i)+jVIsin(theta v-theta i)
it gives both magnitude and phases corectly
