I have a 2004 jeep liberty with over 200,000 miles on it it doesn’t blow up any heat or any AC. What should be the first thing I should check and any other steps that you can tell me to determine what’s causing the problem.
Have a 2002 Liberty...heat barely works..started overheating after sitting for a few months. Changed thermostat and fluid is topped. . thinking of flushing the system next.
I'm working on a 2005 jeep liberty and it would only blow on high which tells me it's the resistor. Changed the resistor worked fine for a day. Then nothing. Changed the resistor, the blower motor, the switch panel on the dashboard, check fuses and relay. Still nothing... any ideas???
Check the connector on restor and blower motor and see if it’s melted let me know after that if u find it ok check power and ground to blower motor with full speed on key on acc
I have a different problem 03 jeep liberty limited,i turn knob to hot(red) its cold, turn to cold (blue) its warm or little higher than warm what is it plz i check right side nothing there to change it left side under dash their is nothing to move acuator..ken
@@RBTheMechanic How could a "no heat" condition on that vehicle be caused by a vacuum issue? The blend door would be the only component in the dash that controls hot air flow on the jeep liberty's and it has an electric actuator. Vacuum only opens and closes the doors that change the air direction to the vents. If there was no vacuum at all the doors should go to the default position which is the defroster. Lack of vacuum should not affect heat output at all on that vehicle. Do not understand the explanation that repairing a vacuum line would restore proper heat
So Where Is The Vacuum Line Going In At?
Some where on intake
@@RBTheMechanic But, Where Does it go into the firewall?
the blend door motor is it under the dash drivers side???
Yes I think so
Will the AC compressor, relay, being disconnected, Effect my heater doesn't have any warm air inside???????
I doubt that would cause an issue I can check from work tomorrow see what the diagram shows if u can give me year make model
The engine has been changed already, I'm not sure about the model, the body, 2005jeep library, renagade, 3.7
@@jerrydchambers2834 ok I was checking I don’t see it effects the heat

what if both Heater core lines are cool ?
Could be lock in inlet line or bad core or low coolant
Great video
Wow, that shop is really dark inside.
It’s fine not dark
Where do I recharge the air conditioning in my 2004 jeep liberty
U have to use the machine to recover vaccume and then charge the system so if u don’t got machine please go to mechanic shop

If ur hero has similar air diphram system maybe the control unit is bad or the lines are switched up
@@RBTheMechanic I tried another control unit no effect
@@RBTheMechanic nobody been under there
whats a hero??
@@kennethfriedberg2358 well can u make small video of the under dash I need to see the set up also the controller panel the back side of it
@@RBTheMechanic IM going to look at some videos with the dash board and see if any panels come off above the heater box first right now
Did u find the exact problem???
There was crack on vaccine line tapped it up and it worked like magic u can check that follow the vaccume line to the engine bay
