    Thank you for your calm way of teaching. You make some of the hard stitches look so easy. And you go slow enough to catch on. We actually get to see where you are going with the needle, instead of all fingers and hands in the way. Learn a few new things along the way. I’ll be following you as I master making these beautiful pieces of art, both on youtube and the written pattern on your website. Thank you again for your lesson and tribute to your sister. I lost my sister, brother, and sister-in-law all at once to cancer a couple of years ago. My prayers go out to you.

      Agreed! I definitely consider myself to be experienced at crochet as I have been doing it almost 20 years. However, having the video was definitely helpful for one if the parts! So beautiful! I'm in a group where we crochet hundreds of these mandalas into hula hoops, connect then together and hang them over restaurant patios on our main street in town.

    Lovely pattern and COLORS!!! I LOVE your color arrangement. Is there somewhere I can go to find HOW TO arrange my colors or is that just something you're born with? I am TERRIBLE at arranging colors. BTW I enjoy the way you do your videos.

    • @theloopystitch
      @theloopystitch  5 років тому

      Hi Susie, I would think there is something out there to help arrange etc. You could look up colours and complimenting colours or contrasting colours. Maybe I could do a video on it soon? X

    Te lo agradesco, me encanto tu mandala y tu tutorial, pero como soy iniciante tengo un poco de dificultad con los puntos, si tuviera la leyenda seria fantastico, con la cantidad y el nobre de casa punto en casa carrera... Gracias!

    Beautiful!! What size hoop in inches did you use?

  • @katievioletthedivadog8662
    @katievioletthedivadog8662 3 роки тому

    Hi I’d like to make this with a smaller hoop but I’m not sure how to adjust the pattern as a new were a beginner. I have a 12 inch hoop. Can you give me some tips on that? I love this it’s beautiful.

    • @theloopystitch
      @theloopystitch  3 роки тому

      HI Jacqueline, if you can find a larger hoop, I would suggest finding one, as it's easier to do this pattern as a beginner in this type of yarn or thicker. If you were to go much thinner, it may get a little fiddly. Unless you're happy to try a smaller weight yarn such as a 4ply. But I haven't made it in any other size yarn, and not sure of how your tension is, so can't really say with confidence that it would fit that size hoop. I hope this makes sense. :)

      @@theloopystitch Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Was going to try to start this tonight, but I only have a 12 inch tube. I’ll be using a thinner yarn. Ice Picasso yarn Darn I wish I knew how to make it small enough to fit the 12 inch hoop. I love this pattern and would really love to make it. Again, thank you for getting back to me. I think I’ll have to find another pattern.

      Hey Mandhi, you can by the Stylecraft Naturals from Wool Warehouse. Shipping isn't too much extra for urgent shipping either

      Thank you Tina! It all depends where you live. I recommed googling 'buy galvanised ring 400mm' and see what pops up. Maybe add your location to it too x
