There are so many ducks how on earth that mumma didn’t lose any in the flood and all. Starla is an amazing mum and so sweet to see her looking after her baby so well. How amazing! A Spoonbill ❤. Very tropical bird, not a common sight that I’m aware of. Have been wanting to return to Cuba to a bird conservation area that they reside in. That is one blessed pond❤

Lester, when I first saw the pink bird on LE's video, I thought the Sanctuary finally got a live pink flamingo. There certainly are a lot of baby ducks. It looks like there might be some little geese also. I enjoyed seeing Aunt Lydia. I was concerned about her during the flood and asked Meghan about her. I like seeing some of the OG's at the Sanctuary. I wish there was some way Ernie and OKIE could be at LHL. I am haunted by the look on their faces when they were leaving LHL. 😳

Wow, very lucky to have a Spoon bill. There used to be a lot around Australia but rarely see them now. Brine shrimp turn them pink.
Starbuck is so darn cute and so alert. He seems to be a month old already instead of a day old. Wow i think this is the first for me to ever notice this behavior from such a little guy. Starla you out did yourself with this little baby. She is a very good mama. I noticed it when little Starbuck was being cleaned as he was being born.. i loved seeing all those sweet little ducks at ISS. They are so cute and so many. The Spoon Billed bird is awesome . I wonder if it ever goes swimming in t he pond or just ĺook for food at the edge. Its legs are so long . It is very pretty . That spoon bill is so different makes it look unique.
