Believe me when I say that an umbrella wouldn't have done anyone justice except a heavy duty raincoat and rainboots. And watching that there strong wind and rain. That's some serious storm and not an ideal one in which to be on the road unless it's aboslutely necessary. Stay safe.

Oh my goodness! This must be what swept through Brown County Indiana when we were camping Monday around midnight. That’s terrifying to see that massive tree come down. My goodness! Glad you’re ok, and the animals. They are saying over 20 people have passed away from those storms that swept through. 😢
💥💥 yes it certainly did come through the Dallas Fort Worth area this morning. Woke up to all of the emergency sirens going off outside all kinds of alerts on the phone started at 5:45 AM. I had a huge tree limb come down lots of tree limbs that look like what you have there and just a mess everywhere everyone up here pretty much looks like that right now. Lots of power outages businesses closed a lot of schools are closed. . That tree falling down scared me. Because the cows go under those trees. Very tense✝️🙏

I think you should consider installing a storm shelter at the J&L because you both will be staying ALOT at the property. Geez! I am so glad it wasn't worse. I know I wasn't the only one screaming at you through the video to "Get in the container Lester!!" LOL. I am glad you finally did, at least for a bit. That should definitely be you and Sadie's place in case any trees fall or a worse storm comes through. I own a two story condo; but the way things are going now....if I had a house and property? I would be buying one of those containers, water proofing it and burying it my backyard for sure (and filling it with non-perishables and flashlights etc). You just never know!. Tornadoes are happening everywhere now. I am so glad you are all OK. Many prayers to you and to all of IMS, LHL and STB family/followers. I'm a double dipper stay safe. Be careful in the RV with the strong winds. They advise all our campers here in Southern Illinois at Rend Lake not to stay in theirs during one. Please be careful! Thank God nothing happened to the RV and your able to stay with the babies.

Yes, consider building a storm shelter. You have all of the wrong types of protection at the JL with the RV, open sided shelters, etc. Storms are getting more violent and Sadie needs protection and you to be around to feed her.

It blew my Barbecue pit half way across the yard an I am about an hour from you and I had water try to come in the house from the wind blowing the rain sideways! It was intense and blew stuff all over our yard! Thank goodness it didn't last long because it was bad! I'm in Richmond, Texas about 15 miles from Houston!

I was awakened this morning about 6:00 am by a very bad rainstorm in the Dallas area. It was the highest winds I have ever witnessed. Far worse than what you showed here. It seemed like hurricane force winds. It blew my trees almost over, and a very large limb from one of them in the front yard came down and missed falling onto my house by about two feet.
Good afternoon Lester. The container probably would have been your safest spot during that storm. Not in the RV that is for sure, they don't stand great winds or sideways hit. Pray that all the animals on each side, your horses, and cows and the cows and horses in neighbour's pasture is okay. Did part of one culvert get damaged when the largest tree fell? Glad that you are safe and looks like all animals are safe.
Lester I had to navigate a terrible storm like this yesterday here in southwest Virginia while on a winding mountainous road and with the wind breaking branches all along the road and the rain so hard that there was very poor visibility, and large pieces of branches were hitting my car as there were also larger branches were falling all around me. When I finally managed to make it home by the grace of God, there was no power and my yard was filled with branches and debrie also. It was a very scary drive home and a very scary storm here too. However thankfully it didn't last very long neither,

I was awakened this morning about 6:00 am by a very bad rainstorm in the Dallas area. It was the highest winds I have ever witnessed. Far worse than what you showed here. It seemed like hurricane force winds. It blew my trees almost over, and a very large limb from one of them in the front yard came down and missed falling onto my house by about two feet.
My nieces brand new car was destroyed by golf ball size hail in the Dallas area a few weeks ago. She only had it for two weeks. Stay safe Lester. 😘😘❤
Good afternoon Lester. The container probably would have been your safest spot during that storm. Not in the RV that is for sure, they don't stand great winds or sideways hit. Pray that all the animals on each side, your horses, and cows and the cows and horses in neighbour's pasture is okay. Did part of one culvert get damaged when the largest tree fell? Glad that you are safe and looks like all animals are safe.

We had it bad in DFW this morning. 100+mph winds broke limbs and uprooted trees all over town. Even big jets were pushed around at the airport.
Lester I had to navigate a terrible storm like this yesterday here in southwest Virginia while on a winding mountainous road and with the wind breaking branches all along the road and the rain so hard that there was very poor visibility, and large pieces of branches were hitting my car as there were also larger branches were falling all around me. When I finally managed to make it home by the grace of God, there was no power and my yard was filled with branches and debrie also. It was a very scary drive home and a very scary storm here too. However thankfully it didn't last very long neither,
