Hey everyone. Here is a video showing the alternate trial endings. I have cut a lot of the fluff getting to the points to make these endings possible but below is a run down on how to achieve them.
STEP 1: Ensure you have the pogs and batteries from Act 1 when you get to the train scene. This can be done by not trading your pogs for the tickets and selling out The Mask lady to get her ticket.
STEP 2: Trade these items to Tagora for information.
STEP 3: Resume the trial as per the normal path until you get to recess.
STEP 4.1 WANSHI: Use the new Tyzias dialogue option (far right) and present the Diary and Nail Polish. Then call out Wanshi as suspect.
Step 4.2 LANQUE: Use the new Tyzias dialogue option (far right) and present the Diary and Nail Polish. Then call out Lanque as suspect. Finally, present the H2D Magazine as evidence.

The trial is where Joey gets to taste that there is no justice. Even when you find the culprit, he still gets off free and tosses Joey. Lanque wants to escape being bound by causing mayhem and definitely willing to have someone else take the blame, Wanshi pretends to be a cinnamon roll but hates Lynera enough as most of her cloistermates do to get rid of her, Bronya is a helicopter parent because she doesn't want anyone to get culled, Daraya doesn't care, Lynera's a brown-nosing yandere, the teals are competent enough to figure out the case amongst themselves (esp. Tyzias and Tagora) but will not spill the whole truth. And if you choose the "everyone lives" route of the trial, nobody still finds out the real culprit. And in the Convicted route, someone who did not do the crime gets pinned anyway. Justice is something that people make possible, however. Whether by staying on the ideal path and risk your life even more or getting your hands bloody for the wellfare of tomorrow. Or maybe there'll be a third option.

Ill be honest, lanque being the culprit wasn't all that much of a suprise in hindsight. He was actually my 3rd suspect.
Yeah. He kept saying to Joey that she should keep asking everyone else. Well, I suppose it doesn't matter because there's no true justice in sight regardless of the route you take. Marvus comments before the trial that he doesn't care how "wrong" Joey handles the case because everyone in the car will witness the utilitarianism of the means to distribute punishment. Even when Lynera is possibly sent to the swirling abyss of death. Memento Mori.
Before trial, I suspected Tirona, but her involvement made her so nervous, I bet she wouldn't have guts to do the crime. Then Tagora told Joey about the jadeblood that wants to escape and then it was clear for me: Bronya and Lynera wouldn't escape. Daraya didn't care enough to steal the book. Wanshi gave us evidence against Lynera, therefore she had other motive to steal it than to escape. Therefore - Lanque.

That was the best game over yet. I should be mad at Lanque for tossing poor Joey off the train, but he's too hot lol
I hope the next 2 acts have convoluted puzzles. Stuff like this is what I love about puzzle games as a whole. I hope who you convicted matters as well, but they may go the telltales route ( which would suck )

I thought Gore Gore was the culprit. Because he's not talking out of all of them and he is obsessed with rainbow drinkers. And when you ask him why didn't he say anything he simply replys with "you didn't ask me" which makes it more sus. So who is the culprit?

How many Gane Overs are in this game? Or is this one the only Game Over?
There are quite a few. I experienced three game overs in the Trial part alone.
There's an achievement to get all the game overs, I think there are somewhere around 8-10 total.
I’m trying to get the achievements for getting all the game overs and it is tricky to get everything in order for it
