I don't appreciate how the queens would ask you a question then immediately interrupt you while answering asked question. Seeing Nina and Charlie be there for you was really endearing. Thanks so much for featuring the fantastic Lily Savage, and educating me on the others. I loved Lily all through the 90s, and even though Lily's retired, Paul O'Grady is a lovely TV presenter. Watching Lily's videos on UA-cam brought me to Drag race, and ultimately here. Can't wait to see you at the Season 9 reunion, Jaymes.

LILY SAVAGE! As a UK-resident I'm so pleased to see Lily being recognised! Lily was a legend, she was the first Drag Queen I knew as a kid....I remember watching her gameshow Blankety Blank which was our version of "Match Game" except we had a FABULOUS Drag Queen as our host!

Alongside the talk shows and one-woman shows, there's another thing that shows what a household name Lily Savage really was - for five years she hosted a primetime comedy celebrity panel show that ran for 20 years in total, previously hosted by enormously beloved (and rather traditional) figures. And this was when UK TV had only just launched its fifth TV channel, too.

Other drag performers from Mexico that I think are worth mentioning are: Dario T Pie, he does an exaggerated character that is based on Maria Felix, one of the most important actresses of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, and it's really funny; Carlos Rangel who has a character called Manigüis; German y Freddy Ortega, a pair of brothers that does comedy skits, have two female characters called Jitomata y Perejila; and Eduardo España with his creation of Doña Margara Francisca.

Please make a video at some point on Brazilian drag queens! If you could find subtitles for a documentary called "São Paulo in Hi-Fi" I think you'd love it, it's the story of the popularisation of gay and lesbian nightlife in the city of São Paulo in the 1970s, and many of the queens who used to perform in such clubs are interviewed for it. It's super cool, plus as you might have noticed brazilians are sort of obsessed with drag lol Thank you for providing us with such enriching material on the herstory of this Art form, it's super important to keep alive the names and the memory of those who came before us and paved the way for all the modern brilliance to be displayed. Also: you're adorable! But of course you knew that

gilbertblaze to be honest I don't think it's the edit I think that actually honestly showed how she felt and made me feel sad :(
i believe she did feel down during the untucked, but there is also very shady editing
her entrance being backed by clownish music then leading to very sharp cuts of people being rude about her and to her
this could be seen as playful but when compared to the other queens entrances it seems very intentional making her seem stupid and a weak link
which would most likely lead to a redemption 'shining her true personality' or an early elimation
thats just what i noticed, i wish her the best though
Every season they choose a queen to give the shadiest editing to, and this was Jaymes' turn unfortunately.
