My husband was a professional cook for 60 years. Every time he retired a pair of work or hiking boots, he hung them in a tree in our woods. I really liked you version of Autumn Leaves. Kudos!

Autumn 🍂 is my favorite time of year… thanks 🙏 for playing Autumn Leaves… glad you got to get your tooth fixed and get to see your favorite saxophone 🎷 player in person… very cool 😎
Live music is always great… especially when it’s someone you like a lot… and hope you can grow your trees… my guess is it was deer…
It’s amazing how intricate nature is… everything is inter connected… many people don’t understand this… everything needs another to be whole and complete. Good luck 🍀 getting your shoes fixed… have a good weekend…

Thought Autumn Leaves at the end was more natural. It occurred to me that with this song and Summertime knowing the lyrics helps in interpreting them. Then improvisation (that is a part of jazz) happens more naturally also. Try listening to some great jazz vocalists, Ella Fitzgerald for example. Your saxophone is your voice. Can't wait to hear more!

Brucke, you are also a wonderful teacher, humble, modest and a genuine caring soul. Just like Michelle who said darning is like weaving. You teach by example, either working silently or talking to us like this. You underestimate your abilities and creativity, but your viewers do NOT, as you inspire us all with your pure heart I am so happy you had a front row seat to hear your Idol Sadat Watanabe play with his ensemble in a beautiful and intimate 1,800 seat theater with great acoustics. Very cool!! I enjoy watching both your channels immensely nd appreciate you for sharing your life with us. Glad your molar is fixed too. Lots of love from Idaho U.S.A. ❤

What a joy for you to see Sadao, and don't forget your appreciation of him is felt by him as well, his many years of dedication still bearing fruit. It's good to visit with you and know your thoughts, an aspect we missed before and now enjoy. Shalom

Just to help you understand, pickles are made with vinegar, and fermented foods (such as kimchi) are produced with salt and time. Pickling is good for the palate, and fermented foods are good for the gut!
I am recently also making a star anise tincture, good for cold and flu season, which is covered in vodka for 6 weeks. I hope this proves worthy for medicinal use!
So much is available to us naturally. I pray this is helpful for you.

I love this new dialogue format...it seems like we are sharing a cup of tea and deep discussion, both enjoyable activities. Also, I am studying Japanese and listening to your discussion helps with improving my conversation skills. Kimchi is an acquired taste. For a time period, I hated it/couldn't understand why/how an entire culture could regularly eat it ...then one day and quite unexpectedly - I found myself thinking I'd like to give it another try....now, it agrees with me so much I have a favorite secret grilled cheese/kimchi sandwich recipe & enjoy finding new ways to integrate kimchi into a meal. Who knows? Perhaps, the same may happen to you..life is funny that way. All the best.🌻🎷Enjoyed your version of Autumn Leaves.

I believe all our taste buds change with time, but I also don’t like Kimchi or pickled vegetables but they have healthy probiotics for food stomach health. Lam is my favourite meat of ALL. Happy you like it also. Enjoyed hearing about your visits to Taiwan, and initial dislike for Star Anise and Cinnamon. You are right that most places in India smell like curry, but I don’t see you traveling there, haha. Take care and thanks for another great episode. From Trish in Idaho U.S.A. 🙏🏻👏❤️
