I just found this video with key words Swatara & Musky. Yesterday I floated from Hummelstown park to fed ex near 283. I had about a 40” Musky follow my small jerk bait to the boat. It followed me down stream for a bit. My heart was pounding.... I want to learn the best tactics for targeting these..
Love the encouragement to get people out musky fishing. But PA F&B needs to pick better times to stock these fish (preferably fall or winter), 95 degrees air temp and 80 degree water is wayyy to hot for musky! Even a large Muskie will die in that heat. I like to think of Muskie as over sized trout. They like similar water temps. And once you get around 70 degrees, it’s time to stop fishing them bc they’re in survival mode until temps come down. (Just some food for thought)
Shawn Eldridge I’m having no issue so maybe it’s not them? Also maybe the trout community could I don’t know not keep every trout that lands on the hook??

we need a 50" creel limit in PA !!!
need to stock more trout in these streams, lakes and creeks. have not caught a trout in 2 1/2 months, may be 3 months.
Dude if you can’t catch Trout in PA it’s you, not the stock trucks fault you can’t find them.
