The thing you clearly don't realize is we are aiding and abetting a genocide by Slselling billions of dollars of military weapons to a apartheid state thats completely fucking over the stability of the middle east. That means its more likely that US military personnel in the region will face increased security risks due to our administration deplorable actions to keep funding them. So to say this doesnt have a impact on every day Americans is just false. Go watch John Mearsheimar recent speech he gave on the rapid decline of Israel and the stupidity of our current US foreign policy to keep aiding Israel on their unethical endeavors.
@@bertholdbach4959 how are the pro Palestinian protestors in the wrong here? They are calling for divestment. If these ghouls in American society stop funding the ethnostate you won't be seeing this level of protests
One thing I've noticed, the activism typically stops at comfort. You'll never see any of these people volunteering at homeless shelters, or souo kitchens. They'll do absolutely everything in their power to do Nothing, and still sit on their moral high horse because YOU aren't out there blocking roads and disturbing the peace
And that is why I’m following in my friend’s footsteps. I met him because he visited my neighborhood a couple years ago to teach us how to work on homes and fences while fixing our homes and fences with his own money and labor. He didn’t fling money at it, he shared his time and experience with us and taught us how to save money and do the job right. Man helped at least a dozen of us, these people just fling money and wave flags and pretend they’re helping I can’t stand activists after meeting him and being shown what ACT-ivism actually is
Amir, they were on a hunger strike! She went on a hunger strike, then said it was unfair to feel hungry. These kids don't even understand what protest is.
I'm a Starbucks barista and i work here to get money and that's it and i remember working on black Friday and we had to close for an hour for our safety due to the protesting. I'm all for protests but be smart and careful about it. Thankfully my co workers and I were okay. However I heard that a store nearby had to close at 3pm due to being assaulted by protestors. It's insane how you go to work for a paycheck for groceries and rent only to get assaulted for something that isn't even your fault. I'm now the "bad person" for WORKING here. Also, for those saying just quit, some people get free college tuition through working at Starbucks. We are here for school and a paycheck that's it. I am not whatever label you put me as. I am a worker. That's it. I'm so tired of this
That’s so sad I’m so sorry. I really hope you’re feeling so much better now. I did research on Starbucks being involved with the genocide against Palestine only to find out ur was false. I’m still gonna drink my Starbucks🤷🏾♀️.
Preach it, spoke words holding nothing but the truth. And sadly the majority of gen z'ers do not understand what it is to live in a society versus the jungle or some rural place. They are too privileged with that they're presented with they don't understand zilch. Until of course . . . all of that is gone.
The hypocrisy is so dumb. “I’m refusing to eat of my own free will, but let me DoorDash food because I’m hungry” so stupid. So so so fucking stupid. If you’re having hunger strike that’s exactly what it means a HUNGER STRIKE! You don’t eat food because you’re on strike. Give me a break.
I think the reason we're seeing so many privileged students involved is bc the poor and underprivileged students recognize that they can't pull shit like this w/o ruining their lives, these students are privileged enough that they'll be fine so they're acting like this
And that girl saying "its my birthday and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else" shows most of their mindsets... To compete as to who is the most righteous and oppressed people in their friend group... I wish that was a joke
I’d say mainly righteous. White saviors are so prevalent in upper class communities in America cause they’ve never had to struggle and want to act in solidarity for an issue they don’t understand or truly care about
But she prefaced by saying she didn't feel like she was doing anything special... while screaming into a loudspeaker about how sick she is and how it's her birthday. This is what a messianic complex looks like in children.
@@Erinb8185 I agree with what you’re saying, it takes a crazy amount of narcissism to think that you deserve to be able to scream facts about yourself out in the open. Though I think this speaks more to how lonely people are, I think if even one person wanted to celebrate her birthday with her, she wouldn’t be there. Skill issue or not, people are really lacking friends and acquaintances
Good for you!! We should never allow others and their stupidity and ignorance to negatively affect Us. Especially when it's something like this that could possibly help uou make good change in your life. It can end up having so many positive effects in many ways. Not all the college experience is worthless, but if things continue down the path they are, it wouldn't surprise me when it eventually does get to that point. For now I think there's quite a few people who feel the way you do and are doing their best to keep their heads down, complete their classes and get as far away as possible. Sad it's gotten to this point. Absolute insanity!! To say the least!! 😅 Best wishes to you and yours!! I hope you're able to get through your degree and have a wonderful Life!! 💖🙏💖
Millennials cut off at 1996. You’re 27 and in college still? You’re getting scammed unless you didn’t take out loans lol. I wish you good luck and Godspeed! Stick to your morals and stay out of trouble 🫶🏻
Same. It’s so embarrassing to admit you’re going to college just absolutely ashamed and embarrassed. Not in it for the degree just trying to get resources I can’t exactly get else where.
I am a Jewish community college student, I worked my ass off for the last year of my life to keep a 4.0, community service, activism, tutoring.... now I am finally ready to fulfil my dream of going to a big-name university as a first gen student, and I am facing doubt about whether I will, as a Jew, be allowed on campus at one of these institutions, or if it will be safe to pursue higher education at all in the near future..
Damn. You nailed it. That was what they were really upset about. They dont give a damn that their neighbors can’t afford to go to their schools, but they pretend to be enlightened. Fight to lower the cost of education and access for your own people. Why won’t they fight for that? Don’t they understand that charity begins in your own home?
They aren’t nailing anything except each other. They’re using $200 power tools to SCREW around 😂 instead of using those tens of thousands of debt to actually learn and do something useful
Exactly! Their irresponsible herd mentality is exacerbated because they hide under scarves, much like cowards. They got their protest training from anonymous social media trolling.
See my issue is the burning flags. How in the damn world is burning a flag to "show your appreciation for this side" going to stop this damn war. Like come on now there is quite literally no reason for that and I highly doubt a single damn one of these people would actually fight in their war. Keyword "their" because American has nothing to due with it. Stupidity and attention are the most common diseases in the newer generations, and I'm honestly sad to be a gen z because of things like this
I mean at least the money going to Israel gets put back into the US in the form of protection IE training our troops and technology to protect our country. We now have 2 iron domes and our troops have learned the same techniques the IDF uses to prevent civilian casualties and better protect the troops im not sure what we get from most of the other countries we freely hand money to 😂😂
My biggest thing is they are more than welcome to move there… Just leave. I’m tired of this BS. You live in America. What is wrecking your campus going to accomplish? Bye ✌🏼All this is the new BLM. Funded chaos which is doing nothing for the actual cause.
If you really feel this smart, I'm sure you know Nurit Peled, Josh Paul, the way the Israeli military operates and trains in the west bank since before october 7th,I'm sure you know how to study the holocaust and that it isn't about learning that jews were slaughtered but that people were slaughtered in front of a german population that cried "but our homeless, but our money, but the scary jews that want to kill us all" (sound similar to something?) so please, at least on this issue (since I agree with the craziness of woke in other areas), try and actually be smart about it. I come with no hatred, I come with honesty and with sincere debate.
@@maraapolide8859 see i never said im on the israeli side lol, and honestly i see it as israel making really fucked up decisions, i mean... killing innocent people because of hamas, destroying like 60% housing, killing 5k kids? Or more? Yeah that doesnt seem that correct in my book.
And for your info yes i do know those people or at least heard of them, and i do know that the holocaust wasnt only on jews, and it was mass slaughter as i am from poland! So i know they killed our people too.
I’m Jewish and I have been studying the conflict since middle school (I’m a freshman in college). I know this issue very well and I don’t want anyone to suffer. I know people whose family is still being held hostage in Gaza. Antisemitism had been on the rise even before Oct 6th and I remember being told to “go back to the gass chambers” by a classmate in 8th grade. I don’t agree with everything that the Israeli government is doing but neither do the Israelis who had been protesting against the prime minister for months before the attack. I just don’t want people to label me a monster for saying that Israel retaliating after being attacked makes them monsters. It’s a very complex situation and people should really do some research before making such harsh judgments.
It's appalling that someone said the gas chamber thing to you! That kind of hate and prejudice is taught! I only hope that one day, one beautiful glorious day, that prejudice will not be taught again by anybody to anyone.
I think i understand you, i'm from Russia, and the situation with Ukraine and Russia is much more complicated than what is shown on tv in the world. I just want everyone to be alive and well.
I'm Palestinian. Its not that complex, you stole half of our country and enact aparthied, ethnic cleansing and mass murder on a day to day basis. Just because you are Jewish doesnt mean you have to support Israel.
In the UK we just had local elections. And what was the no1 issue the politicians wanted you to vote on Gaza.. ..the uks biggest issue is Gaza??? Sorry cost of living and boarder control we need to focus on something that has literally nothing to do with this country...I'm so annoyed rn how is this being allowed to happen
@bradleymunden2968 sighhh it seems so. Hopefully the silent majority will have the power to vote in common sense but idk which politicians are that now
This has everything to do with not wanting Israel to exist... Why would towns in the UK, French villages, or German backwaters care at all if it weren't a J-majority country? They just want to feel not so bad that they very nearly wiped them out last century.
When Gandhi starved himself to free India he said, "I am physically exhausted right now I am literally shaking, I'm cold and hot at the same time, aNd ThIs iS ALl YoUr FaULt!"

@@GymmyJoshbarely any, they literally trot out the same three on rotation. Regardless those ones are only allowed because they spew the same brainwashed leftism. You cannot block students from going to class because of their ethnicity. Period. Idk why that has to be said.
They're recognising they've never been stronger, because these poor, brainwashed kids have never known community. Literally all they've known since they've reached consciousness is social media and fake people/stuff 💀 They literally do this for the community experience. It's why they're so intense. It's sad.
It is sad and terrifying. These are the same kids who grew up with no religion or hating Christianity with a passion for not being "inclusive." Now, they’re cosplaying as members of one of the most intolerant religions in existence that stands in direct opposition to everything they claim to believe in. It's insane and reveals how these people have no actual belief system to begin with. They're empty vessels easy to capture by whatever movement enters the zeitgeist. We're going to get reruns of the early 1900s in certain countries if nothing is done.
You are so correct... My generation and not to mention Gen Alpha is so doomed; social media raised generations of indoctrinated kids. It's tragic. We as kids saw things we were not ready to process, raised without proper role models and communities in the real world, and now as adults our sense of self and individuality is so warped that it is difficult not to latch onto whatever community you can.
would u rather these ‘kids’ not try to help others in need and try to make a change in their world? Just because you have decided to not involve yourself in issues like this around the world, it doesn’t make people who do ‘brainwashed’. Please learn that we are in a changing world and people are different and like to try rather than give up.
This is a very polarizing video. Respect to you for posting it and taking the heat because your opinion is just as valid as the next guy's. Some people in chat are saying they're out. That's fine, they are 100% justified in following their own convictions. More of us are sticking around than dropping out though.
I saw that too, but the people dropping out either just wouldn't explain exactly what he was saying is actually wrong, or were completely ignoring the actual issues people are having with these protests. Really seems like they didn't actually care to listen, just wanted either blind support or disparage any who disagree, without addressing the obvious issues with these protests
@@samthesalamander8726 Yep. I think we're better off without them. Usually I don't support having less voices and not having differing opinions in a community, but, they were completely unable to defend their stance.
Love y’all! And that’s why you’re subbed to me-I share my raw opinion always and forever. May not always agree but you can always trust it’s my own opinion.
@@samthesalamander8726 I'm not going to drop out because I disagree with this one issue, but as a family memebr of oeople who were in concentration camps and say that Israel and most of the media in the west are behaving like germans in the holocaust, as a person who follows this conflict since 30+ years, I can't blame them. I encourage everyone to try and see that even if many students here do it for a trend, many others do it for humanity and for human integrity. no wonder there are many holocaust survivors taking parts in the protests. so even if it's a trend for many students, at least the are protesting for something good. I'm more worried about people who can't see what they are blind to, the massacre, the killing of civilians of children. that is what worries me more than naive kids
When Ukraine and Russia started going to war a few years ago, Ukranian students at my school started bakesales across campus to raise money for Ukranian families, so why couldn't students have done that along with peaceful protesting? I feel like a lot of these people expect others to stop their lives for the Palestine genocide, which is an awful issue in itself, but these same people didn't stop their lives for any recent genocides or human rights violations against groups of people, no graduations got shut down over them, no mass media attention was brought to them like this one has. Not to mention this war has been going on for decades between Palestine and Israel, the same way China and Hongkong, and Ukraine and Russia conflicts have been. Our money was used in some of these, but yet no outrage.
Because what they really want is not to study and feel superior for it. They want to party and at the same time feel like they’re fighting for justice. When you actually care for something you do sometimes productive that yields results for the cause. What they are doing is creating chaos.
Hell a bakesale is always a banger! Especially if someone goes and adds gluten free items too for those who needs them too. I've seen those for multiple situations near me even school related issues here. Those things always sell out. At one job someone did one to help out a coworker who was going through some tough times and helped raise a couple thousand over 2 months.
I totally had mixed feelings when I heard about these student protests in America. Its very theatrical and I think due to this the message can't go across. The conflict situation in Palestine should not be treated like a trend.
@misturatokunade66 Besides that the issue should not be about venting one's own feelings but bringing attention to the plight of innocent people, no one is saying they can't protest. Actions like burning flags, attacking Jewish people and ultimately jeopardizing other students' rights is not peaceful protesting and NOT assisting the people in Gaza besides obviously the ones that just hate America and Jewish people and take joy in their destruction.
Some people will never be happy. I’ve realized I can’t solve every problem. I take care of my family and that’s what I can do something about. And my religious Catholic life.
Yes, you're right that taking care of ourselves and our loved ones is most of what we can do, however, we are still called to love others. St Thomas Aquinas said to love is to put the needs of others before our own. Of course, we can't fly over to Palestine and stop the conflict, but we shouldn't forget our brothers and sisters in Christ. What we can do is vote for people against this genocide, pressure our government to not send our tax money to support this cause, and letting it be known that Americans do not want to pay for the slaughter of the Palestinian people. There's a lot more nuance and other things that go into it that I'm sure you know about, and doing these things doesn't mean everything will be immediately resolved, but it might help. If God gives us an opportunity to help, why wouldn't we? I can't do much, but I at least try and pray for them. (This isn't meant in any way to patronize you or anything btw. Just speaking from one Catholic to another about a topic that I've been praying about for a while now.)
Well you mustn’t be very well educated on how universities all over the world invest in foreign companies & receive endowments from these said foreign companies- yes even from companies in the Middle East. Do your research before you make yourself look even more uneducated than you already are.
you’re obviously ignorant to the fact that many American universities invest in & receive endowments from foreign companies. so yes, there is a lot they can do about a war in the Middle East when they’re sending money to the perpetrators of a genocide.
Do some research then lol? The students are requesting the university divest from Israel. Including arms manufacturing and to boycott all companies which fund Israel. Blackrock vanguard. Coca-Cola.
When you want to help the Palestinian people so much you segregate the Israeli. Innocent people are being punished because of the actions of their government that they can't control. They wanted a professor fired from a university/college because he was Israeli despite living in America... These people are genuinely evil. They're willing to get someone completely unrelated fired just because they have a hero complex...
I think it was Bill maher that basically said that social justice is taking a progressive ideal to such an extreme that is wraps around to being the opposite of liberal. college kids literally being openly anti-Semitic in the name of palestine really fit this bill

these people don't have enough issues and/or have been bullied enough. so they're just looking for problems outside of their life in order to feel like they're doing something with their life, i swear.
They need to get out of their privileged bubble and interact with people outside of academia. They would find that more people get along outside the classroom and off campus. They're so delusional it hurts.
If these people suffered adversity or practiced voluntary discomfort or lived up to standards of nobility and courage they wouldn't be acting the fool, I agree

Protesting is one thing, being a public nuisance is another. What happened to the MLK way? What happened to just marching down the streets with signs? What happened to just going door to door and raising awareness? What happened to peaceful protesting?
I can't stand how some of this generation self-diagnoses themselves with mental illnesses that, in some way, they feel should make them even more entitled. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia but not until doctors checked every other possibility for what was happening to me. I saw neurologists, surgeons, and had test after test until there was no other possibility than schizophrenia. I'm 52 and this was about 25 years ago. I have learned to recover and am even working again, as much as I can. Nobody with a real, diagnosed mental illness chooses to have it. Yet I've seen Tik Toks with kids pretending to have Tourette's (with cute little "anime style" tics), PTSD, autism, etc. and think it's cute. I don't understand that. Even my own nephew calls himself "autistic" yet has never seen a single doctor to receive that diagnosis. Why do they want this??? I'd give anything to not have this curse. It literally ruined my life and I've had to rebuild and rebuild time after time. This isn't "cute." You're just looking to give yourself another label because you think it makes you special.
I agree 100%. I was diagnosed with @nòrexia and have suffered anxiety my whole life. The ED made it worse amd i developed ocd and my anxiety worsend. Yes i self diagnosed because I was in hell amd wanted to know why I was the way I was but I actually pushed to see a doctor and got a real diagnosis. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. People brag about seeing therapist but I've never had a good one amd they've only caused more issues. People brag about their eds but mine changed me probably for the rest of my life. Willingly skipping meals and laughing about it amd bragging to ur at risk friend shows that you don't truly have one. It's not just about not eating but about ur body refusing to let u eat. I had to fight and recovered on my own because I had no choice. I also suffer from chronic migraines and have literally seen people make whole videos while they're apparently having a "migraine" laughing about it and even laughing and messing with me during an episode just to run their mouth about theirs. If u knew what it was like you'd leave me alone and let me sleep!!!😂
as I agree with lots of what amir says about the craziness of woke, but this, this is not ignorance. many kids probably follow a trend, but many others protest because humanity has lost its way. Our western values thrown down the drain. I stand with these kids who protest against our countries funding bombs that kill 70% of women and children. Against a country that has been brainwashed like the germans were during the holocaust. and if you don't believe me, hear and read about what Professor Peled from Israel says, her research on Israeli propaganda in schools and in society, she says it as an israeli mother who lost her kid to a palestinian bomber, yet she still hasn't lost her humanity and she still condemns Israel since 30+ years, hear what my family who has actually gone to concentration camps during the holocaust has to say about how history is repeating itself and how most of us are blind to it... listen to US state officials like Josh Paul who have resigned cuz they wouldn't bare for the US to support the atrocities Israel commits. This isn't about people being crazy ignorant coloring their hair and changing gender. this is about thousands of deaths caused by OUR money.
Must be nice to have all this free time to horse around like that. While im working 2 jobs just to be able to sit in my empty apartment rationing my food 😅
Amir, hats down to you. Watching your videos from half a world away (Vietnam) and I'm straight, but I found your perspective about politics is really innovative compared to other Americans. People tend to be so 1 side that they can't stay in the middle to see and judge things from different POVs, and when the whole country filled with people bearing that mindset, these things will happen. Congrats on leaving both sides and use your common senses finding a way out of these BS. Love from Vietnam
“They think this is their vietnam” is basically the summary of the idiocy going on in some of these colleges. This goes to show they have waaaaay too much time on their hands

"We are fighting to prevent genocide!" They say, meanwhile chanting "From the river to the sea." Phrase that goes as far back as the 1930s and the 1936 Arab Revolt. There is a reason a J××ish revolt would happen 12 years later and successful established a Nation State. Let's not forget where the Arab Nationalist fled to and joined up with during WWII and helping raise Muslim soldiers to fight for Mr H. That being said. Neither side is in the right historically but the Palestinian side has been heavily white washed while the Israeli side has been rightfully questioned. @SonderDAzeX-nc6vg It does regardless. The Arab Nationalist who run the schools in Palestine are the very people who use the phrase that way. So the Palestinians who are raised on that quote whether they realize it or not are supporting it. As who do you think is running Gaza? The very organization that wants it. At DePaul we had an encampment, for a while. It was on the quad, it was peaceful. Students had tents, good vibes, protests(peaceful), music, etc. Hell, I actually walked through the quad a few times between classes, it felt like walking through a medieval town. However DePaul’s president called for a force removal of the encampment and the police were involved.
Same as UChicago. The organizers were very adamant about following the law and rules of the school, had daily schedules with different speakers, activities, prayers, music, etc, and of course displayed signs and such all around the quad. It lasted about five days until the president ordered a police eviction at 3am to tear down people’s tents, destroy signs and artwork, and threaten disciplinary action to all the protestors (4 seniors were withheld their degrees because they were “possibly involved with the encampment”).

Why are they even burning flags. Who are they trying too prove a point too because they are messing with other people’s education for a war that doesn’t involve us. Like I understand it’s very sad and horrible but this isn’t the way too show support.
Weird thing is, they think burning that flag is in the name of decolonization or for the benefit of anyone oppressed, but they're ushering in an ideology that could lead to another colonial movement here in the Americas. And they have no respect for millions upon millions of people within every demographic that have fought and died under that flag. All flags have multiple representations. Their interpretation isn't the only one and they need to take a course in critical thinking.

It's insane how many folks want to claim they're activists and only have rout repetition empty arguments. The funny part is that I don't always disagree, but asking questions instantly get pushback on w/e phobic reason claims.
I went back to school last year at 34 and all my class was 19-22 and it was bizzar how these "adults" act or get offended by or the funniest part thought they were the first one ever to say or have an idea about a certain topic, I guess we weren't to different but man at least I wouldn't run to the dean and have a meltdown because someone said she instead of them, bunch of snowflake pop tarts mhen.
It's a lot of virtue signalling and empty hearsay argument. Whatever reactionary chiming in possible and, while admittedly on a case to case basis, some courses are extremely echo chamber-like. Protagonist know-it-all behaviour and such BS, but it's funny when it leads to "wow, you must literally have been born yesterday" moments.
I live next to Harvard. Teachers had to change final exams times locations to accommodate to them. Not one of them gave up their Harvard education for an institution of learning that allegedly is so awful. They had a slumber party in the yard. Getting food delivered and going to dorms back and forth. Why don't they fly over there and protest?
This.. and once again.. it’s always the rich role playing who actaully have no interest in Gaza or any other cause.. it’s just empty activism. If htey wanted to really help - vote.. and pull your tuition then.
Especially taking it out on Jewish Americans who have no involvement in the middle east and are usually just descendents of Holocaust survivors. Why are you punishing them for Israel when their ancestors have been here or in a German Mass grave for this entire conflict. It makes no sense.
@@kimmiewise1044considering people seem forget (oft not know). That Mustaches first solution was exhile to Israel (in that infamous 52 minute meeting where things were decided, this is in the minutes that survived). Because they thought Jewish people wouldn't protest that. When stuff kicked off, a good sum did go there. It wasn't the British who made it happen. It anything, the American Jewish population did these protesters a favour with their ancestors coming here instead of going to Israel. They did the exact opposite of 'colonising' the east lol.
You should've put the recent video of the protestor asking "why are we protesting here?" on campus after the Vietnam lady. It would have exposed the disconnect even more
Honestly, this is news to me because when I saw the posts on Instagram all of them were saying that students were protesting peacefully and got arrested for NO reason. Like I felt bad for the protestors because I thought that they were just walking and maybe holding up signs. There was no mention of people fighting or blocking other students from getting to their classes. At my college at least I think that I heard of protesting but I never actually saw it so I guess it was more peaceful than at other schools
☁️ Hi Amir love your content, could you make a video specifically on how all the new sexualities are erasing straight, gay/lesbian and bisexual? As a bi person myself I feel very strongly about this topic and I personally feel that pansexual is a form of bisexual erasure. Keep up the good work mate! Love from England 🏴🇬🇧🏴
@@thesleepinggirlmy thoughts on it is that pan originally meant you love people of ALL genders, which is already a flimsy definition since that depends on someone’s belief on the validity of non-binary. But now they’ve changed bi to mean the same thing! Apparently the only difference is that pansexual people are gender blind and that the gender doesn’t matter it’s the person?? That’s not a sexuality, that’s just falling In love!
They wanna be part of the change, but don't want to take part in it. They wanna be able to say "I've been through this and fought for change, I fought for the weak" when in reality, all they do is whine and make this all about themselves. "It's my birthday and I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else" ? Embarrassing.
What really worries me is its not just American Colleges & Universities it's happening at. There also happening at Australian, Canadian, Brazilian, British, New Zealander, Argentine, Emiriti, Singaporean, German, and Norwegian Colleges & Universities.
I study at the university of Warsaw (Poland) and the exact same thing was going on on our campus and many other cities in Poland, maybe on a smaller scale. But it wasn’t any less of a distraction. During classes, they would scream and bang their drums, distracting us from classes. Yelling and singing for days. They also had police called on them. Now I see where they got the inspiration from. They skipped classes, exams and disturbed other students during classes and exams. So smart.
It’s crazy how people are worried about what’s going on around the world, but not what going on in their own backyard we got homeless VETS and people walking in the street as we speak. Nobody says anything for them.
These students are saying something for them too. Have you done any research at all? The pro palestine people also advocate for the fact there is a current cost of living crisis yet America is sending over 100 billion to Israel to...drop bombs on a population made up of mostly minors?
Imagine being a parent and spending $20,000+ a semester for your child NOT to go to class and get an education, but to miss classes and protest all day for things they are not involved in.
All the "Free-Palestine" points are lies. Gaza was not occupied before this war-- not since 2005. Gaza had a functioning border with Egypt. It had billions of dollars in aid, stores, restaurants, beach clubs, restaurants, farms, parks, etc. There was no Israeli presence. What justified Oct 7th again??? ///////. The West Bank has been occupied, yes-- but that started after the Second Intifada, which was a multi-year campaign of Palestinians killing Israeli civilians with suicide bombings and bus bombings. Palestine started every war. The rejected statehood and started a war in 1948 and like 7 other times. Hamas lied about the death counts, the UN quietly admitted it. It's all jihadi propaganda.
Yea and is Israel any better, honestly I don't blame either side, the west didn't care for any minority groups, and didn't want to deal with Jewish people in their own countries so they used Jewish peoples fears after the holocaust to give them a place to finally be safe, and well they always demonized brown and black people and in the end the state of Israel benefits them the most.
Palestine started every war yet Israel was built by europeans who came and took over and ethnically cleansed the land and admitted it. Gaza is under occupation since they have their borders and airspace completely controlled by Israel. They have been under a siege.
I agree… I see so many people who are so questionable in places they don’t deserve. For example the student president in my school had a 75 average in our ap classes…
I know it sounds corny af but when I saw the photograph of the frat students protecting the American flag so zealously I couldn’t help but see flashes of other instances involving the US flag. Washington Crossing the Delaware, the raising on Iwo Jima, the 9/11 firefighters in the ruins of the WTC.
I agree with your point, but there is not a genocide in Palestine 🙏
Hell a bakesale is always a banger! Especially if someone goes and adds gluten free items too for those who needs them too. I totally had mixed feelings when I heard about these student protests in America. Its very theatrical and I think due to this the message can't go across. The conflict situation in Palestine should not be treated like a trend.
How should they then ventilate their grievances? By keeping quiet and doing noting? I hope not.
