I didn't use flares in the test, it's just the missiles that can't chase sharp maneuvering targets. If I use flare, the traces will be visible.
I thought that almost all MW players could tell which missiles were missed due to maneuvers and which were tricked by flares... and it turns out I was wrong, I'd better continue reading my lecture module instead of dealing with this...

I don't usually request as I know you've probably done things or have it in the plans, but could you do a direct comparison using tomcat2, F7 and TF-X. Also, F15X vs P125 fighters plz.
One feature i'd like them to add is the ability to choose what type of target your anti air should focus on between missiles, aircraft, if possible surface target and all targets like it does now.

Yeah, current AA system is frustrating for everyone, for CV players it's frustrating to get your planes intercepted by an AI that randomly decides to target you and for normal players it's frustrating to see that AA ignores the major treat just to focus on a single plane like 3km away from you.
If you let people choose what to engage it will be much more skilfull for everyone, CV's will not be as frustrated since they know that if they're targeted it's because the enemy player choose so and vice versa.
No more scenes where 10 missiles are flying towards you and your AA decides for some strange reason to shoot at the isle cause it targeted an enemy behind cover...

Garpun missiles misses a lot but it's alright. Better than most aa if combined with laser
I havet noticed that garpun is better at destroy missilles Thenpansir and The chinese air defence this 730i or what its called ,but m this Paslash is very good att protect against missilles also. But just look at The price diffrence on The garpun and The other i mentioned or maybe it aint that much money diffrence. But Therese is onekligen that i Wonder about these air defences ,is that they shoot also AT ships moving targets okej. But IF there are airplaines attcking But IF there are ships aswell beside witch does it or does The defences do they shoot at planes first or ships because they do also work as autocannon. Jaxx
@@zakhidel3003 garpun works best when ur at open sea not in close quarters with enemy. And with combine laser it prevents missiles from penetrating the defense in all AA available I'd say garpun works well on all occasions due to its rapid firing rate

Bro everything on my ship shoots at both aerial targets and ships... And I don't have any problem with it, I actually prefer it....
hopefully garpun Eliminated the feature of shooting enemy ship because it will only reduce the ammunition for that attack, it is no better than other weapons that are specifically designed to fight enemy ships
Can we just have a button that we can toggle the priority target instead of removed the feature? Because look at those RAPIDFire and some other Autocannons that can shoot air targets

I think we should mix both so we can get protection against missiles with Garpun and protection from mosquitoes with OSU.
Garpun is nice because it's a mix of both missiles and machine gun but if you wanna use osu. Use a pure missile AA as the other half of the AA set up like crotale

Great feedback at the end of the video. The important fact here is the range 2.6KMS for OSU. That might be bit tricky as this AA is no use for missle. I know QEL also has the similar range but very effective for close attacks.
Originally, when it comes to kills, garpun is faster than OSU, try the plane without flares, I'm sure the one that kills the fastest is the Garpun, not OSU

All of us never liked the idea of a CIWS that could double as auto canon as well

Since the arrival of pantsir then followed by palash, garpun and Type 2030
It all became a massive letdowns
Sure those CIWS needs balancing factor to make it not outright OP and blocks all kind of missiles or shoot down jets too fast
But there is other stuff the developers can do instead of making it double as auto canon
I hope they reconsider this in the future
And i want a legendary or epic tier missile based CIWS that we either could buy in the shop or grind in BP
No more locked VLS based AA missile

Garpun is still better, it's strong and easy to buy

i think the main reason why osu doesnt intercept missiles effectively is rate of fire, have it supported by other AA with higher rate of fire and the result might be positively surprising

It's missiles has longer range than it's miniguns. The missiles is it's first defense the minigun's the last one. Basically it's a layered defense.

Conclusion :
-Use garpun if u want to handle massive missile spam
-Use osu if u want to kill those aircraft quickly
Or u can just mix both why not
-Use osu if you are from Poland
