    Thank you!! Will do this today. 7b, west TN. Will bring the plant into my sunroom whenever winter arrives. Would love to see the lantana you rooted - how it looks now.

    Being that i live in n tx,,of course it gets HOT . So ,..when the sun starts beating down and i've had my potted Lantana in the sun , about after 6 hrs in the sun , I move it into the shade only because this is my first Lantana and I noticed a few of the leaves were getting ' sunburnt..its fall here now..beginning of December so when we get a LOT of rain or it gets down into the mid 30's overall, I have been bringing it into the lighted garage till daylight..hope i'm doing the right things. The plant seems to be doing very well !. Come spring I hope to plant it outside but have to find a area that wont get a ton of sun.

      These plants are pretty hardy, mine do the same and I just give them a drink and next day they bounce back.

    Thankyou, loved this video. I'm in the UK and wondering if this might be a good plant for a very sunny border in my garden. I could over winter cuttings for the following year. Such a beauty! 👍

      I'll be honest, I think your in the wrong zone but if you can make it happen then fantastic. I'm round about 27 c at the moment and it's come back to life, Full of blooms when it was 30 plus I just had green but it is a beautiful plant. Thank you for you kind comments.

      Spagnim, vermiculite, and perlite. 2 parts spagnim, one part vermiculite, one part perlite.

    What is the purpose of the coffee filter? Can you post your “soil recipe” here?

    • @EnglandAndy
      @EnglandAndy  3 роки тому +2

      Coffee filter at the bottom of every pot means no soil ever comes out allowing good drainage.

      Did you put the plant in the shade for a couple of weeks and keep the soil moist. These are probably the most important things to do.
