Absolutely astonishing!!! Based on how strong her lower belts are you'd never be able to tell she's capable of resonating powerful a5s. ussually singers have 1-2 notes that are their "best" (like adele w b4 or sia w c5) but lara is just consistent perfection from bottom to top!

MimiXtinaChelleKRow It has to do with her open-throated approach and the bel-canto technique she always employs. Also her mixed voice is incredibly well balanced, allowing for maximum resonance at the higher belts.
But this is just on another level on insanity! It's almost inhuman!

Adrian Nicollas Yes she supports every note she sings, including the A5s, so it is definitely possible that she'd be able to belt B5s, although perhaps she avoided doing so because she couldn't support them properly? Anyway, her belting range is very incredible because of how consistently resonant she stays.

Lara Fabian is the only singer(aside from opera singers) that I have heard with this kind of resonance, especially her lower belts. Her lower belts are so deep and powerful, the resonance always hits my head strong. I wonder what kind of technique she is using. Anyone has the idea? There are no other pop singers who know how to produce such resonance, not even WH, MC or CD.

KoreanMusicSubs Nope, they all can't produce that kind of blossoming resonance. "Blossoming" is the only the term I can think of Lara's resonance. Her open throat resonance is unique beauty for me.

Some singers' resonant quality just 'pops' more that others', like, you can hear that ringing quality. Lara is one of them.

It's not just talent. Lara has a solid vocal technique the foundation being Bel Canto to which she adds various pop vocal techniques. Her technique and talent is her ability to flawlessly mix Chest and Head Voice with the Chest voice providing the belting power. The other half of her amazing performances is Lara's choice of songs and arrangement. Lara loves her open vowels and works her phrasing and breathing techniques to fully maximize the open troat that open vowels produce. If I can learn to do one quarter of what she does I'd be a very happy Baritone, indeed!

I wish Lara has sung 'All by myself' in her prime, Celine of course did a phenomenal job, but I think we all know how Lara Captures emotions of a song in an unreal way, which one would think is practically impossible to sing with so much emotions.

She is just amazing, As if it is not enough her classy personality, she speaks/performs in many languages and crystal clear voice in wide wild range, but also she have the perfect nose..
In my opinion, her most intense bridge/ending is in between adagio and Si Tu M'aimes because of how the instrumentation puts you in such a tense position, anticipating that high note and then she delivers it without any effort

dedede jereme Yes she is no longer in her prime. Same with Celine. Same with Mariah. Same with Barbra. By the way, Celine has used a lot more mixed voice above Eb5 since 2000. In the 90s her upper chest (e5-g5) was screamy and strained. But when she started using mixed voice, her voice became smoother! I have never heard anyone (except you) say that mixed voice is a bad thing.
Mixed voice is what produces resonance. Mariah's BEAUTIFUL mix is what allows her to sound so good. Whitney never had a good mix which is why her upper chest was so strained. Do you know So Hyang? If she didn't mix, she would NEVER be able to belt so high with such an amazing sound.
dedede jereme Lara uses mostly chest up to Eb5. Then she mixes. Same with Celine after 2000. So Hyang mixes all her high belts. Aretha Franklin mixed almost every belt above D5. Barbra mixed above E5. Mixing is good and healthy. As for chest, Lara and Celine have similar power and similar resonance in their chest register below Eb5. The only difference is that Celine had a naturally brighter voice, whereas Lara's was darker (dark like Whitney). Many people prefer darker sopranos! It's just taste.

Wouldn’t say ‘monstrously powerful’ because there‘s a “lyrical” limit to the amount of resonance that she‘s capable of producing, but she’s absolutely a vocal beast. She’s one of the most effortless belters I’ve ever seen.
