Clun Castle and Mayflower head to the Bath Christmas Market 1 December 2019

7029 Clun Castle and 61306 Mayflower both hauled excursions to Bath for the Christmas Market on Sunday 1 December 2019.

the river at video time of 12.32 reminds we of the river Mersey in Warrington at a area called Latchford in the 70s with the foam floating on it and the river looking black in colour, as I use to live on the banks of the Mersey in Latchford and we was only separated by the busy dual carriageway thats how close we was to the river and the smell from it every day and night, not so bad in winter but summer on hot days you couldn't breathe, we couldn't even go and play out

When Mayflower pulled out of the station it’s a pity those 2 camera men didn’t get out of your way when they had completed their shots , very ignorant of them . Excellent video , two great steam locos .
