You are absolutely right, lightweight models feel cheap and fake. That's why I can't stand DIY models that are full of cheap plastic parts.

I am glad someone else feels the same. When I pick up a model that weighs next to nothing it feels like a cheap plastic toy compared to a "collectable model"
