I remember when I was 12 my father taught me how to drive his 2002 Holden rodeo. The ute was already in rough shape and had a bull bar so he didn’t really care about it but it was his daily. He took me out into the bush near the house and I ran over a fence. He literally just said “Mate you’ve taken out a fence” and nothing more😂

For me, it was similar, but my dad was so casual but extremely good, since he's in the ADF and drove in afghanistan and shit, so he will casually explain how to do the most complex-ass turns and shit extremely well. Meanwhile, my mum is just like "NAZ! WATCH OUT, THERE'S AN INTERSECTION IN A DEPOPULATED RESIDENTIAL AREA! YOU COULD EASILY CRASH HERE!"
