Fractal Spectra | double string quartet | 2018

Fractal Spectra experiments with chords and figures repeating within themselves at gradual increasing rates while sound and color are simultaneously acoustically visualized like spectra of light.
Fractal Spectra is to be performed with all eight players surrounding the audience, with four players each on two opposing sides. This creates a setup in which two standard 'string quartets' can be derived from combinations of the left and right groupings, the front and back groupings, and the outer and inner groupings.
