In fact, Carly revals how much Loretta Lynn continues to be a guiding light for her songwriting, as well as what it means to be a country artist in 2024, especially when artists like Beyonce and Post Malone are knocking on the door of the genre. Pearce goes on to discuss her partnerships with Shane McNalley, Josh Osbourne, and Jordan Reynolds, which of her new songs reminds of her No Doubt, and how she came to cover Faith Hill as the opener of Tim McGraw’s latest tour.
