Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 тра 2022
- Released: 1998, PBS
Director: Dana Perry
Produced: Perry Films
Native American musician Robbie Robertson -- known from his days with The Band and solo albums -- explores his musical heritage and collaborates with other Native American musicians like John Trudell, Rita Coolidge, and Buffy Sainte-Marie. The film follows him back to the Six Nations reservation in Ontario, where he spent summers growing up and first picked up guitar.
Robbie never disappoints. His songwriting, his guitar playing, his commitments, his storytelling.
Some of this is beartbreaking. Robbie left us too soon, even though he was 80 years old, I think he still had much to give and contribute.
One of the best documentarys I've seen. I've learnt so much. Thank you Robbie ❤
A proper superior songsmith who did everything on his terms without ever negotiating ...an original , brilliant ,uncompromising artisan of the finest grade possible . RIP Robbie Robertson .
Miss Robbie Robertson

Jaime Royal "Robbie" Robertson - Order Of Canada (Born: July 5, 1943 - Died: August 9, 2023) was a Canadian musician. He was lead guitarist for Bob Dylan in the mid-late 1960s and early-mid 1970s, guitarist and songwriter with the Band from their inception until 1978, and an accomplished multi-media solo artist.
He and Levon and the rest of the boys must be having quite the jam-reunion right now..
Thank gawd I lived in a life-time listening to..all of 'em. RIP Robbie. On a personal note - through various interactions with him throughout the years, I always knew Robbie was a give-peace-a-chance kind-of guy but as far as I'm concerned, if cancer was a person I'd shoot it in the face..
RIP A FIRST NATIONS friend Robbie Robertson
I have the CDs.
One of the most beautiful music I've ever heard
RIP Robbie Robertson
