Glad you asked!! : ) This video is to give you some insight to Ruskin and the surrounding area. With so much growth and development here over the years, I had to do a little video on the pros and cons to living here.

I know this video is old, but I am actually moving in to a new build apartment complex on Bahia Beach (yes right there where you were lol) in exactly 3 weeks I'll be moving/moved in. Super excited.

we have been living in Ruskin for one year, my wife commutes to Tampa and there is plenty to do 10-20 minutes away. I like the less traffic here. If you need a real-estate photographer let me know. Where you are at is 5 minutes away. Plenty of boat ramps.
Hey, thanks for the comment. Glad you like the area! I have a photographer and videographer that i'm really happy with, but appreciate you asking. It's so important to use excellent photos when marketing a home, I see so many listed homes that are done from people's Iphones etc, and it looks so bad!

We are looking to relocate. I've been looking at rental homes in Ruskin. Is it walkable, biking?
Hi Michelle, have to say it’s not very walker friendly in Ruskin. I guess you could bike but I’d be concerned on the busy roads. Most places in Tampa Bay aren’t great for walking to be honest. Unless you’re in the city itself like the river walk or in Downtown St. Pete, or close to a proper beach. Bigger master planned communities are good for walking too. But in terms of accessing places to go then it’s best to drive. Hope this helps.

Does Ruskin qualify for USDA rural housing?
Hey Burton, I believe it does. According to this map at least : www.usdaloans.com/program/property-eligibility/ A lender will need to establish for sure, but it should do. Let me know if you'd like me to find out for certain
Where do you get your information as far as data on the city
I lived there when I was 10
Ft Meyers or leehigh acres East near Naple are much much better.
Why are the school ratings so low?
It's a bad place and drugs but they won't mention that part.
