Thanks for watching today!!!! I can't wait for you to see project ideas I got from researching today!
Hey my friend I missed you.
I'm doing g8 after my surgery.
I'm walking and doing a few things that I havent in yrs. Like walk the dog make my own bfst or lunch clean out and wash my car. I feel gr8. Therapy is going well and I'll be in heaven when the pool opens up at the YMCA. I miss water fitness.
I've missed you too!!!!! I wondered how you were - That's so great to hear that your surgery went well and you are getting to do things again!!!! Are there any medical water therapy pools you can use in the interim?
@@TheCraftyOrganizer nah this c19 crap has the only one shut down.
Norrine, I have a must share idea😁 I have a very small craft room with a large window that faces the West. So, 1) it takes up nearly one entire wall, and 2) it gets very warm in there in the summer months. So, I thought, why not make indoor shutters from peg boards, adding a frame and paint to give them a finished look. Then I will have more storage right in front of me because the window is above my table, and I can open and close as needed. I am so proud of my self for think of this and had to share. Thank You for the inspiration to think outside the box.😁😊😀🤪
I LOVE that idea!!!! Dual purpose at its best!
Great idea! I may have to copy that!
Would be great to see pictures.
We store winter horse blankets in kitty litter boxes. No more mouse damage! Loved everything in this video!
I'm going to have to find some and see what I can do with them! I had no idea until I researched this!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer With your imagination you'll come up with brilliant ideas
😂😂😂 that's funny. But your serious, right?
@@darlenecuker9711 Darned right!
@@darlenecuker9711
It's basically a big bucket with a tight fitting lid and it has only contained unused litter.
Perfect example of repurposing.👍🏻
Using the kitty litter jugs for paper storage is amazing. We go thru those a lot. Didn’t think of that.
Lol that's the only way my ironing board will be used. Thanks for the great ideas
LOL I was going to say that (because I've used mine once in the last 5 years) but I know some people still use them!
You flew by the kitchen knife display using old books. OMG old cookbooks on a kitchen counter. LOVE it. All the ideas were top notch. Love your channel. I learn so much and I am old. You can teach an old dog a new trick. LOL. Thanks, Noreen.
Marcia Musiak that’s the one that caught me eye too! I just donated a pile last year!
You are so sweet! Glad you liked them - I wish I had bigger counters - I loved the book idea to hold the knives too!
Me too!
Wait-I missed that. What's the time stamp? I'm trying to watch this at 1:42 a.m., but I keep nodding off. Chuckle
For my knives, for years I've used a big flowerpot filled with rice. Once or twice a year I dump the old rice and refill with new rice. It's cheap and all my knives fit in it. Rice doesn't hurt the blades either.
My favorite upcycle for storage is a little butcher block we found at a garage sale for $20. We sanded the worn top so it looks new. Hubby painted the legs and the bottom portion of the block with a creamy white paint, and I took off the bar that was a handle across the front of the drawer and added glass knobs for pulls. It's the perfect "Cutting Table" and holds my large paper cutter on top, baskets on one side for paper scraps, and the drawer holds extra cutting mats, extra blades for my machines and my envelope maker.
I just loved so many of the ideas here! Looking forward to more.
What a great find!! Sounds perfect in your craft area. Thanks, Grace!
👏👏👏👏😀🤔awesome ❤️😀
I love watching the ideas you come up with, and also the things you find! Thank you so much for what you do! I love organizing, crafts and decorating, but with my severe ADHD I'm so extremely overwhelmed by my house that I can't function to even start somewhere. My brain just overloads and I freeze up. I hate it! When I have help, it's so much easier. I love helping other people, and never seem to get someone to help me.
Email me pictures of your area - wide shots and close ups to CallClutterFairy@gmail.com and I will see if I can help. 💜
Me too!
Oh... I feel overwhelmed in the same way and I do not have ADHD. I hope you found a starting place. 😉
I have a folder on Pinterest that is called reduce, reuse, basically cardboard, bottles, glass etc. Love the ironing board ideas! So great stay well, stay safe. Hint I cover small boxes with upholstery fabric I bought when a local store closed down. The boxes are pretty and very useful.
And the fabric makes them stronger too! Great idea, Diana!
I did that with my totally Tiffany paper Junkie boxes! They all coordinate!
I save Talenti jars for craft room storage. They are really great size for bits and bobs.
Cribs also make great blanket ladders, and you can put one on the wall in the laundry room, on hinges, so you can lay sweaters or other delicates to dry , and then fold them flat when not in use.
I've seen amazing things done with the Talenti Jars!!!!! Great idea for blanket storage!!!! Thanks, MissBeans!
I love Talenti jars. I use them for small craft bits and sentiments. I stored a string of battery fairy lights in a Talenti jar and use it as a "porch light" when camping with Scouts. My husband uses Talenti jars in his man shed, they are good and sturdy.
I can’t wait for the vertical stamp pad holder you said you are going to make. Thanks for your videos. I always enjoy them.
Coming soon!
She’s done one, or someone else has, I watched it a few days ago. Really neat!
OMG Kitty Litter containers. You do not know how many I threw away. I kept a few lately and have found cheaper clumping litter at Tractor Supply that I pour into them. I noticed it now comes in the same type large container and now maybe I see a locker storage being made. We will see. I absolutely loved this one as I never thought of using a lot of these things. I do however store my markers like the Marvy ones and colored pencils in my empty Crystal light containers. I just love you as watching you has made me look at "stuff" in a new light. Thanks so so much. I find when I need an answer I bring you up on You Tube and search away. This way I get entertained too. Love and hugs
😍 You just filled my heart up for the entire day!!!! Thank you for the very kind words. I appreciate them very much! 🌺💜🌺
Years ago I converted my son’s changing table to my Cricut cart! Tool & misc in drawer, shelves below store Fab Files of my inventoried vinyl. I’m able to check my inventory list & have the vinyl I need in seconds. I have about 200 rolls!!
WOW! I love that idea!!!!!
Love them all. Like to watch all kinds of recycling items less waste in our landfills and more organized in our life. Win Win
I agree!!! Thanks for watching!
So you started showing the ironing board ideas and a light bulb went off. I could use it as a table. I was going to buy one of those folding tables but the iron board would work just as well and it's adjustable. Can't wait to try it this weekend. Most use my ironing board has seen in a long time. 😂😁
Ok.... THAT is genius!!!!!!
I definitely used mine as my crafting table for years when we lived in an apartment.
My hubby constructed a wooden box with shelves behind a vintage frame to place my essential oils on. It works beautifully and is a nice decor on my bedroom wall.
That is awesome!
I love the idea of using plastic containers. My husband and I own a food truck so we go through various condiments in plastic containers most are gallon size. Using them for organizing my creating supplies and for my pantry, laundry, the list goes on and on. Love you and your God given talent. Can't wait to see what you do next. Have a blessed day. Pat from Arkansas.
I used my old ironing board in my quilting studio. Spray painted it, hung it on the wall and used S hooks to hang up my larger quilting rulers. It works great.
Oh wow, never thought about the crib. I have triplets & with 3 cribs I could have done so much, oh well. Maybe I can tell others
Please do!!
Oh shoot...now I'll be saving even MORE "trash" with the excuse of repurposing it for storage.😄😄
I LOVED the knife holder made from old books. 📚 📚
So cool looking.
😆 Oops. Sorry! LOL I just love finding purpose in things.
Great ideas again. The rabbit hole is a dangerous place to go. I have those metal cd holders, could even spray or paint to match my room!
Absolutely!!!
All these ideas were just right up my thrifty crafty alley. I use the plastic jars nuts come in from Sam's/Costco in the craft room, and also the plastic containers dishwasher pods come in. I've become a packaging hoarder, cutting chipboard boxes into pieces for tags and ephemera or die cuts for cards. How grateful I am to have found your channel tonight.
Oh, I love those large containers!!! So many things you can do with them!
Brilliant ideas people come up with! The medicine cabinet from an old suitcase is really cool! But, I'm most excited about the cat litter container uses...I have 4 kitties and go through litter like crazy!
Keep me posted on how you use them! I am so intrigued by these ideas!!!!
I too have many kitties 5 now and go through lots of litter. I have found a Clump and Scoop which is good and cheaper at Tractor Supply and now it too comes in those containers both types the large ones and the smaller ones. In case you need something more affordable.
LOVE the kitty litter magazine holders...COOL!😀
Oh my gosh that is so cute that crib potting bench
I love the ironing board idea!
Painted 4 #10 cans with white chalk paint, then mod podged free printable labels and made a new kitchen canister set. So much fun.
That is awesome!
We have loads of kitty litter containers for various items in the garage. They are supper sturdy.
I use the Great Value version of Crystal Light containers in the counsel of my SUV. Six fit perfectly to hold various charging cables. No digging through a jumble to get what I needed because I wrote on the lid what's inside each one.
I love that idea for the 2 liter pop bottles. They also work great as a yarn dispensers. Just cut a door in the side with the top and bottoms of the doors being just before the curve and about a third the way around. Gosh I wish I could share photos here to show you these.
I can't wait to see what you'll be sharing next!
You can!!!! You can post pictures to my Call Clutter Fairy Group page on Facebook: facebook.com/groups/730125317461615/
I can't wait to see them!!!!
I love the ironing board idea.
I need the Clutter Fairy to come to my home ! Such good info . The Old suitcase is epic ! Ironing board is so smart !
Thank you!
Ditto! Need help with my Dollar Tree decor items for re-fabricating their products!
I picked up a used ironing board for a couple dollars & have been using it as a folding table for sorting piles of paper work I've been decluttering. It also makes a great table near the BBQ! So many uses & so much cheaper than buying an actual folding table- new or used!
Love the potting bench from a changing table. My brother used to use the kitty litter in those large buckets. Now I wish he hadn't changed brands.
I'm guessing they get discarded most of the time! Hope you can find another cat lover and get theirs. 🌺
I LOVE the idea of turning a changing table into a potting bench. I'm going to try to find one of those!!!!!
Yay! Go for it!!!!
Me too. I need a potting table and a table to hold my grow bags. I'm gonna start my vegetable garden.
Years ago I turned mine into a craft cart! I just got rid of it when I moved! My daughter is 38 years old so I know I got my money’s worth & it’s still in the family!!😀
Think about using Zoom for your virtual consultations ! Go live and talk directly with your clients 😃👍🏻
Zoom-ginizing? Orgazooming.... LOL I will make it work!
Love the ironing board idea, and the baby furniture ones
🌺🌺Norrine, LOVED this show today! You rock young lady!🌺🌺
Yay, thank you!
My mum is really into colouring so for her birthday I made her a pen storage unit using pringles tins. Cut them in half arranged them in a pyramid shape, stuck onto a backboard. I covered each of the tins in paper so she now has a purpose made storage unit for pens with coloured compartments to keep her pens in. I was so pleased with myself thinking I had come up with something original lol oh well
It was original - and I love that you did that for her!!!!!! I'll bet she loved it! 💜
@@TheCraftyOrganizer yes I think she did
Thanks for all these repurposing ideas.
You are so welcome!
You are absolutely precious. Your ideas are so helpful. You are so authentic and kind.
Thank you so much!
Back when detergent boxes were large, they were the perfect size for magazine storage. I still have some. I've seen the idea for punch storage...I wish I had a wall. My storage went UP long ago!! I love your ideas Norrine. Thanks for searching out possibilities on pinterest... I hate going down those rabbit holes!
The rabbit holes are dark and deep sometimes! LOL OR WORSE - lead to new holes! I thought I'd been researching for about an hour the other morning - nope! 3 had flown by!!!!!!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer oh my yes, it just sucks up time!!
The ironing board was awesome
I love the idea of using the ironing board and cribs. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
I love organizing things!!!! This video gave me ideas on how to add storage for everyday items, thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
As soon as you said use the things you already have I hit the subscribe button, So many woman just dont have the $ Thank you ☺💐🌹🌸🌻
Oh, I am a budget girl!!!! LOL Thanks for subbing!
Loved every one of these tips but my favorite is the ironing board. Because it is always covered and I almost never see it naked. Also storage from cribs since I haven't used a crib in 40 years.
Amazing ideas for recycling!! I liked so many , I cannot decide which is my favorite. Great idea for virtual room organization. You could charge by the hour, or half hour, depending on the clients need for assistance. You are creative, I believe folks who really need help would reach out for your assistance. Great video!
Thank you so much, Alice 😊
I wish this video would go on and on. Please post more like this. I loved every idea!
Yay! So glad you liked it. 🌺
The ironing board is Genius, I think it would be great to hang painty paper to dry when I use geli plate too. I saved this great tutorial and shared it. I've used old cribs to make benches and large dog beds. Also the old fashioned tables with storage under them make great small dog crates. I'm thrilled to get to recycle it's a win-win in my book and a great way to create a one of a kind family heirloom. 🦋💚🐞💙🐝
Genius ideas!!!!!
I love the ironing board and litter container ideas! 💖 Thank you.
You are so welcome!
cool ideas! i have a bunch of crystal light containers....who knew!? 😊 thank you!
Send me pics when you are done!!!! You can share it to my Call Clutter Fairy Group page on Facebook: facebook.com/groups/730125317461615/
I'm rewatching some of your videos: We went through a knife storage issue a few months ago. The idea here is so darn cute! My husband didn't think it would be very sanitary, but we did come up with a solution combining what we already had and moving the knives into a larger drawer (rehoming the contents of that drawer), and adding one additional rack. The drawer the knives were in is now my spice drawer and . . . well, you know how it goes. LOL! But we are both VERY happy with the changes!
I love when those ideas click into place! Well done!
That crib shelf would be great for a spice rack!
With bins!!!! So cute! Great idea!
What a bunch of awesome ideas. I especially liked the kitty litter containers, oh dear, another thing to save. Tfs
Right?!?! I'm going to have to find some and see what I can do with them!
I have so many of the cat litter containers. I've had cats for 20 years and if I do the math...I better not ..lol. I however find that I forget what I put into the containers. I have labeled them but I still tend to forget. There has to be a better idea.for this. Thank you for your videos, I find them as a brief way to escape from what's going on in the world. Take dare and stay healthy💕
Are you more visual? Could you put pictures or images of what type of supplies are inside?
MJHinCA If you're saying you have so many that some get buried, could you organize them alphabetically in some scheme? Or group them by color-coded labels? Seems like large labels with bold lettering would be key.
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Im disorganized that's what it is..lol I have so much that I am bordering on being a hoarder. But I will give the visual a try. Thank You`
Those were all great ideas. A lot of things that can be reused instead of thrown out. Thanks for sharing. I love them.
So true!
I liked the kitty litter jugs made into magazine or paper holders! We have two cats and I like to recycle whenever possible.
Let me know how it goes!
Lots of "favorites," but I snapped a screenshot of the over-the-toilet shelf made from picture frame. I have a spot for that in my new old house.
I love that!!!! If you make it, please share pictures with me!!!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Norrine! You saved me from myself! I went shopping today to look for more storage containers but came home empty handed cause I couldn't find what I wanted and then I watched this video. I was putting the 'cart before the horse' because I don't even have a clue what all is in my hoard. I'm off to sort my stash then I will figure out storage container needs.
Glad I could help! Just let me know if you get stuck... I'm happy to help. :)
My favourite type of video! So I have to comment about the old suitcase turned medicine cabinet! The luggage tag was YVR...... my neck of the woods, Vancouver BC Canada!
I once bought a typewriter from a store in Portland Oregon which had a repair label left on it from the city and state where I was born... which was NOT Portland Oregon! I had to buy it just because of that! LOL
Awesome lady...
I use empty peanut butter, deli clear containers etc for putting in old grease or food to be tossed ....I use round pounce cat treat containers for washi tape.
I love the ironing board idea and bed rails... Very cool
I love the cat treat container idea! Those are a great size!
Great video & tips.
I used to use cat litter trays for storing my scrapbook paper & card in before I got a bed with drawers.
A tip I have is to use ordinary ring binders for scrapbooks/memory books. I used to have to pay a lot of money to have them shipped from the US to the UK & couldn’t afford to do that anymore, so I now buy A4 (UK size) lever arch files that for A4 paper etc. So much cheaper.
That's a great idea!
Great ideas again. I use boxes of all sorts, cover them with paper. Contact paper wrapping paper even wall paper. I also use the big containers that coconut oil comes in. They are clear and great for storage. The big containers that powdered protein drinks come in. They are not clear but so easy to label. Thanks for all your advice on staying organized.
Great job, Barbara! Love that you've been making use of storage around you! 🌻🌞💛
Barbara Shipley I have those type containers but not sure what to use them for. Could u give some suggestions, please?
@@PHamm54 Hi. In my craft room I use the clear containers for my large wood beads. I use the white containers for my laundry soap. I make my own in a powder form. In the work shop the clear containers are great for my husbands assortment of wire nuts, large nails and such. I also use the white ones for planters, by cutting them down. I hope this helps.
Great ideas. I love reusing old clear plastic jars. Watching old videos to support your channel today.
Great video. I love to see things get reused. Thanks !
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm always years late to the best content. You're a game changer! Thank you!!

Love these ideals
Glad you like them!
So many great ideas! ❤️
Love recycling things to use in my craft room. Hubby and I turned the top of an armoire into a pretty cricut station.
Loved the ideas about how to reuse the ironing board.
You're awesome! Thanks for being your positive self and sharing great ideas! A Minnesota subscriber. :-)
Thanks for subbing! 😊😘🌻
I have seen that kitchen knife storage idea before and plan to look for old cookbooks to use. The ones I saw just used regular books. I use Pringle tubes to carry chocolate chip cookies (or any cookie) when traveling. But now I will have to check Pinterest. I save glass jars. Some for kitchen use others for crafting. I have some cat litter containers with flip up lids like you showed and use them for miscellaneous stuff but love the ideas you showed. Thank you for all your inspirational ideas. I look forward to more videos. Thank you. 👍🏻🥰
Sounds like you are ahead in the storage solutions game!!!!! Well done! :)
I loved ALL of the ways you shared to use what we already have. They were also pleasing to the eye. I especially loved the crib and ironing board ideas.
You are a GENIUS, Norrine!!! Thank you for this video. You are so creative! 😍
Thank you so much!
As always your videos are so wonderful and helpful. Love your channel.
The ironing board as a peg board is genius. The changing table , I have used as storage. They are expensive and frankly, I rarely used it for changing diapers. You can also use the metal mattress base of a crib as wall storage with S hooks. I turned an older TV armuar into a craft cabinet with shelves and a pegboard for the back wall. Husband had to reinforce it with 2x4s.
I love all of those ideas! Way to go, Nannette!
I am always inspired by your videos, Norrine. Thank you!
Really enjoy your channel! Lots of great ideas and a genuine heart to go with them. Best of luck with your business and I hope that RV dream come comes true.
Thanks so much!
Very imaginative!
Kitty litter and crystal light containers? I buy both of these ALL the time. Although I do recycle, I would much rather upcycle when possible. Another great idea, thank you.
I totally agree! I think it's amazing to use something in a different way instead of throwing it away. Totally against the organizers' code! LOL! But maybe what makes me unique. Thanks for watching and if you do make something out of them, please share to my Call Clutter Fairy Group page on Facebook: facebook.com/groups/730125317461615/

Thanks so much 😊
I love most of these ideas. Especially the ironing board one. Tyfs
Yay! Glad you liked it!
I love upcycling too. You gave me some good ideas. Thanks
I'm so glad!
I love these ideas. I keep many Mason jars, simple glass, or interesting shaped small glass jars. I cut down and cover cardboard boxes with vinyl shelf paper to store things upright (like wrapping paper). I use shoe boxes for attic storage. For those parents with an IKEA child's table and chairs: I stained my son's table and chairs dark green. The chairs can double as stools or mini display tables, and we use the table as a coffee table. Sturdy cardboard can be cut down and covered with shelf paper and used to line wire shelving.
Thank you for the ideas! I will need to look into the cat litter buckets. I have a few of those :)
Please do! Let me know what you do with them!
All of these are great ideas. I'm saving your videos to my storage file so I can refer back to it, after 4 kids and 7 grandchildren are gone from my home I have a bit of a mess over here im trying to declutter and organize but am finding it not that easy. Thank you for all of your ideas!
Take it a little bit at a time.... 💙
Love all your ideas. I am working on my beadroom. Have many ideas from especially from DT store.
