That stone fits in there pretty good. Ive got a locust that had a lot of galls. i cut them all off when i collected it a few years ago but It still occasionally gets them. Im going to put it in a bigger pot this year as Ive found it to be a very thirsty tree.
I agree they do seem to be quite thirsty this one has always lived in an oversized container. I will soon find out how it does in a more confined container.
@@beardedbonsai np i like repottings :) im in the middle of my repottings as well may i ask what you are planning to do with those 3 trunks emerging from almost the same spot? do you leave them or reduce them to two or just one in the future to avoid inverse taper?
Good question. They do emerge from 2 different points but they are very close. So far there is no inverse taper showing. If it dose start to develop inverse taper I think I will reduce it to one leader. I like the left one best for that option.
Thanks for letting us watch the creative process. Great video.
Thank you very much.

nice every day a new video! and also a tree with a decent size! when it comes to trees and beards size actually matters 😉
Thanks Anna. I wish I had something different to film than repotting but it's that time of year and I need to get them done.
