Thank you for showing us how it works in real life :) I went to the shops today to see some garment steamers, and none of the stores had any demonstration available which made it difficult to make a decision. This helps clear a lot of my questions :)
Late to the party, and all, but I've been weighing up different steamers for a few days and just could not make my mind up as to what I needed. I was thinking about a 2-in-1, about water capacity, about weight and lugging one about on my travels if needed. Based on your review I have literally bought this one online. You are right, apart from in the first testing honeymoon period, I should be looking to use this on a 'per wear' basis, not 'stockpiled/backlogged ironing load' basis. As such I don't need it to have a huge vat of water, but I'd rather a lighter weight, easily packable, steamer. Your chat and steaming of the three garments showed and told me enough to know we are kin in this department and that this steamer will give me the effect I am after with minimal effort. Love!!... thank you. 😁
Good for things you can't really iron, like a winter coat. I just got one for a sunray pleated dress that would be impossible to iron, but cme in the mail a bit crushed. TY
Would be good for awkward spots like the bulky shoulder seam of a jacket where it joins the top of the arm. Also delicate fabrics like polyester sateen. I would not be able to stop myself from ironing that striped cotton shirt with a steam iron on high heat to get it looking crisp and polished. I find those shirts quick to iron because they lay out on the ironing board perfectly and the steam with iron sweeps away the creases quickly.
looks great for holiday use and when something needs a freshen up. I can honestly say I quite enjoy ironing whilst listening to an audio book and it's so satisfying seeing it all done - mind you I do try and buy items that are non iron ! 😉
Thanks. Well, I have gone thru the hand held and also a large upright pro steamer with hanger that is the size of a vacuum. It is just too much hassle and my Downey Wrinkle Releaser gets basically the same results - so I will just stick with the spraying.
I have been thinking about getting a steamer for ages, but then I wonder if it will be any better than my current steam iron, and big ironing board. I saw a Tip: you can hang your clothes up against your upright ironing board when steaming, to give a harder backdrop. Does this machine drip or cause much condensation ?
Yes that would be perfect to steam like that :) no it doesn’t steam at all and doesn’t cause condensation either.. I love it and find it so quick and easy to use :) xxx
Great for holidays , however what you need is a pro press streamer Kerry, especially for a family of 4 , hold lots of water so no continual filling up ;-) yes they are more expensive but worth every penny 😊
You can do this with the steamer by holding the arm with it creased where you want the crease to be and the steamer flare s it along that crease :) xxx
I bought a cheap one ages ago… but found it left the clothes really damp so couldn’t wear them straight away… and it took ages heating up between items and re-filling
Oh that’s so interesting to hear.. this one beats up instantly and the clothes are dry straight away after steaming.. I’m really impressed with it :) xxx
This looks amazing! I hate ironing and avoid it at all cost, so this would work so well for me! Thanks Kerry. Quick question, do you watch a you tuber called Lara Joanna Jarvis? She remind me SO much of you, her style, her personality and her videos. Xx
I cant tell if the brown shirt is a cotton t-shirt but will this work on my every day t-shirts? I iron mine but it's way too time consuming. Sorry for the dumb question
I love my steamer, I’m unable to use an iron anymore but I manage the steamer fairly well. I have a couple of attachments on mine, one for putting trouser crease in witch is fab and another one that you use for refreshing coats and sofa’s. I even do my quilt cover on my bead, it’s brilliant 🤩 xxx
Oohh that’s so interesting.. I did wonder how you would get the crease in trousers! I never iron bedding either and I’m sure this would work really well on that too :) xxx
The water tank is far too small on this brand. It only lasts long enough for one garment. You did finally say it was small but I think that this is an important point. I wish I had bought a brand with a larger tank. Also it has no stand so you have to lay it down on your table. You can put it on the bag but a built in stand would be preferable.
Ooh I’ve been considering getting one of these to take on holiday. I have a fancy steam generator iron but I hate having creased clothes when on holiday and travel irons aren’t the best. I’m glad you made this video 👍🏻
I think, it's for people like me, who never use an iron. I have one, but I never use it, because I only have a few blouses that would need it and I dont like to iron on the floor or table and I want storage an ironing table just to use it 3 times a year. For me such a product is nice :) small, not heavy, and great for occasionally use

Found this really helpful, as I have been toying with the idea of getting one for ages. Thank you Kerry
So glad this was helpful :) I am really enjoying using mine :) xxx
Me too!!!
Use distilled water only because of mineral deposits in regular water.
My doughters buyed me for my 56 birthday a steamer from Tefal.I also dont like the old iron but this is great.I am happy getting it.🎉
Its brilliant on curtains and bedding!
I never thought to try it on bedding so am now really looking forward to giving it a whirl on my duvet when I next change it :) xxx
I definitely enjoyed this review. You're lovely and explained everything so well 🙏

Same that shirt was bothering me. I would defo end up ironing that. I think these steamers are best with light clothing
My pet hate is ironing so I've recently bought this item but not used it yet ,I think it's time quite a few clothes need steaming x
I am also not an ironing lover so I think you will really like this item like I do 🥰🥰
Thank you, that video was very helpful! Most reviews show clothes that are not that wrinkly, now I'm convinced to buy it :)

Thank you! It’s very informative for me. I’ll try Steamer out. Ironing takes a lot of time.
I would like to see a review on wireless brooms
if you want a bigger water tank use a wallpaper steamer, works same and you can do a carboot load to put on vinted
Brilliant - just what I needed! Found a second-hand one for £20 and am very pleased - suits my purposes well. Thank you for posting.
How many times did you refill water tank with those 3 clothes?
Thanks for that Kerry, was thinking of purchasing a steamer, so you have convinced me certainly😉👏🏻👏🏻
It really is great.. I’ve been so happy with it since getting it :) xxx

Oohh I’ve not heard of one of those so I will now go and Google :) thanks for the tip xxx
Loved this review I'm going to order this now was sooo impressed with it thankyou kerry xx
Aahh I am so glad this was useful for you :) xxx
I hate ironing but I do love a nice crease down the arms of shirts, tops and trousers, how can you do this with a steamer? 🤷♀️x
You can do this with the steamer by holding the arm with it creased where you want the crease to be and the steamer flare s it along that crease :) xxx
thanks for the proper hands on on the usage. will get it today
Very good review, however I prefer to use my steam generator iron each to their own.
What about collar and cuffs are you still pressing those?
Does this work equally good for linen clothes and curtains?
Do you need to press the button all the time?
Hi kerry. I don't really iron anymore but the steamer looks alot easier.thanks for another demonstration xx👍💕🌞

Thankyou for helping us decide.
You are welcome :) glad this was helpful :) xxx
Bought one from asda 15.99. I am pleased with it. Continuous steam option good water tank no accessories with it but I suppose that reflects the price
Oh wow that’s an amazing price.. makes mine look super expensive 😱
Thanks will buy
Can I use this for facial treatment as well?

Is yours the same make?
@@helenuk9582 Hi Helen, no mine is called Beautural Handheld Garment Steamer, hope this is helpful x
Why music - I want to listen to the sound the steamer makes. Also, how much water to put into the barrel?
i have this steamer and it is too weak for fabrics like linen or cotton. this only work on delicate fabric like silk...
Start from 6:04 min
maybe because I am a guy and dont know. whats the difference between this and a regular iron?
Good for curtains too 🙂
Yes I’ve heard that too.. I’m excited to find more things to try it out on too :) xxx
thanks
Great video . I’m getting one right now heheheheh ☺️
Hmm if it takes 5 minutes per garment, then it's slower than ironing, but it does look useful.

Fantastic review, thank you Kerry. Although 5 minutes to spend on just one shirt isn't exactly what I have in mind, regardless of the result.
Same i thought it would be more like 2 minutes with this
The shirts still creased im guessing she was paid because ive not heard her mention it.
thank you :)
Ooh I’ve been considering getting one of these to take on holiday. I have a fancy steam generator iron but I hate having creased clothes when on holiday and travel irons aren’t the best. I’m glad you made this video 👍🏻
This is perfect for travelling and doesn’t take up too much space either! Xxx

Can it replace regular ironing? Or not very practical / takes too much time to steam items?
l think, it will last longer than with iron. But l use it oftener than my iron😅🤷♀️
Are you supposed to actually touch the clothes with the end our not?
Steam generator iron would do each of these items in 15 seconds. This looks like its only a go to for delicate items

Starts steaming at 10.40
or you could just use your Iron thats at home for the past few years
It didn't work for any of the colar of your shirt and dress
HONEST REVIEW & DEMO - its a totally s. h. i. t. 1) water leaks 2) Steam is too WEAK 3) watertank is for 1shirt 4) it splashes with water
Why didn’t you show this in real speed? The video was accelerated so it did not show it right. This was not honest review at all.
6:07 anything remotely relevant to the title!
I thought the whole video was relevant. Loved it!
Too much talking, not enough action.
😅😅😅
Pls understand she is a woman
to mutch talking. all this could be done under 5 min.
Stop talking so much and use it all ready
6 minutes talking and finally start steaming...
