I really dont know why it happened, but once i killed shinnok on the pc version and the usual screaming animation of shinnok started, but the pc took over my character and started beating the shit out of the supposed to be falling shinnok. We couldnt stop laughing with my brother.

I think there was a visual limitation issue in regards to available memory space, the game would have to, in theory load ALL possible character models since he could change into anyone, so he couldn’t morph, BUT it actually led to some sneaky play if the opponent wasn’t paying attention to the announcer

Well, play Johnny Cage against Shinnok morphed into Tanya or Sonya, and you will understand.
It’s a temporary ability he showcases using other people’s styles, plus he has his own kombat capabilities as well which basically models him after Shang Tsung.
Funny thing is this is what shinnok was original supposed to play as. Think Ed boon said that he had the ability at mimicking other players move sets, but they couldn’t find a way to make that work in the game so they left it out. But yeah if they had left it in then there is no doubt he would’ve been a broken cheap ass piece of shit boss to fight against.
@@firstjedi2 For as far as i know, it slows the game, yet the inputs are in normal speed, so a TAS player can just bug the game with special move inputs and see the opponent's movements.
And it doesn’t work if you knock people into the foreground on the final hit, right before the “maximum damage” happens. Also, instead of having that bs that limits combos to be a certain %, they instead got combo scaling~ after a bit :3
