Sorry to hear about the tractor, makes chores around your farm so much more labor intensive, huh! Thank you for showing the boys working and the birthday boy opening his present. The little ones are so very special. God bless to you and your family. :-)
Simeon, I'm pleased you've returned!I very much anticipate your wonderful video as I'm certain many others do as well.Blessings to you and your family,The "Old One" in N Idaho, USA
Happy Birthday, Daniel! I know that feeling, it is always something! Had to take our mowing deck to be welded after buying new wheels, husband didn't remove the deck before doing bucket work so now the deck axels are bent! Good luck with your tractor repairs.
Sorry to hear about the tractor, I hope it's back to normal soon. Your children are delightful. We're still praying for Alex's folks. Blessing to you all.
We've got about a foot of snow here in Victoria, BC., which is unusual. I love it! Not so envious of you now:) The boys did good work, you teach them well. Hope the tractor repair is uncomplicated. Blessings to everyone.
The scenery was beautiful. I only like snow in pics lol. So good to see the boys working with you. I'm a 85lb. 66 year old grandmother. I had a fence to split and a gate to hang this week and knew I wasn't heavy enough to dig the holes and set the post by myself, so I asked my grandson to help me. When my daughter offered up the assistance of her boy friend I declined, because my grandson has worked with me his whole life. And at 22 I knew he would follow my directions and not try to reinvent the wheel. Job went well and done in under an hour. The glory of working together while they are young. Sorry about the tractor. We never realize how much we depend on an item until it isn't available, bummer.
Happy Valentines and Happy Birthday Michael. It was my grandma's birthday today too. The boys working that pile sure brings back memories of my growing up days on our farm. "Hard work never hurt a soul", as my grandma used to say, and she was right. We have two feet of snow here and it is coming down again. Got out to town yesterday, and I counted fifteen bald eagle's along the Columbia river, it was marvelous. Anyway, I hope you figure out the trouble with your tractor and that it isn't a major problem. Having a tractor fail is never good but in the winter it is even worse. Reminds me of the time our oven failed in the middle of cooking the Christmas turkey. Thankfully it was saved by the kindness of our neighbor, who had just finished cooking his, so he let us use his oven. It was the best Christmas turkey ever, but it would have made you laugh to see us trucking that huge bird back and forth across the street through the snow.
One of my favorite things about your channel is seeing your adorable children. Hoping you are able to get their channel up again. Everything about your posts is inspiring.
We got a ton of snow in Wisconsin. Now to shovel it today. UGH!!! MY snowblower I just bought is too small to go thru it and I'm expecting a propane delivery. I just moved to the country and The Green Acres song keeps popping into my head.
I grow up in country with my grandparents and work was plentiful for children, dint had to much choice, but now looking back to that time I'm so grateful, I have loved working all my life and I still do. Happy Valentine's day to you, your lovely family and all your supporters. 💖
Hi Simeon :) Great to see you and the boys mucking in together, the cows looked like children lining up for lunch in the school canteen lol, definitely looking more spring like, keep well and look forward to seeing you all soon
A great video. I so enjoy watching your boys working with you. When I was their age I grew up around my grandfather and he taught me many things that helped me in life.
It might be a good thing that you've gotten some warm weather. This will let the ground soak up the snow melt, recharging the ground water. If the snow melts too fast, the water will just end up in the lakes and rivers.
Thank you so good to see you and your boys working I did the same thing with my children didn't have a farm but had them help me with my garden very good
Yes could be crank case dilution, change oil and filters if it is run some clean fuel with injector cleaner through it , if the tractor was loosing power before this happened look at rings , pistons ect. Good luck
Good to see you back and the beautiful scenery. Your video is awesome. Watching you boys help reminded me of my younger sister them many yrs. ago raking leaves in our yard for my dad after school. It was our job being we was the last of the siblings left at home us girls. We to lagged in our job at times and dad would always add a special comment to get us to going faster to get it done. There going to grow up to be some great farmers like there father and your parents. Happy Birthday Daniel 🎂. Hope things work out on tractor. Prayers to all your family always. Looking forward to next video. God bless you all. P. S Expecting 3 more snow storms here in Kansas City Kansas USA this week lol. So ready for spring.
Check the level of oil in the crankcase on the dipstick. IF much higher than "full", you may have a seal failed on the fuel pump, leaking fuel into the crankcase, diluting the oil and the excess is getting out any way it can. I had this happen on a small diesel engine.
@@julier1080 I don't think that Kioti had a turbo, but it could be the oil seals on the valve stems. Also could be one of tbe injectors is faulty and dribbling in too much fuel, which gets mixed with soot and looks like oil when it gets blown out the exhaust. If the oil level is staying the same, suspect the injectors. Tbey would be an easy fix. Easy to remove, and probably a couple of hundred euro to test and overhaul all three.
Good point Nigel. Injector would make sense in connection with fuel filter change- maybe a speck of dirt got in the system and now keeping one from seating properly. I thought all those little tractors had turbo to get the power needed. I know some Kioti models do....
@@julier1080 not all small tractors of that general type have turbo, but I have seen all of these failure modes, pluss one with a cracked piston. Even one where the rod had smashed through the side of the block, ruining the starter on it's way 😀
@@julier1080 Looking on Google, those little Kioti models are 22 horsepower, from a 1000cc three cylinder engine, most Korean and Japanese engines are very reliable, so its probably minor.
Faye Keller here from Emmett Idaho, I don't know much but sounds like you must have air in the lines. Possible you can check that out first. I know that can be an issue on tractors and 4 wheelers. Good luck.. it's late here so I will watch the rest of your video tomorrow. Good night
The family does grow!! and fast too. Thats clever how you did the feeding slots but left the top open to give space for their horns. I was wondering how that was going to get worked out.
Try going on Tractor by net. They have a great forum for Kioti owners on there. I have gotten some great tips as some of the members are very knowledgeable. Oil out the exhaust? Never heard of that one before.
Numero Uno . Gee, I have been waiting for you . The new fuel filter has no direct connection to the oil inside of the engine. There has been some kind of a mechanical failure inside of the engine. Should be covered by a warranty . Can you not use the four wheeler to tow a wagon ? That way you could move more wood chips at one time . I tow wagons with my lawn tractor . That good snow should help with your drought. The weather is crazy . I have had 54 degrees F and then snow and freezing again. Then warmer again followed by more snow . A rain and thunderstorm yesterday with 3 " of snow overnight. A farmer's life , eh ?
@@julier1080 OR maybe the engine was running rough and they thought "new fuel filter". As I said, they have have a fuel leak diverting fuel into the crankcase (seal would be on the main pump), and supplying less to the engine....which would also act like blocked fuel flow. If it's blowing raw fuel out the exhaust, it has to be coming from somewhere.
Hard work never hurt any child, you got to really crack the whip to make those kids respect the benefits of disciplined labor. You have the same weather as we do here in NY state Catskills region. Alot of snow, then melt, then more snow. Warming up during the daytime means its time to tap the maple trees for sugaring. Not sure if you do that there.
Beautiful opening sequence. Looks very much as it does here in the U.P. of Michigan, but without much snow. We got another foot of snow yesterday. Now the ground cover is well over too feet deep with the settling. Love it. Nice video. Can I borrow your boys? >
Sounds like a bad exhaust valve seal or turbo seal. Unlikely the fuel filter change is related. Hope it turns out to be a minor repair, but worst case, those small engines are easy to pull and rebuild.
I was once helping my brother to collect wood logs from deep snow in January. Yes, I walked around and he just sit inside the tractor(hmph). It was very cold weather and he decide to do a turn by locking the left back tire. What happened next is, that the tire broke off from the axle, green liquid poured on the ground and we needed an expert to fix it. My father was very pissed off as it was his tractor and he like to take good care of his machines. Sorry if my terms are not right, but you get the point..I hope.
Sorry about your tractor but praise the Lord that you have such a great hard working family.
Raising your kids right. That’s the way I grew up. Happy Birthday Daniel!!🎈🎂🎈
