Hi. Welcome to the channel. Unfortunately it probably won’t work in your car. These carplay devices work in cars with only wired carplay system not wireless. I have tried it on my Ford which has wireless carplay but it didn’t work. But, it does work in some cars with wireless carplay, I suggest you get one of these devices to test it in your car, make sure you have a return option so you can send it back without losing any money

I notice this one is similarly spec’d, can you give any confidence that this one will work with the Subaru headunit? CarPlay protocol does not support multi touch so none of these boxes will have multitouch unless they are android auto based ( I don’t know of any worthwhile ones )
